Climate Change and Periods

In today’s world, we do face climate change at a very rapid pace. And you know what, it actually affects periods. The time of 'menarche,' or the first menstruation, may shift as a result of climate change, increasing illness risk for women. Natural catastrophes and extreme weather events have an impact on environmental factors such as food availability and chemical release, which can lead to early or late menarche in menstruators.

Menarche can affect illness risk and health later in life because the menstrual cycle affects many essential activities in the body. Seasonal changes have an impact on your dietary pattern. In the summer, we eat mangoes, which raise our body temperature. The uterus contracts as a result of the increased heat in the pelvic region. A change in climate may also result in an increase in appetite. If you eat more in a colder climate, your body may produce more oestrogen, which changes the length of your period cycle.

Climate change also affects the way we exercise and how active we are. During the summer, one works out more regularly. The period cycle is pushed by a day or two.  When the weather becomes cold, though, you tend to reduce your physical activity, causing your periods to arrive a few days sooner.

We could see that climate change is real and has real consequences for our lives. Isn’t it high time that we act responsibly and tackle it? Let’s not disturb the natural cycle which in turn wouldn’t disturb the menstrual cycle of the menstruators.

the next part of todays #artstories is that i added the seasonal tree, and it looked like it wanted more, so I put in a light source ( #sun ) but it still needed more, so I ent with the flock of birds...buuut then, the other side needed more. I added the cardinal ( I had never drawn a bird before, close ups of him coming later) his name is Bumpy...next came the happy snowman, and lastly the moon. I wasn’t going to put the moon in, but it looked so crisp in the sky when I experimented with it, I had to leave it there. Winter laughed and danced between the trees, leaves crunching on the ground behind her. Summer smiled at her from the shadows, an icy wind ruffling his hair as she passed. There was a malicious glint in his eye, and his smile was crooked. Winter let out a soft giggle, and snow began to float down, the bare, dead branches of the trees now covered in a dream like blanket of snow, with shimmering crystals of ice hanging from each on. She laughed again, her laughter like icicles clattering to the ground.

Summer followed, life sprouting in his wake. The trees sprung to life, and green blossomed in the forest. Flowers opened up their petals to his light, and he smirked at them. Oh, how life could be fooled so easily. Animals scampered as his feet crushed plants in his path and ahead of him, Winter froze. Her snowy hair, blown about her like a blizzard in her own biting wind, drooped.

"Summer," she muttered, and frost began to race towards Summer, ending at his feet.

"Winter!" He greeted her cheerfully, baring his teeth in a smile. "Have you heard? Life has decided you are the better season. You will be the season of joy." The cheer faded from his voice, and anger entered. It was not like Winter's anger, sharp, snapping at those who dared cross her. It was fury. It would bring destruction upon all who was in his path. Winter spun to face him.

"I had no say in the matter," She retorted. "Anyhow, life is far more powerful than you. You cannot change anything now." Summer scowled, and a tree to his right burst into flames.

"She is my mother. She has been here longer than your little lover. And if she won't pay..."He let out a dark chuckle, and the frost at his feet began to withdraw racing towards its master. "Then you will." Winter saw the gleam in his eye, the fury building within him. She raised a hand, and an icy wind shot out, flying eastwards, calling for the sun. Summer reached for it, and the wind died quickly. Winter straightened her back.

"You can't kill me," she gasped, hoping he didn't hear the tremor in her voice. Summer sighed and held his hand to the raging fire that was his hair. Drawing a flame from it, he bowled the fire towards her.

"True. And while my mother, life, and your lover, death, may have decided you are the joyous season, it's only the people that count. And the people will only think of you as death."

The flame latched onto a nearby branch and rushed towards the tree trunk. Sparks flew, and the plants surrounding it burst into flames. It spread quickly, engulfing the forest in fire. Summer closed his eyes and reached his arms toward the sun, as screams filled his ears, and destruction seeped from his mind into his heart.

"Are you proud of me?" He hissed to the flaming ball in the sky, and the last thing he heard before the Earth was made, and the seasons were sent to guard it, was the final, piercing scream of Winter.

how nice would it be to swim during the winter months? In our country we are experiencing cold and snowy weather while in the air it would be a distinct pleasure to experience the summer vacation. How can be done in the summer holidays in the winter months. When we lived in the summer and winter which countries you live? Let’s see together.

Barbados

Barbados famous stars usually are on vacation. The barbadian beauty dazzles with world frequented by the jet set preferred. The water here is so clear you can see the bottom of the sea from all sides. Crystal clear waters, surfing making facilities, night life and spectacular views, especially from our country you can go to Barbados for the winter months to come.

Cayo Coco / Cuba

when you perform your vacation on a tropical beach, and if you want to swim in the winter, this is the place for you. Located in the central part of Cuba, Cayo Coco is great in the turquoise sea, nature with palm trees and beautiful places worth a visit. On the one hand in the fine sand, sunbathing, tanning, on the other hand, you can enjoy the quiet nature. This is a place kartpostallik almost, and you almost make it feel like a dream.

Goa / India
