So I haven’t updated in a hot minute, but I will be talking about
Kotaro Lives Alone.
Okay, this anime hits me right in the found family feels for real everybody. This show literally gives me serotonin with a smack of sadness. Just how I like it tbh.
Kotaro is so cute, he’s mature yet so innocent and it tugs at my heartstrings that he feels the way he feels. The way he tries to be positive and helpful and sweet to everyone is just so adorable. I especially love his dynamic with Karino. 😭😭
Just the way they interact and how close they gotten also tugs at my heartstrings. Karino doesn’t feel necessarily obligated to do the things he does for Kotaro, but he wants too cause he genuinely likes and cares about him. And it’s just so 😭😭
The situation Kotaro is in, is so sad to me. And Karino just steps up being that good brother/father figure and is doing it in such a healthy way and I just can’t even put into words how cute it is to me. Like he just wants to provide the best life experiences he can to Kotaro and I think that’s amazing of him. Obviously I love Isamu, Mizuki and Takei, but man, their relationship hits the closest to me.
I like how it’s kind of like, “it takes a village to raise a child.” Cause in this case it kind of does? Not only do people help out Kotaro and making sure he stays afloat, but he also returns the favor by so much. He wants everyone to be happy and healthy, and it reflects so well as to how grew up (in his short years of living so far). Like a nice little two-way street of healthy advice giving, even though it’s kind of dark of how he found out.
I would love if they were to continue this, even if it was just one more season to seal it off. It was a happy ending in the tenth episode, though bittersweet. But I think expanding on Kotaro and everyone would be amazing. 🥹
**Also, sorry if these are like short and dumb. I just try not to spoil/give too much away. And I feel like I definitely would if I went into further detail.

Tsunku apparently said Goto Hana overacts with her reactions and she has the atmosphere of a child actor. In past auditions he said he really didn't like when girls seemed rehearsed like child actors (Gaki-san who was UFA's pick and Sato Sumire). I think her going to ANGERME was a fantastic idea because she probably would have gotten crumbs in Tsunku's Morning Musume songs.

[Evil Former Friend] - Does your muse have any exes or ex-friends that they hate? Talk about them!
[Died In Your Arms Tonight] - Would your muse want to be alone as they die or have company? Would this change if the death was sudden and unexpected?
Botan Amai and sumire
Saddurday Ask Memes
[Evil Former Friend]
Amai: Their ex, Hasegawa, is the only person that they've ever been in a "relationship" with, and they're utterly terrified of him. It's really hard to describe it as a relationship even, but it's the only word that they can think of when it comes to it. To Amai, Hasegawa was only the lesser of two devils but still a devil nonetheless. A big part of the reason they're the way they are now is because of Hasegawa, and they aren't sure if it's better or worse than how they would be if they had never met him.
Botan: There are a few people that Botan refuses to think about anymore. Namely, there was a girl whose name he can't remember that tried to get close to him and Masao only to find out that she was the granddaughter of one of the people her father killed. She stabbed him and left him for dead in an alleyway. She's not around anymore, though.
Sumire: Other than her dolls and family, Sumire never really got close to a lot of people, nor did she have the chance to, so she doesn't really have a lot of former friends or any exes at all.
[Died In Your Arms Tonight]
Amai and Botan answered here (x)
Sumire: Sumire hopes that she'll have someone in her life when she dies, though she is afraid that she won't and she'll only have her dolls. Her grandfather won't live forever, and while she'll always have her dolls, they're not people... not in the way that she needs someone.

-Cut of the ONE OK ROCK - Taka & Takeru Satoh’s conversation project (PRIMAL FOOTMARK 2021) Note: i think this was a paid content in some app so to see the full thing you will need to pay :( i found an account on twitter that did some eng translations but it’s all very vaguely unfortunately (by that i mean, not like, translating word by word of what they had said)

I became a fan later so I may be missing stuff but Gaki had the vibe of a child actor? I never noticed. Does that mean that Tsunku was forced to give her lines, because she never lacked lines while in MM since she joined. I thought Sato Sumire was just smiley and bubbly, A part of me wished she had joined with Aika. Talking about Aika, he chose her just not to give her lines past her first 3 singles? Someone explain the logic.
