It has now been 12 hours after I watched it and I have finally made up my mind that I am underwhelmed by the Ted Lasso finale. (spoilers and typos in the tags)

I've been looking at ideas for apartment layout and I do not enjoy looking at pristine desks with almost nothing on them except the computer and some glass jars. (only writers get an exception from my complaint about this and still only the ones that keep all their notes digitally). what are people doing there???? where is the desk burdened with materials? where is all the stuff you use when you sit down and create things? I'm not expecting a mess here; it's not hard to nicely arrange a lot of stuff. But these pics are too empty. They're not useful to me as interior design inspiration because they couldn't handle more stuff. too delicate. Another terrible variant is the pristine house full of kitschy crap on every free surface. Same problem as the empty case but now the design is overburdened already. No room to live there unless you want to push aside the faux-aged books and the fake heirloom things on the shelfs (that have nothing practical on them). I cannot stand it when the entirety of pointless home design demands being filled with garbage as a sad attempt to hide how useless the house itself is to anyone that lives there. (this is extremely common in cookie-cutter houses in suburban wastelands like Las Vegas) I request more cozy lived-in small spaces inspiration. With books and stacks of papers and that little pile of computer dongles and your headphones and doodads that collect on top of the books you're trying to read and over on the sofa there's a few blankets and your nintendo switch and another pair of headphones and on the side table is a half-put away board game and on the coffee table is some craft stuff you were working on while watching The Terror.

btw the way that i find "new" music that i like is so embarrassing sometimes. i'll be listening to a song surprised that i actually like it and it's by one of the first bands people think of when they think of the genre because of just how popular it got among people who enjoy that kind of music and i am, in fact, a person who enjoys that kind of music
