#summer fieldwork always sucked

I've been staying inside so much I'm starting to get like, anxiety about going outside the apartment by myself. Like I really want to go outside and be in nature but I'm also afraid I'll get lost or cause a flare up. It doesn't help that the area around the apartment is like an island surrounded by highways, and I don't have my car. Technically I could take the metro or buses somewhere but I'm tired of dealing with the inaccessibility and constant questions and "do you need help"s from abled strangers. So I just stay in my apartment and stare at my crayfish. I miss streams and wetlands and getting covered in mud and stinky water and bugs.
