to help banish some no-no thoughts I decided to busy myself with my own fan design for TSBS Jack 'O Moon-

leaned heavy into the scarecrow aspect of his design.

(also gonna preface: if Jack ever gets a redesign and I get asked to do it, I am NOT using this one. I won't suffer another Solar situation QwQ This boi is MINE.)

Adorable references! Lil Eclipse looking so mad, Lil Bloodmoon looking ready to make his continued existence everybody else's problem 😈 And lil Lunar just looking as adorable as ever 🤩

And Solar Flare is adorable as ever in his body! Truly the only adult in the room, LOL!

When the Bean references finally drop- I was trying to stay simple. Originally started with Eclipse cause I had his ref started for Artfight last year. Then I scribbled out the rest and a nice excuse to update lunar.

We got flat color, Lineless drawings to show contrast, and side profiles. Lunar gets a color update and longer hat. The shapes in his eyes differ in this AU 'cause no star powers for him. Solar Flare I like how his turn around came out, wheeled up and ready to roll out.

I’m sorry for asking, but I’m not sure what you mean by “another Solar situation,” could you please explain?

I explained in the comments of that post, but-

What I meant by it was, by having my design be used for Solar's new model, I essentially gave away/lost the rights to claim it as mine. I can say I made the design for it, but I can no longer say the design belongs to me. It is now property of the company who owns the shows.

And while I've had to resign myself to this fact and accept it, I was still pretty heartbroken once I came to that realization. So I take this as a learning experience going forward.

It does make me happy that people were hoping and excited for my design becoming canon. But if I could go back and make changes so it wasn't based off my fan design, I would.

Alrighty, she is done! There is still some clipping but not so bad anymore (and I can't fix it witout risking to make it worse).

But anything else we didn't find any other issues.

I was working on this model since octobre!

@rubydevilcat-blog did a test run with their VR headset and we made wonderful pictures. The one with the floating head and their model Circus is the funniest.

And I couldn't help it to involve Sun in it 😅

You can:

-hold a package and a clipboard

-has 4 different outfits (and be bodyless)

-3 different hairstyles (and be bald)

-her ears wiggle and can interact with them

-Skirt, bow and hair wiggle too but that work for PC

-3 different emotions

@rubydevilcat-blog has also their own Laia Cotton model. They did a wonderful job with it and doesn't have clipping like mine.

One day if I have more experience about creating models, I might update it but until then I'm done!

⚠️An Important Message from Davis⚠️

Haven’t seen any posts here from him on this issue but figured I make this known anyways just to spread some awareness.

This is a message from a VRChat Group of the Sun and Moon Fan Club co-ran by MoonMoon.

I have seen these models (except for Dazzle) running about in Public Instances in the DayCare World.

As cool as it was to see few of them up close on all the details and the little features they have that can’t be seen on a Phone Screen—

Stealing/Ripping is NOT OK!!

These models are owned by Blackshore and as much as I am learning of this company at this time and don’t like them by the minute— They can still sue…

So heed this warning from the Company… No reason to get into any legal trouble cause few are mad at BlackShore for their wrong doings… And to be clear. What I’m hearing I am not sure of the truth but the reasoning behind the sudden spread of avatars is apparently a protest for how the Company treats the VAs. This however is what I am hearing and being told by those who had nabbed these avatars and are spreading them about. Again I am not sure on the matters if this is true or not.

If true I’m sure there are better ways to show how displeased you are with Blackshore other than this way. If one of the issues is how the VAs are being paid or not getting the money from the premiums/streams they do on the shows. You know you can go to Davis, Reeds and Kat’s personal streams and donate to them personally. Right?
