For many, changing hair colour or getting a perm can be an exciting way to refresh their look. However, these treatments can also cause significant damage if not done correctly. Understanding the effects of chemical treatments and how to care for your hair afterwards is essential for maintaining healthy, vibrant locks.
This guide will explore the basics of hair colouring and perming, alongside expert tips for keeping your hair in top condition.
Understanding Hair Colouring
Hair colouring has become a common beauty practice, allowing people to express themselves or cover up greys. However, it’s essential to understand how hair colouring works and the potential impact on your hair’s health.
How Hair Colouring Works
Hair dyes work by penetrating the outer layer of the hair shaft, altering its natural colour. Permanent hair dyes contain ammonia and hydrogen peroxide, which work together to open the hair shaft and allow the colour to be deposited inside. This process, however, can weaken the hair, leading to dryness, brittleness, and breakage.
Semi-permanent and temporary hair colours, on the other hand, do not penetrate the hair shaft as deeply. These options tend to be less damaging but may not provide the long-lasting results of permanent dyes.
The Impact of Hair Colouring
Frequent hair colouring can strip your hair of its natural moisture and weaken the hair shaft, leaving your hair more susceptible to damage. The chemicals in hair dyes can also irritate the scalp, leading to itching, redness, or even allergic reactions in some cases.
To minimise damage, consider limiting the frequency of colouring sessions and opting for nourishing, hair-friendly products specifically designed for coloured hair.
Understanding Perming
Perming, short for "permanent wave," involves chemically altering the structure of the hair to create curls or waves. This process is especially popular among those with straight hair who desire more volume and texture.
How Perming Works
Perming involves applying a chemical solution to break the hair’s natural bonds, followed by winding the hair around rods or curlers to form curls. Once the desired shape is achieved, a neutralising solution is applied to reform the hair’s bonds in the new shape.
Like hair colouring, perming is a chemical process that can weaken the hair and make it more prone to damage.
The Impact of Perming
While perms can create stunning results, the process can be harsh on your hair. Over time, repeated perming can lead to split ends, dryness, and loss of elasticity. Therefore, it’s crucial to space out perming treatments and invest in quality hair care products to maintain the health of your hair treatment.
Expert Tips for Keeping Your Hair Healthy After Colouring and Perming
Whether you’ve coloured or permed your hair, proper aftercare is vital to keep your hair healthy and looking its best. Here are some expert tips to help you care for chemically treated hair:
1. Choose Sulphate-Free Shampoos
Sulphates are common ingredients in many shampoos, but they can strip your hair of its natural oils, leading to dryness and colour fading. Opt for sulphate-free shampoos that are gentle on your hair and help retain moisture. Many shampoos are specifically formulated for coloured or permed hair, offering extra protection against damage.
2. Deep Condition Regularly
Colouring and perming can deplete your hair’s moisture levels, so it’s essential to replenish it regularly. Use deep conditioning treatments or hair masks at least once a week to restore moisture and maintain softness. Look for products that contain nourishing ingredients like argan oil, keratin, and shea butter.
3. Limit Heat Styling
Heat styling tools, such as hairdryers, straighteners, and curling irons, can exacerbate the damage caused by chemical treatments. Try to limit the use of these tools as much as possible. When you do use them, always apply a heat protectant spray to minimise damage.
4. Trim Your Hair Regularly
Regular trims are essential for keeping your hair healthy, especially after colouring or perming. Trimming the ends every six to eight weeks helps prevent split ends from travelling up the hair shaft and causing further damage. This also keeps your hair looking fresh and prevents it from becoming unruly.
5. Protect Your Hair from the Sun
UV rays from the sun can be just as damaging to your hair as chemical treatments. Prolonged sun exposure can fade your hair colour and make your hair dry and brittle. If you’re going to be out in the sun for an extended period, consider wearing a hat or applying a UV-protectant hair spray.
6. Opt for Professional Treatments
If your hair has undergone extensive colouring or perming, it may benefit from professional treatments available at a cosmetic clinic. Treatments like keratin therapy, deep conditioning treatments, and scalp therapies can provide intense nourishment and repair for damaged hair. You can find clinics that offer hair treatment near you that can help restore your hair’s vitality and shine.
7. Be Gentle with Wet Hair
Wet hair is more vulnerable to breakage, so it’s essential to handle it with care. After washing your hair, gently pat it dry with a towel instead of rubbing it vigorously. Avoid brushing your hair when it’s wet, as this can cause it to snap. Instead, use a wide-tooth comb to detangle it gently.
8. Hydrate from the Inside Out
Healthy hair starts from within. Make sure you’re drinking enough water and eating a balanced diet rich in vitamins and minerals that support hair health. Foods high in omega-3 fatty acids, biotin, and vitamins A, C, and E can promote stronger, shinier hair.
Conclusion
Hair colouring and perming can be fantastic ways to express yourself and transform your appearance. However, it’s essential to remember that these treatments come with their share of potential risks. By following the above tips and taking proper care of your hair, you can enjoy your new look while keeping your hair healthy and strong.
If you’re considering a new hair treatment, it’s always a good idea to consult with a professional. A reputable cosmetic clinic in Melbourne can provide tailored advice and treatments to ensure your hair remains in the best possible condition.

Revitalize Your Hair with Cosworld’s Sulphate-Free Hair Mask
Sulphates are commonly found in hair care products, but they can strip your hair of natural oils, leaving it dry and damaged. Switching to a sulphate-free hair mask is an excellent way to nurture your locks without the harsh chemicals. At Cosworld, we understand the importance of gentle, nourishing hair care, which is why we offer a range of sulphate-free hair masks at the best prices in India, available online at Cosworld.in. Let’s explore why a sulphate-free hair mask is the best choice for your hair health.
Why Go Sulphate-Free?
Sulphates are detergents that produce a rich lather in shampoos and hair masks, but they can be too harsh for some hair types. They remove dirt and oil effectively, but in doing so, they also strip away the scalp's natural oils, leading to dryness and potential irritation. This can be especially harmful for people with sensitive scalps, curly hair, or chemically treated hair. Sulphate-free hair masks, on the other hand, provide a gentler alternative that cleanses and nourishes without causing damage. Cosworld’s sulphate-free hair masks are formulated to maintain the health of your scalp while delivering deep hydration to your hair.
Benefits of Using Sulphate-Free Hair Masks
Retains Natural Oils: Sulphate-free hair masks help retain the scalp’s natural oils, keeping your hair moisturized and healthy. This is especially beneficial for people with dry or curly hair, as these hair types need extra moisture to prevent frizz and breakage.
Gentle on Scalp: Many people experience scalp irritation from sulphates, leading to dryness and itchiness. A sulphate-free hair mask from Cosworld ensures your scalp remains calm and comfortable, reducing the risk of irritation.
Suitable for Color-Treated Hair: Sulphates can cause color-treated hair to fade faster. Using a sulphate-free hair mask can help maintain the vibrancy of your hair color while keeping it soft and manageable.
Prevents Dryness and Damage: Sulphate-free masks provide deep hydration, which is essential for preventing hair damage, breakage, and split ends. Ingredients like argan oil, shea butter, and keratin in Cosworld’s hair masks help repair and nourish your hair from root to tip.
How to Use Cosworld’s Sulphate-Free Hair Mask
For best results, apply the sulphate-free hair mask to clean, damp hair. Start by spreading a generous amount from the mid-lengths to the ends of your hair, focusing on areas that are dry or damaged. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes to allow the nourishing ingredients to penetrate deeply. After rinsing, you’ll notice your hair feels softer, shinier, and more manageable. Use the mask 1-2 times a week for optimal results.

Professional Hair Care Treatments for Frizzy and Damaged Hair
Are you tired of battling with frizzy, damaged hair that refuses to cooperate no matter what products you try at home? You're not alone. Many individuals struggle with unruly hair that seems impossible to manage. Fortunately, there's a solution: professional hair care treatments specifically designed to tackle frizz and repair damage. In this blog, we'll explore some of the best options available to transform your locks and restore them to their former glory.
Understanding Frizzy and Damaged Hair
Before diving into treatments, it's essential to understand the root cause of frizz and damage. Frizzy hair typically lacks moisture and has raised cuticles, which allow moisture from the air to penetrate the hair shaft, causing it to swell and frizz. On the other hand, damaged hair often results from excessive heat styling, chemical treatments, or environmental factors, leading to dryness, breakage, and split ends.
The Importance of Professional Care
While DIY treatments can offer temporary relief, they often lack the potency and long-lasting results of professional interventions. Professional hair care treatments not only target specific concerns but also utilize high-quality ingredients and advanced techniques to deliver noticeable improvements in texture, shine, and overall health.
Luxurious Treatments at the Best Hair Salons in Perth
Perth boasts a thriving salon scene, with establishments offering a range of luxurious treatments to cater to every hair type and concern. When it comes to combating frizz and damage, discerning individuals turn to the best hair salons in Perth for expert guidance and transformative experiences.
One such treatment gaining popularity is the Luxury Hair Treatment, a decadent indulgence that pampers your hair while delivering intensive nourishment and repair. Infused with premium ingredients such as keratin, argan oil, and silk proteins, this treatment works to strengthen the hair shaft, seal the cuticles, and restore moisture balance, leaving your locks silky-smooth and lustrous.
Embracing Organic Solutions
For those mindful of chemical exposure or seeking a more natural approach, organic hair salons in Perth offer a range of treatments free from harsh chemicals and synthetic additives. Organic hair treatments harness the power of botanical extracts, essential oils, and plant-based ingredients to replenish lost nutrients, enhance hair resilience, and promote healthy growth.
Organic hair treatments for frizzy hair often include ingredients like coconut oil, shea butter, and aloe vera, known for their hydrating and smoothing properties. These treatments not only address frizz but also support overall hair health without compromising on purity or environmental sustainability.
Targeted Solutions for Damaged Hair
If your hair is suffering from extensive damage, specialized treatments tailored to repair and rejuvenate are your best bet. Hair treatment salons in Perth offer an array of targeted solutions, ranging from deep conditioning masks to protein-rich treatments that fortify weakened strands from within.
One standout option is the Protein Reconstruction Treatment, designed to rebuild the hair's structure and reverse damage caused by chemical processing or over-styling. Formulated with hydrolyzed proteins and amino acids, this treatment penetrates deep into the hair shaft, repairing damage, restoring elasticity, and minimizing breakage for visibly healthier hair.
Maintenance and Aftercare Tips
While professional treatments provide significant benefits, maintaining results requires proper care and attention at home. Here are some tips to prolong the effects of your treatment:
Use Sulphate-Free Shampoos: Sulphates can strip the hair of natural oils, leading to dryness and frizz. Opt for sulphate-free shampoos that gently cleanse without causing further damage.
Hydrate Regularly: Invest in a high-quality conditioner or hair mask to keep your locks hydrated and nourished between salon visits. Look for products containing moisturizing ingredients like glycerin, jojoba oil, or hyaluronic acid.
Limit Heat Styling: Excessive heat styling can exacerbate damage and frizz. Minimize the use of hot tools and always apply a heat protectant spray before styling to shield your hair from heat damage.
Protect from Environmental Stressors: UV rays, humidity, and pollution can all take a toll on your hair. Consider using leave-in conditioners or serums with UV filters to protect your locks from environmental aggressors.
Conclusion
Transforming frizzy, damaged hair into smooth, healthy locks is achievable with the right professional treatments and care regimen. Whether you prefer luxurious indulgence, organic solutions, or targeted repair, the best hair salons in Perth like Chilli Couture offers a plethora of options to suit your needs. By investing in professional care and adopting proper maintenance practices, you can say goodbye to frizz and hello to hair that radiates health and vitality.

What is frizz-free hair?
Well, frizz-free hair is every girl’s dream, unlike some beauty queens. But by definition, frizz is not particular to curly hair or afro-textured hair. Even straight hair can be frizzy too. Hence, smooth and healthy-looking hair with no dryness and flyaways can be considered frizz-free.
What exactly causes the frizz?
Lack of moisture in the hair can cause frizz. That is why dry hair seeks moisture from the air around it, which makes humidity the worst enemy of dry, frizzy hair. A variety of factors, in addition to the environment, can leave your hair more prone to frizz. Some of the elements are listed below:
1.Washing your hair with hot water 2.Using shampoo daily 3.Frequent use of hair styling tools 4.Not getting regular trims 5.Rubbing your hair with coarse towels 6.Not getting enough oil massages 7.Humidity and wind are also responsible
All these above reasons can hamper the overall health of your hair, leaving it dry and frizzy.
What is your type?
Even frizzy hair has categories that are listed below:
Surface frizz: Your hair’s exterior develops surface frizz, which appears as static surrounding your hair.
Halo frizz: Halo frizz appears on the top section of your hair and often seems like a crown made of hair strands.
Frizz at the ends: This kind of frizz appears like a split end, making your hair brittle and dull.
Pouffe ball frizz: In this case, the frizz appears throughout the hair and mimics the appearance of a pouffe ball. Hence, the name.
Do you want to get rid of frizzy hair?
Here comes the most awaited part, i.e., getting rid of frizzy hair. Removing frizz from your hair is impossible as it depends on various factors. But following some tips and tricks can help you manage your curly mane. So, here are 15 ways to get rid of your dry, frizzy hair with anti-frizz treatments and home remedies:
Applying argan oil on dry or damp hair can help in frizz reduction.
A homemade hair mask with coconut oil and aloe vera gel is also beneficial.
Almond oil and egg masks can also help to reduce frizz
Reduce the usage of hair styling tools
Wash your hair after every 3 or 4 days with a gentle shampoo and use a clarifying shampoo once a week
Use silk or satin pillowcases to reduce friction while sleeping
Use sulphate-free shampoos and ones with glycerin
Apply a hydrating hair mask once a week
Keratin treatments at the salon work like magic too
To tame your flyaways after shampoo, use a hair mousse
Always apply hair serum during styling
Dry your wet hair with a bamboo cotton towel or microfiber towel
Trim your edges frequently in two to four weeks to eliminate frizz and split ends.
After shampooing, use conditioner in the length of your hair for frizz control
Instead of a regular hair dryer, use a diffuser
Use leave-in conditioners and anti-humidity sprays to keep your hair frizz-free for longer.
Girl, we’ve got you!
If following the tips mentioned above does not improve your hair texture, visiting a hair salon is the best option. Oh yes yes please share your hair care routine
Sorry for the late response. Under the cut is my hair care routine if anyone else is interested.
Oiling
We underestimate oiling. You should oil your hair atleast an hour before you wash your hair. Oiling nourishes your hair and makes it less frizzy. But do not leave it over night, that would rather make your hair greasy. If you want to leave it overnight then use something light like a serum. There are various options for oils, you can look up their uses and choose one. Like tea tree oil or lavender, etc. And you should oil your hair atleast two times a week.
Steaming
After applying oil in your hair, you should use a steamer to let in sink in your scalp. It nourishes your hair deeply. I usually steam my hair for atleast 15-20 mins after I have applied oil or serum.
Right shampoo and conditioner
I would always tell you to use a sulphate free shampoo. The normal ones will make your hair dry and greasy, use a sulphate free shampoo and conditioner instead. It's a bit costly than the normal ones but it's worth it. You will see the difference in your hair after just one or two use. Now, as I told you I have done a keratin treatment for my hair so I use the one which also has keratin and argan oil in it. You can use it too. Also remember to only apply shampoo in your scalp. Don't shampoo your roots. And only condition your roots and not the scalp. Leave the conditioner for atleast 3-5 mins and rinse it thoroughly.
Right cloth to dry your hair with
Do not use a towel to dry your hair. The rough material of the towel will ruin and break your hair. Use a cotton t-shirt or cloth instead. And rub it gently on your hair.
Right method of drying your hair
I know most of us use the natural method of drying our hair which is air drying. BUT it's not the right method. The right method is to blow dry your hair. Leaving your hair wet for too long will make it weak as moisture will get stuck at your scalp. It will increase your hair fall. Especially if you have textured hair, I would always recommend you to use a blow dryer instead.
Stay away from hair styling tools
Do not use any hairstyling tools yourself at home, especially if you don't know anything about it. If you really need to use it then make sure you are applying a heat protecter before. And minimize the use of hairstyling tools on your hair. It really damages your hair.
Stop tieing your hair in buns or ponytails
It weakens your hair, creates more tangles and it is the reason for hair fall. Start using hair clips or hairbands instead, they are much better.
Regularly trim your hair
Trim the ends of your hair every 3-4 months. It increases your hair growth.
Pamper your hair
Pamper your hair once in a while. Use hair masks, different oils, get a hair spa, etc there are so many things you can do to pamper your hair. I would recommend getting a hair spa every month or two if you can.
[+] — Extras ;)
I would recommend you to start using a silk pillow case at night. And apply a night hair serum before sleeping, and tie your hair in a braid while sleeping. It won't damage your hair at night. Keep your bed and pillows clean. And start using a hair serum daily, a good one at that. And also eat healthy and drink a lot of water. That's all, I will add to this if I remember anything more.

ARE HAIR EXTENSIONS EASY TO SEE?
Hair extensions are one of the most valuable style tools today. From average people to celebrities, anybody can use extensions to improvement their look easily and with little to no effort. Whether you are looking for something colorful, length, or some extra volume, extensions are the first place I would propose numerous people start. If you are anxious about selecting colors, my proposal is always to go a bit lighter than darker. Lighter colors are relaxed to blend by far and characteristically extensions are done in an ombre or a gradient which also aids in the natural entrance. But, there is so much more to extensions than just that. Below are some further details answering your burning hair extensions questions.
IT IS ESSENTIAL TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT HAIR EXTENSIONS FOR YOUR HAIR
The kind of extensions you should get are all reliant on upon the kind of look you are going for. If you want them to look natural, the extensions should blend with your natural hair. Equally, if you want them to be bold, then find the brightest colors you can for that sole pop of color.
CLIP-INS
If you are going for that normal look, clip ins are the flawless place to start. They are easy to use, take little to no time to style, and can lift your look in so many ways. Though I have heard many people say that clip ins aren’t natural, I would disagree. It is all based on how you “installed” them if you will. The most significant thing is to blend the extensions with the new hair. Starting in pieces (typically extensions come in packs of 8 or 10) and make sure you leave sufficient hair on top of your head to hide any clips. But also another misapprehension is the size of clips. Clips are much lesser and often blend with hair as well - particularly with darker colors.
PONYTAILS
My first involvement with purchasing any sort of hair extension was a ponytail for a movie house show I was in. It was astonishing. It isn’t just easy to “install” (wraps around small buns or natural hair with a string that is easily hidden) but it also gives volume, length, and an easy style that anybody can do it. For anyone who is worried about not being able to use extensions or a wig, etc should start with the pony and before you know it you have crazy color extensions you are rocking on the regular.
3 THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE BUYING EXTENSIONS
Enhance your hair and transform to gorgeous tresses within minutes with Clip-In Extensions. Here is what you need to know in order to find the extensions that are right for you.
1. Your desired length -
It is important to be realistic about the length you want. To achieve the best results, start with your bio hair current length and then figure out how long you want or can go from there. If your hair is little (above the shoulder), you want to make sure you mix your length correctly so don't go too long... particularly if you don't have layers. The blunt cut will show up as a "ledge". We offer schemes with lengths that range from 14”-20.” As long as you have enough hair to hide the top weft, you can wear any length extensions that you wish. If your hair is shorter you may need more pieces than what is accessible in a single system.
2. Understanding the systems
Each clip-in hair extensions set originates in dissimilar piece amounts, bases, and lengths. Measure your hair and the desired volume you'd like to attain with hair extensions. Some persons may be at ease wearing 4 clip-ins and some may be more at ease wearing 8-10 clip-ins at a time. Our systems can range from 1pc, 2pc, 5pc, 8pc and 10pc. The dumpier the hair the more pieces you’ll need for length and the longer the hair the less pieces you’ll need for capacity. The more pieces obtainable in a single system the less amount of hair offered on each weft. The less amounts of pieces offered in a single system the more hair you will have on each weft. So don’t be worried when you find that an 8pc system cost more than a 10 pc system, you now know it is because there is more hair in the 8 pc system. It's all about personal favorite and your desired look!
3. How much time you have for your hair?
Heat-friendly artificial or human hair... that is the question. Contingent on how much time you would like to spend styling, you may favor artificial over human hair. Heat-friendly synthetic infrequently needs styled other than to integrate your hair with your extensions. However, this fiber type does not last as long. Human hair is very tough and long lasting but will require heat styling every time you'd like to wear your extensions.
Some Common Hair Extensions Horror
1. Traction Alopecia:
This is the most mutual problem caused by weave in extensions. If the weave is too close-fitting, it would tug at the natural hair causing hair loss and bald patches
2. Contact Dermatitis:
This is an sensitive reaction caused by glue used for attachment extensions to real hair. Symptoms include itchiness, red rash.
3. Headache:
If extensions are involved too close to the scalp then it could cause recurrent headache due to natural hair being pulled too tight.
4. Inflammation and irritation of scalp:
Once the extensions become snarled or matted, they get caught in tines while brushing or combing hair resulting in inflammation and irritation.
Always remember hair extensions manufacturing is unfettered and lacks the standards that apply to hair cutting and coloring industry. Hence, it is in your own attention to do as much research as possible
What are Colour Hair Extensions?
Colored Hair Extensions are an tremendously popular hair/ fashion addition these days. At some point or the other, you would have also careful using artificial extensions to add bright colors or tourist attractions to your hair. Though no hesitation extensions are an easy and prompt way to add volume or color to your hair, it can harm your hair and scalp if dangerous caution is not trained.
It is very significant to be completely aware about profits and hazards of any product before you start using it. It is all the more significant when the product narrates to your hair, as hair injury is very problematic and time consuming to repair.
History of hair extensions
Hair extensions were first used during the Egyptian age by both genders as an decoration. Egyptian men used to shave their scalp but wear wigs as a safeguard from the dissimilar elements, infections, and lice.
Extensions for women became popular in the early 19th century, when Edwardian women started wearing artificial hair add-ons to create the pompous hairstyles. By the Victorian era, hair extensions were being used lengthily. For most of the 20th and 21st century only rich could afford them.
Many years later, Asian countries like India and China started commercially meting out and industrial hair extensions. This made hair extensions reasonable and opened the way for selling colored hair extensions and wigs all over the world. The mixing methods have also evolved over this period, where earlier plant raisin was used to stick wigs to the head now there are techniques like fusion, clip-in, clip-on, bond weaving etc.

Simple Ways To Make Hair Silky, Long, And Soft
1. Comb When Wet, Brush When Dry 2. Use A Cotton T-shirt Instead Of Towel 3. Do Not Wash Your Hair With Hot Water 4. Avoid Heat Appliances And Treatments 5. Treat Your Hair With Hot Oil Massage
Natural Hair Remedies For Silky Hair Here are some tried and tested natural hair remedies that help you in achieving the smooth and silky hair you are dreaming of without having to step out of your house.
1. Aloe Vera Gel Aloe Vera contains enzymes that are great for repairing damaged skin cells present on your scalp. It can be used as a conditioner as it can make your hair much smoother than before.
Aloe Vera is a great source of Keratin (the type of protein our hair is made up of). This protein can reduce dandruff, stimulate the process of hair growth and give you smooth and silky hair. (3)
Here is the process of preparing Aloe Vera hair mask -
Step 1: Scoop out the gel from the leaves of Aloe Vera into a small bowl. Blend it till it becomes a smooth paste.
Step 2: Now, add two tablespoons of water to dilute the gel.
Step 3: Apply the prepared solution to your hair using a brush. Let this sit for about half an hour.
Step 4: Then, wash off with cold water.
2. Yoghurt Yoghurt is a great source of vital vitamins, these play a crucial role in promoting good hair health. Yoghurt also helps in repairing damaged and dull hair. The lactic acid in yoghurt hydrates your hair, strips away the dead skin cells and boosts hair follicle growth.
In short, yoghurt offers the nourishment that is required to strengthen your hair while adding the desired lustre to it. (4)
Smooth and silky hair can be easily achieved with the following yoghurt hair mask:
Step 1: Take a bowl and mix one cup of yoghurt, four drops of lavender essential oil and two tablespoons of olive oil.
Step 2: Apply the prepared paste on the scalp and along the length of your hair with the help of a brush.
Step 3: Using a shower cap, cover your hair and let it sit for 20 minutes.
Step 4: Later, rinse it off with a mild shampoo and cold water.
3. Coconut Oil The most common and popular fix recommended by every hair expert is coconut oil. It contains vitamins and fatty acids that help your hair grow longer, thicker and faster. Because the oil is rich in lauric acid and can easily penetrate the hair strands, it can act as a great conditioner. Coconut oil also helps in locking in moisture giving your hair a gorgeous glow and shine. (2)
Step 1: Take a bowl and heat three to four tablespoons of coconut oil for a few seconds. The oil should be slightly warm.
Step 2: Now, with your fingertips, massage the oil for 15 minutes on your scalp.
Step 3: Using a shower cap, cover your hair for 20 minutes.
Step 4: Then, rinse it off with a mild sulphate free shampoo and cold water.
4. Banana Bananas are great for improving manageability and shine to our hair. Because they are rich in natural oils, potassium, vitamins and carbohydrates, bananas help in softening our hair and protecting their natural elasticity. Moreover, they can also moisture our scalp, and prevent and control dandruff. (5)
Follow these simple steps to make a banana hair mask:
Step 1: Take a ripe banana and mash it in a bowl. Add two drops of lavender essential oil to it and mix it well.
Step 2: Now, apply the paste all over the hair starting from roots and working along the way to the ends. Let it sit for about half an hour.
Step 3: Take a shower cap and cover your hair with it for 20 minutes.
Step 4: Rinse it off with cold water before applying a good conditioner.
5. Apple Cider Vinegar Apple Cider Vinegar is easily available in almost every supermarket today. It is proven to be very effective in balancing the pH level of your scalp. A scalp with a balanced pH level results in luscious, shiny and smooth hair. Apple cider vinegar plays a vital role in cleansing your hair without the use of harsh chemicals. (6)
Here’s how you prepare a hair mask using apple cider vinegar.
Step 1: Mix two cups of apple cider vinegar and one cup of water in a bowl. Set this solution aside.
Step 2: After shampooing and conditioning your hair like you normally do, rinse your hair with the prepared apple cider vinegar.
Step 3: using a shower cap, keep the solution contained for at least 15 minutes.
Step 4: Later, allow the hair to air dry naturally.

Hair is one of the most beautiful and treasured assets of our body. Gleaning and shiny hair is every person’s dream. However, caring for hair is another ball game all together, it not only a little difficult to maintain but can also be time consuming and a lot of hassle.
Everyone needs to understand that haircare should not be a one time thing but a part of regular lifestyle if someone wants to have healthy and smooth hair. It is especially important for people who have hereditary issues with hair fall or problems around early whitening. These are a few ways by 3MEDS, best online pharmacy in India so that you have long healthy and smooth hair:
1. Understand you hair type
Whether you hair is fine curly, coiled, straight or fine, it is the way your hair texture is and it is the way it should remain. To better hair of better quality it is first and foremost important to recognize your hair texture and type and using treatments accordingly. These hair types are:
• Type 1 – Straight hair
• Type 2 – Wavy hair
• Type 3 – Curly hair
• Type 4 – Coily hair
This is further divided into types A, B, C. The type of hair profile determines how you should treat your hair.
2. Moisture your hair
We bare think about moisturization when it comes to hair. Just like our skin our hair needs to be moisturized so does our hair. The sebum in the hair does manage the strands of hair but sometimes especially in dry climate or curly hair type the sebaceous glands are at times not enough. In this case you have to resort to conditioners or hair masks in order to take care of the hair. This takes care of the hair makes smother and shine and much more easy to brush.
3. Wash your hair at regular intervals
Washing your hair and keeping it clean with shampoo and water is of utmost importance. Doing this at regular intervals will ensure that your hair remains clean and free from fungal infections or dandruff. For people with dry or frizzy hair it is essential that you use to a paraben and sulphate free shampoo.
4. Stop using excessively hot water on your hair
Hot water can be damaging to the hair and hair follicles. Using scalding hot water to wash hair rinses the hair of essential oils and moisture from the hair. Use Luke warm water to wash hair.
5. Avoid product build up on the hair
Washing hair is not only essential for getting off dust and pollution, washing hair is also important so that products like dry shampoo ,instant hair dye, oils, hair used for styling is properly rinsed off the hair. These products sometimes had harmful chemicals which when left in the hair for a long time can detonate hair quality.
6. Style your hair sparingly
Styling your hair is essential but over styling can make the hair dry and frizzy. Especially hair straighteners and curlers which are used to manipulate hair texture with heat and steam can damage the hair and make is dry and frizzy, this us also an easy way to induce hair fall.
7. Do not pull on the hair
Sometimes we may not use hair styling products or even curling irons but may prefer simple hairstyles Like high ponytails or buns which are tightly held together. These hairstyles are too taut and tightly held and is sure to lead to hair fall.
8. Diet
A good and balanced diet filled with leafy greens and vegetables, always helps to maintain a nutritious level that is good for the hair. This helps not only to repair hair but also helps with growth and vivacity. A good nutrition also helps keratin development on the hair.
9. Exercise
Exercise helps in hair growth and by replenishing the body with blood circulation and oxygen flow. This free flow of blood also helps with circulation around the scalp which helps hair growth.
10. Stress
Stress is a major reason for hair loss. Hair follicles go into a resting phase and don’t end up developing any more hair strands.
These are a few ways you can get your hair back on track, sometimes for excessive loss of hair visit a dermatologist and for 24/7 delivery of all your medicines visit 3MEDS.
