Summer Wardrobe - Project 02

For a while I have been looking for a pair of shorts that I actually feel comfortable in. Which as someone who has always been plus sized this has not been the easiest thing to find.

I feel that I can just never find shorts where I actually like the fit or my butt isn’t hanging out all the time.

And don’t get me wrong, a girl def loves to pop some booty from time to time.

But it would be super nice sometimes to not have chaffed thighs while constantly worrying about my lady bits hanging out when I sit down.

So I decided that cozy, but cute shorts were def a must for this summer.

Luckily I had a pair of yellow checkered pants from target that needed a fresh new start. I honestly use to love the original pants. But after wearing them more than I am willing to admit, I grew bored of them.

However after up-cycling them into shorts I have found my love I have for these bottoms again.

For my next project I’m going to be turning the scraps from the pant legs into a top to match.

Which I’m more excited about than I probably should be….

But what can I say… I just really love a 2 piece set.
