I don't usually care about the boxes my toys come in, but man this is a nice display. None of the plastic bits are glued down, so it's really easy to remove everything without damage, leaving a really nice backdrop/mini playset. It's very functional, but also just pretty imo. I like it.

I've mentioned this before, but I'm also still really amused at the (unintentionally?) implied AU here. Being that these glass windows are in Celetia's castle, and with Discord sitting on his throne, it sorta implies he's taken it over, and is still evil. So with Fluttershy beside his throne, being added to his stained glass window in the back? It's like she's joined him instead of defeating him, and they're ruling together.

It's kinda funny. Makes me wanna give her her own little throne lmao.

It was not one of my childhood cartoons, but I remember being vaguely aware of its existence as a child (toys mostly, the new series was released when I was older and hard to find on french channels). I only recently (3-4 years) learned of its popularity, for better or worse.

So yeah, never watched the series, but I've heard songs from one of the movies (?) and they were really cool!

I have no idea who this is or what she does in the story aside from being evil (?) but she sure can sing, has a tragic backstory and killer clothes. That's good enough for me.

i have a pretty big announcement to make! as some of you may know, my home situation has been SUPER unsteady for a good while now; the worst of it was back in january, when my parents gave me a month to find somewhere else to live with no warning, when i was very sick and struggling to survive. since then, i've been living with a stranger while i worked to build up my savings for an apartment.

and...well, we (my brother and i) finally got the apartment (not only that, but our dream apartment)! a MASSIVE thank you to everyone that donated to my ko-fi page and shared it around; in total, i made about $560 through donations alone, and i was able to save up the remainder of deposits on my own with a pretty big chunk of savings left over!

moving day is this saturday, the 13th! it's going to take some time while i get settled though, so i'll likely not be drawing for a little while, or at least not really posting the drawings that i do make since they won't be finished drawings.

seriously, thank you all SO much for getting us to the point where we can get this apartment. i genuinely would not have made it this far without everyone's support - i likely wouldn't have made it past january.
