tags from @swtorpadawan I’m sure I will give him one eventually! :D as of right now he doesn’t have one, but anyone who’s been here since the very start will know of my dirty (affectionate) habit of getting way too attached to objectively “background” NPCs that have <10 lines so watch this time next year and he’ll have a name and a full backstory and a whole ass family. I’m calling it lol

I said I would talk a bit about whenever I find Aria picking the Light-side option over the Dark-side options, so coming at you with another headcanon post! This one is less of a surprise to me, but it’s still interesting enough to make a talk-y post about so here we go: this Imperial scientist…medic..whatever guy, on Hoth. The Light-side option is to heal him and let him run off, Dark-side option is to let him die of hypothermia. Of course, in this instance, Aria picks the LS option. Not necessarily out of the goodness of her heart but purely because she is, after all, a sleeper agent and she understands that letting this guy die means one less medic for the Imperials. Therefore, healing him up and letting him go is a no-brainer for her. Also as far as the scientist guy goes, from the Consular storyline. I do headcanon that she lets him live for the same reason, although he never actually gets to the Republic as a prisoner of war, as instead Aria’s father sends someone to “intercept” the soldiers taking him prisoner so he is returned to the Empire to work under her father; because again…why kill him, or risk letting him go to the Republic where he can squeal about the Empire’s secrets to the Republic/the Jedi when Noctis can just as easily send another Sith (possibly Vano, but not sure on the timeline and how that would line up. So it might be Vano in the final draft or it might end up being some other rando depending on how that works out as I get to writing that part lol) to pick him up and ensure none of this gets to their enemies ;)

There’s quite a few points in the Consular story where it’s honestly really hard for me to determine what Aria would do, and sometimes the answer is a WEIRD one. This bit on Taris is one of ‘em.
So, you’re offered a choice between saving this woman, Laria (Light-side) and saving the Jedi holocrons with a bunch of medical data that could save “thousands” of lives - supposedly (Dark-side). I always thought Aria would be the “pick to save the holocrons” gal but strangely enough after agonising on the decision for a few minutes....I ended up concluding she’d save Laria. NOT out of the goodness of her heart though (sorry Laria, I like you pfft🤣) but rather because, well...on one hand, Darth Noctis (her father) would certainly have interest/be invested in getting his hands on those holocrons full of information he might be able to eventually use to his advantage. But on the other...letting the holocrons explode means the Jedi don’t have access to them either. Considering Aria’s whole schtick is “sabotage the Jedi from the inside out so that by the time we hit Tython at the end it’s almost a clean sweep” I feel like objectively it makes sense for her to “choose” Laria over the holocrons in this instance.
It’ll be really interesting from my perspective to see where else in this story she ends up choosing the “Light-sided” dialogue options except in Subterfugeverse canon it will be entirely for fucked up and selfish reasons so, you know, objectively it is NOT a light-side choice at all for that reason. 🤣😛

Strikhedonia - The pleasure of being able to say “to hell with it”. for an oc/pairing that you think would best suit the prompt - KH💙 (p.s. sorry for accidentally unfollowing you when trying to click on the 'ask' button 🤪)
(no worries and likewise I am SO SO SORRY that this took me two years to finish up I am horrified by that 😭🥺 I had a l o t of fun with this one even if it took me 5ever to transfer it from script to actual Prose so I hope it’s worth the wait and y’all enjoy!! <3) A/N:
This one is set just after > Kiss With A Fist <  so if you’re new and/or you don’t remember the kiss they’re arguing about, it’s in that oneshot! :D
Strikhedonia - noun. The pleasure of being able to say “to hell with it”. This one came from the “obscure word/definition” ask game a while back. Sadly far back enough that I do not have the link but ANYWAY its finally here yaaas!! The alternative title for this one is “How much Unresolved Sexual Tension can I fit into one Oneshot?” and the answer, I am happy to report, is “Yes”. XD
Wai Tarar = the official title/rank term for the Ahaszaai royals’ personal bodyguards, each Ahaszaai has a minimum of one, but more commonly between 2-3 ESPECIALLY for the current ruling Emperor(ess) and/or their heir(ess) ;)  It’s literally just High Sith for “Royal Protector” but it sounds so much more fancy in High Sith xP
Falling in love with your bodyguard is a little less scandalous when your father happens to think he Has Very Nice Genes, Actually, and This Could Work In Our Favour so "You know what, go ahead" XD in case anyone is wondering WHY Vastas doesn't care. Kissai's got Massassi blood in his line, and Grampy Ahaszaai thinks it'd be neat to get a little of that in the future grandkids 😉
No specific warnings for this one. Just two idiots very obviously in love, and - oh my god she’s done denying it? D’leah’s not playing hard to get anymore?? /lh XD You can also read on > AO3 < if you’d prefer the formatting there! :D
_______________________________________________________________
D'leah had been rather surprised to catch the eye of her Wai Tarar across the sea of other Sith Lords and Darths, decked out to their nines in glitz and glamour in the manner she would have well expected of the High Sith families that associated with her father. Of course, it was not a problem that he had come, as her principle protector it was almost certainly…encouraged that Kissai attend in order to stand guard for the Ahaszaai line during the festivities, he would not be the only Wai Tarar in the crowd. But the Sith heiress simply couldn't shake the realization that Kissai was not in his red armour, this time, but rather a suit of the more formal kind. It couldn't be….that he was here for her, surely?
On an impulse, she caught his eye as she wove her way through the crowd and headed for the nearby balcony, the cool night breeze stirring her cheeks as she stepped out of the stuffy palace ballroom. Leaning against the balustrade, she exhaled softly and waited, listening to the lilting notes of the classical music that drifted towards her through the open balcony door. Before long, the sound of carefully measured footfalls reached the heiress' ears, and she calmly turned to face him. She had nothing to fear from this man, she knew that much.
"Dance with me, my Lord?" He inquired, eyes bright with hope as he held a hand out towards her. The heiress' gaze lingered on his outstretched palm for a fraction too long, before finally darting up to meet his, the tips of her jaw spurs trembling. He cleaned up remarkably well, for a commoner…
Somehow, the fact that he had waited until she had beckoned him outside, away from the prying eyes of every kriffing Sith aristocrat in the Empire, to ask for her hand at all only made it *worse* for her. Damn it, his sister's right. You've got it BAD, D'leah.
Besides, nobody would see them out here, so what harm would one dance do? If he cared half as much as she liked to pretend that he did, D'leah knew her father would never have let her leave the palace with her guard in tow - Emperor Ahaszaai had eyes everywhere, and someone watching out for her at all times.
So, the heiress slid her hand delicately into his, the corners of her mouth twitching upwards into a faint half smirk as she purred teasingly. "You have nice manners, for an Outskirter~"
The taller Pureblood scoffed softly as she stepped into his grasp, his fangs flashing in a grin. "Last I checked, my Lord, your father was quite enamoured with my manners."
D'leah raised a browstalk in surprise. "Enamoured", huh? He'd taken to using a lot of big words around her of late…he really was trying to impress her, she was sure of it.
"I can't imagine why he would think that." She smirked back at him, bringing her other hand to rest on his shoulder, though she did have to pivot onto her toes ever so slightly. He was so tall...
They fell into a steady and well-balanced set of steps in time with the tempo of the music from the ballroom, and Kissai guided her into a twirl, humming softly under his breath. "Hmm. You know what I think?"
D'leah made a curious, prompting noise in the back of her throat, her breath almost catching when he effortlessly caught her out of the spin and dipped her down in time with the swell of the music. His hand was warm against the small of her back, even through the fabric of her evening gown, "you like it." the taller Pureblood breathed, a hint of a query to his tone still.
Kissai was right, she knew he was. But the Sith heiress wasn't quite ready to admit it just yet. She wanted him to work for it. She chuckled as nonchalantly as she could manage, allowing him to pull her upright and sweep her into the next set of steps. "Well, I think you’re a fool who is wholly overconfident in himself~"
The taller Pureblood's fangs flashed in a grin, and without thinking about it, he retorted cheekily. "That makes two of us, then, doesn't it, my Lord?"
The realisation dawned on his face as D'leah's arm snapped taut with the next step she took, the heiress' eyes fixing on him as she hissed sharply.
"And you have grown over comfortable being so casual with me, Izreni." It should have been a warning, and on her first reflex D'leah had meant for it to be one, but when the words actually came out of her mouth they sounded far more like a returning quip than she had intended. The Wai Tarar scoffed, indignant, and raised a browstalk at her as he protested: "You kissed me. If you wished for me to leave you alone, my Lord, you've done a very poor job in telling me so."
“I did.” she nodded, squashing the urge to smirk as he blinked at her in utter surprise that she had admitted to it, like a gizka caught in the headlights. D’leah drew in another deep breath to keep her composure, shutting her eyes for a moment as she reminded him, her voice far more amused than scathing. “And if I saw fit I could kill you where you stand for speaking to me that way.” “I know.” the Wai Tarar answered in much the same tone. She wasn’t quite sure how, but somehow their back-and-forth had deviated from their standard back-and-forth banter to become simply exchanges of facts they were both well aware of already. The heiress was losing, and she knew it. She shifted her weight onto the balls of her feet as they twirled again, and as she returned to his hold, he smirked and asked. “Then why are you out here with me, and not in there with the other High-born brats, my Lord?”
The Ahaszaai heiress opened her eyes to meet his gaze once more, willing her heart to stop skipping violently against her ribcage when she did. “They bore me.” she admitted at length, stepping closer to Kissai as the tempo of the music that floated out from the ballroom behind them began to slow. “You, on the other hand…” She felt his grip on her tighten, not by much, but enough that D’leah took note of it, and hummed wordlessly in response. It took a moment for the taller Sith’s brain to catch up with the rest of his senses, but when it did she watched the spurs against his jaw flex in anticipation. His voice grew husky as he muttered. “Darindz artsisasi ki, ctarzari…”
D’leah let out a sultry chuckle in retort. “Nu sarjia j’us kaisijas oi…”
His gaze flicked from hers, to the door behind them, reflexive panic written on his features clear as day. “What would your father say?” he floundered, as if forgetting he had just moments ago used an entirely contradictory argument when their dance had started. The Ahaszaai High Lady could no longer contain her own laughter, throwing her head back to cackle aloud and feeling the tips of his claws curl against her spine as she did so. “Do you believe he’d let his heiress wander off with any old vagabond who asked her for her arm? He knows exactly where I am.” D’leah raised a prompting browstalk at him. “If he didn’t like you, Izreni, he would not allow you anywhere near me.” much less anything else. And she knew that Kissai knew that just as well as she did.
“I see…” the Wai Tarar’s jaw spurs trembled, but still he daren’t move, nor had his hands travelled any lower in spite of her offering him an invitation to do so on a silver platter. Kissai was waiting for her to come to him. His self control was admirable, and oh so attractive....
Deciding to indulge him for the second time, the heiress stretched up on her toes to brush her lips ever so gently against his as she cooed softly. “Or are you scared, Kissai~?”
She felt, rather than heard, his breath hitch, and after a moment to compose himself he managed to get out the words, low enough that only D’leah would hear them. “Such thoughts are hardly proper in polite company, princess.”
“Ah, of course.” she grinned, a purr rumbling in her throat as she stepped out of his arms to take the taller Pureblood’s hand into hers instead. D’leah did not miss the low chuff of disappointment that he made as she moved away from him, but nonetheless released his grip on her obediently. Ever the gentleman, this one. As if to answer the unspoken question, the Ahaszaai heiress tugged on his hand, holding his gaze as she backed toward the balcony door to head back inside. “Come, let’s go inside. It’s getting cold out here.” To hell with it, doesn’t matter who sees us.
_______________________________________________________ High Sith translations: *canonically there is so little written about High Sith conlang that there aren't even proper contractions (like "I'm", "Don't" etc.) which is just...a huge oversight, to put it blankly. So I made my own contractions. At least it doesn’t sound like an unnecessarily and stupidly clunky language that way skhjslhdh
Darindz artsisasi ki, ctarzari…  - Don’t (from Dari “do” + nindz “not”) tease me, princess..
Nu sarjia j’us kaisijas oi…  - I thought you liked it...
That said, D’leah DOES on occasion not use contractions in Basic, particularly for things like “would not” (as in “would not allow you anywhere near me”) or “do not”. There’s no particular reason for this, she just decided it was a speech quirk of hers and keeps making me write it this way on occasion /lh 😜

Ranna Taoven!
From the [SWTOR NPC Headcanons Ask List]
This one's gonna be short and disappointing, I'm afraid! I...do not have anything for Ranna. Not because I don't like her but there's just genuinely nowhere that I can think (nor do I feel it would add anything even if I did "think" of something) to shove her into Subterfugeverse canon.
After Aria leaves Tython she doesn't really think about any of the NPCs there again, nor is she ever likely to run into them again. Even the new JK who I will undoubtedly make one day, isn't gonna be a major character to the point where I've considered anything she might contribute re: interacting with other NPCs. They're very much just background characters that are entirely unimportant and play no part in the wider story arc lmao

It’s extremely funny to me that I have so many screenshots of Saarai crossing her arms when she’s having holo-conversations with other characters in-game, since I headcanon that she’s a pretty outwardly-expressive person and this is absolutely something she would do XD

For the oc with the best story: TAKEN III - did your muse ever went through some bad illness?
from the [Uncomfortable Headcanon Asks], thank you for asking! :D
Tumblr media
TAKEN III - did your muse ever went through some bad illness?
I think Vano definitely takes the cake on this one with the carbonite sickness fiasco of KOTFE. If you asked her, she would say it was hell and she wouldn’t wish the experience on her worst enemy.
SO personally, I feel like the game lets you off way too easy with the whole carbonite sickness thing, and naturally I decided that Vano has a way worse time of it than you do in-game because....let’s at least try and seem realistic, SWTOR, my dude. XD -Pretty much the only reason she manages to get out of the Spire on her own two feet when Lana, T7, Koth and Saarai come to get her is a combination of adrenaline, a little bit of spite (no way was she letting Arcann & Vaylin throw her back in there!), and then Saarai all but carrying her the last stretch once her adrenaline crashed and she suddenly could barely hold herself upright anymore. Vano couldn’t really make the jump onto the shuttle and Saarai pretty much had to pick Vano up and throw her across the gap into the ship LMAO The carbonite left her reflexes slow and her muscles weak and she couldn’t quite tuck-and-roll enough to land in the ship where Rai had been aiming, so she hit the edge of the ramp and thank the Force HK is on hand to grab her and pull her up. (I mean, Saarai would have caught her if she fell but y’know hahaha)
-With some of Lana’s Force healing, she’s able to get to a state where she can think clearly & (mostly) function for herself, but Vano still remains fairly weak for the entirety of their escape, her fighting is sloppy and clumsy and her normally-sharp reflexes are slow and she just feels like she’s stumbling around a dark alleyway in Kaas City after having too much to drink. She’s nauseous and having trouble orienting herself and remembering saber forms, or just.... everything really.
-If it hadn’t been for Saarai (and Senya) arriving to help her and Lana when they’re ambushed in the Endless Swamps, Lana would have had a lot more than a busted hand to worry about and Vano may have ended up dead. She does her best to help them raise the Gravestone, but even Vano will admit that most of the credit for that should go to the other three Force users because she was “basically a walking corpse”.
-Things get better once they get her to a proper medbay and start proper treatments and get her strength back up enough to start sparring, meditating and reminding herself of all her “old” fighting techniques, but for a long time after she recovers, even on Odessen, Vano suffers from insomnia. She’s afraid to fall asleep because “what if she doesn’t wake up, or worse, what if she does and it’s just Valkorion and her, in her mind, for another five years, or ten, or forever”. With some coaxing from her wife, Aria, and the combined efforts of Aria, Lana and some of the other Alliance advisors to apply a bit of medical intervention they may have dropped some mild sedatives in her tea a few times when she was pushing the “you need to sleep or you’re probably gonna like, die” mark she eventually works through this :3

OC Worldbuilding Tag Pt 2!
...electric boogaloo! I’m sorry I know this joke is old now but I cannot help it, it’s ingrained in my brain XD
I got another tag for this from @a-master-procrastinator , thank you! :D
I think all my friends & mutuals have already been tagged for this one? But I’ll throw a couple out here if you want to, no pressure as always!: @mercurypilgrim , @actualanxiousswampwitch and @sleepswithvillains maybe?
Some more Saarai, because I love her. Some very slight spoilers for some of the differences in the Subterfugeverse plot points but nothing major! ;3 Long post warning again, as well as some brief mentions of Valkorion being a dick and causing a mass-genocide but all on the same level as the presented game canon.
Tumblr media
- Saarai is psychometric and has been since she was pretty young, a Force power she inherited from D’leah’s mother, Saa’thri, because it “skipped” D’leah and Saarai got it instead. Though she didn’t realise it at the time and it wasn’t until she brought it up to her mother and D’leah went “oh yeah, your grandma had that too :)” that she realised it was actually A Thing.
- She’s not always good at recognising when a vision is from the Psychometry and when it’s just “her imagination”, particularly when she’s younger (which gets her into some trouble, see: the whole Tsâhis thing). Even after she gets used to it, sometimes it still hits her out of nowhere and if it’s a particularly nasty vision she’ll sometimes lose her footing and hit the deck - thankfully, because of their Force bond, Ni’kasi can usually figure out what’s happening and react fast enough to catch her before she smacks her head on something.
- Nathema was...not fun for Saarai thanks to the Psychometry. She’d wanted to go with them to protect them and ended up having to be dragged back to the ship and wait there because the moment she tried to touch anything there the Force went “Oh hey!! would you like some Detailed Flashbacks About What Happened Here!!” and yeah...she did not have a good time. Going to Nathema was kind of a mistake for her. Woops. (She gets through it though, Lana gets her back to the ship and she gets a handle on things but definitely doesn’t go all the way into the facility with Vano and Lana. Probably a good thing, too, if she’d picked up that toy of Vaylin’s I think she would’ve found those visions quite upsetting to watch, too.)
- She and Lana don’t share a Force bond, only because she has one with her sister, Ni’kasi instead. Neither of the twins are exactly sure when it formed, but they’ve had the connection for as long as they can remember. When they’re separated while Saarai and Ty are on Rishii, it’s harder for them to communicate because of the distance between them and Kas putting up barriers “just in case” the Sith tried to interrogate her at any point, she didn’t want to give Saarai away. They knew enough to know the other twin was probably still alive, but not to know exactly what was going on with each other until they finally reunite with the first Coalition on Yavin IV. That was the final relief for the twins, actually getting to see the other one standing there and definitely very much alive, there were hugs and a lot of tears, absolutely. <3
- Saarai is very much a “reluctant leader”, she never wanted to be a figurehead in the Alliance nor did she want to be telling people what to do, but circumstances “forced” her into the role and she had to stumble around awkwardly and adapt. With Vano gone and stuck in carbonite, somone had to step up and make sure the people that were working with Vano stuck together and didn’t fall apart (Not all of Vano’s crew disperse, Broonmark, Pierce and Jaesa always remain with the Alliance. Quinn ends up in jail after the Quinncident and Vette goes missing during one of their attempts to search for Vano’s whereabouts only to reappear as in canon later ;)) With Marr dead and the rest of the Dark Council under Zakuul’s heel or missing, that left Lana, Ni’kasi and Aria as alternative “leadership” figures. Lana lacked the ambition for it and was more tooled to be an advisor and while both Ni’kasi and Aria are bossy enough to delegate tasks, they’re abrasive and people don’t like them. But they like Saarai and they listen to her. So everyone kinda went “Okay cool you’re in charge now :)” I’m sorry, Saarai, you’re symultaneously the most and least qualified for this job but you got it anyway :P She settles into it eventually, though, but will be the first one to adamantly insist that it’s a team effort between not only herself and Vano once they have her back, but Lana, Koth, Theron and all the other trusted members of the Alliance acting as advisors in their respective fields of interest.
- In Subterfugeverse, I headcanon that Vano and Saarai share the command of the Alliance once Vano returns. Vano has the Commander title and handles most of the battle tactics and strategy, whereas Saarai handles things like conflict resolution and public relations, as well as controlling the Eternal Fleet. Things work very differently in Subterfugeverse in terms of the Throne so I’ll try to keep it brief but essentially:
Valkorion “took over” the Sith Empire from the Ahaszaai, Saarai’s ancestors. It was a very hostile takeover and currently Saarai, Ni’kasi, Ty, eventually Ni’kasi’s kids, and their uncle Vowrawn are the only four Ahaszaai left in the entire galaxy.
While they didn’t technically have claim to the Zakuulan throne, the original Sith homeworld before Valkorion’s bullshit was Medriaas (which is canon, I’m just borrowing this part because it fits in nicely ;)), which became Nathema after Valkorion did his whole “planet eating” thing.
Vano is initially the only one who can control the Throne and the Fleet via the whole “Valkorion is in her head” loophole. However, that loophole becomes defunct once Valkorion gets yanked out of her mind since it was Valkorion that gave her the ability to control it in the first place.
I’m assuming for the sake of plot flow that it’s based upon two specific “checks” and that’s 1) direct blood ties to the Emperor(ess) in power and/or 2) said Emperor(ess) currently controlling the throne directly and willingly passing their authority over the throne to a successor - which is how Valkorion is able to give the Outlander/Vano control of the Fleet while he’s in her mind, even though she’s not blood related to him.
They’re able to, with some research, deduce that they can exploit this apparent loophole in the system, to avoid losing control of the Fleet entirely and risking any of the GEMINI droids turning into another SCORPIO; and Vano essentially rescinds control of the Throne/Fleet to Saarai, everyone (including Ni’kasi herself) agrees that Saarai is the responsible choice because she’s not going to get a bee in her bonnet and with an errant thought accidentally set the Eternal Fleet on the Jedi or something of the sort.
Since Saarai has direct blood ties to the original ruling Sith before Valkorion userped the title from them, and Vano willingly gave the Throne up to her, the Throne can’t throw a tantrum about it and just has to deal with it. XD
- Once they do manage to track down where Vano is, before Lana and Koth head to Zakuul to actually break her out, Lana comes to Saarai for help with that. Ni’kasi has to stay to watch Ty and also try and keep a tenuous line with the other Sith thanks to her position on the Dark Council, Aria’s too emotionally charged to think straight and Lana is rightfully worried she might make a mistake that puts the whole rescue mission in jeapordy, so they ask Saarai instead. It’s kind of awkward and she and Koth rub each other the wrong way at first, they bicker for two thirds of the entire trip there and Lana almost throws them both out of the airlock for it, but eventually do find a way to bury the hatchet before they actually arrive at Zakuul to rescue Vano.
- By the time they find the Gravestone, Saarai and Koth have made up and though they are not yet involved with eachother at that time, have both agreed that fighting over Lana is stupid and they can make this work without making things difficult for anyone else, so the whole interruption in the Gravestone’s cargo hold, for Subterfugeverse, is genuinely an accident. Saarai heads up to check on him afterwards and they have another amicable and productive conversation and end up growing a little closer. Their side of the relationship is a little slower to form, but they do eventually end up developing deeper feelings for each other, though it’s strictly non-sexual between Rai and Koth and they are both 100% happy and okay with that.

🖊 + Saarai pls? 💜
Tumblr media
Thank you for the ask @starlightjedi ! We’ll have one that’s sort of a headcanon and sort of backstory for the Zephyrverse AU, shall we! :D So, in Subterfugeverse I headcanon that most Purebloods can’t and don’t like swimming. Their bones are heavier (this is also part of what makes them such walking tanks :’3) and thus they sink easier than other species, so while they can swim most would rather avoid it as it’s not something they’re particularly “good” at.
Saarai, on the other hand, is different. She still has to put more effort into it, so she can’t stay in the water as long, it is something she enjoys doing from time to time and (since Sash is a Nautolan and Maite, being part-Nautolan) it’s an activity that she and Sash enjoy doing together, sometimes even with their daughter Maite as a family. ☺️

Headcanon: Old Sith Gods - Chirikyât
CW: possible body horror (WAY too many eyes), general creepy vibes,  do not click below the cut if sensitive to that theme!
Tumblr media
(Obligatory disclaimer that this post and its contents are MY personal headcanons for MY SWTOR world and by no means meant to be decreed as “the ONLY version”. If you don’t like them, that’s fine, go make your own then. Any attempts to stir the pot will result in liberal use of the block/blacklist function.)
Forgot to post this dude here when I finished him the other week!
Please DO NOT repost my art! It’s MY art, not yours!! (unless it was a gift/commission of your character, then you may ofc repost as you like as long as you credit me for the art)! Reblogs are always appreciated <333
You can view more (temp info is all that’s on there rn but this will be expanded when I have time!) info, including a better res of the image (so my writing may be easier to read), and design notes, on its toyhou.se >HERE<
My version of (one of) the Sith Gods. (”will you make more?”, yes, eventually. I need to do a LOT more reasearch on polytheism/polytheistic beliefs to ensure that I can represent such things properly & respectfully before I actively create any of the OTHERS, but it is somewhere in the near ish future!)
Some theme songs/ “Vibes”(w/ youtube links!) : The Yawning Grave - Lord Huron, Whisper - Burn The Ballroom, Lunatics and Slaves - Sin Shake Sin, Bones - Emily Finchum
Chirikyât (He/It) | Hssiss (technically...) | The patron god of House Ahaszaai. God of Battle (NOT War, this is an important distinction for later ;)) and Death.
I only gave it a semi-thumb bc honestly he’s fucking terrifying enough WITHOUT opposable thumbs, and I think giving opposable thumbs to a Force-eating Eldritch horror entity would be making it a bit TOO op XD
Further inspos that I couldn’t fit on the page bc my writing is Huge and I didn’t want the file to get too big JUST for writing djhdjdg:
Charon/The Ferryman (Greek mythology)
The Banshee (Irish mythology)
Mimics (D&D)
Seems to “draw in” Force energy, may or may not be a Derriphan... (unconfirmed, and he would never tell ;))
It doesn’t have an official/canon Voiceclaim yet, I’m still searching for one that fits (tm), but its voice echoes, and I imagine it to sound very...rough, like the kind of pitch you’d expect when you imagine “rusty nails on a chalkboard”.
Temp Bio/WIP Info:
Has a long-standing and VERY personal beef with Zildrogg & his worshippers (Zildrogg knows what he did /jk its a spoiler ;)) Bound to the ruling Ahaszaai monarch and/or their heir(ess), may only be commanded by them (however, WILL be tolerant of the monarch's family members/loved ones i.e. will not eat them on sight, just don't tell him what to do lol). Said to have blessed the Ahaszaai family with the gift of Psychometry, and their loyalty to him is what ensures another of their line "inherits" the gift.
If a member of the Ahaszaai is particularly responsive/receptive to his communication and actively interprets the Visions given, they may be bestowed the title of Rhak-skuri, the Dream-singer. Why dream singer? Due to the fact that Chirikyât can communicate with anyone it chooses, telepathically, while awake, but while it's sleeping, it seems to only be able to reach those who possess Psychometry; and often will reach out to them in their dreams. (Saarai did not sign up for this but here she is /lh)

From [Send Me A Headcanon & I’ll Tell You Which OC I Associate With It]
Thanks for asking, Pinky! :D
11. Gives nicknames to others
I haven’t made her in-game yet and idk if she’ll ever appear in Subterfugeverse, maybe as a small cameo, but this one would go to my Mando bounty hunter, Sho! She doesn’t tend to call people by their names at all - unless she’s very close to you and has reason to want to - she just assigns them arbitrary nicknames, for instance in the Zephyrverse RP she’s dating my friend’s Cathar Kingpin ex-Jedi, and instead of calling him by his name she calls him “Fluffy” (which he pretends to hate but also has not stopped her from doing so...she keeps doing it XD - Dmitri tends to get back at her by calling her “Blue” (cause her armour is blue ofc) so, y’know, it’s fine. That’s just...how their relationship works XD), and the other Twi’lek changeling girl they work with is “Stripes” because she has stripes etc.
Sho will basically assign you a dumb nickname the first moment she meets you and that’s it. That’s your name now LOL
16. Has a strong eyebrow game
Tumblr media
I’d probably say Qanarr, for this one? You can’t tell me Cathar don’t have big, fuzzy eyebrows, and dealing with Aria as often as she does you can bet she’s raising them a LOT hahaha
21. Is tol
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This one goes to both Saarai and her dad, Kissai (who she got most of her height from ofc!)
Kissai is about, either 6′7″ or 6′8″ I’ll have to check, but point is, way closer to 7ft than 6ft XD - but he’s got a decent concentration of Massassi blood so that’s why. Saarai’s a little shorter at 6′3″ (I would’ve made her even taller but poor Sash and Lana/Koth have neckache trying to kiss her already as it is XD) because she got a little more of mom’s “Pureblood” blood, but of all her siblings in all the verses, she easily got the most of dad’s Massassi genes so...she tol. Both of them have to duck to get through doorways...Kissai frequently hit his head if D’leah forgot to remind him to do so 🤣 🤣
22. Is smol
Tumblr media
Aria! Absolutely Aria, Tiny Angry Sith Bean. She’s only just 5′1″, she’s very, very smol and will resent you for the rest of your life if you dare point it out. Call her tiny at your own peril, she will take out your kneecaps 🤣

How did Aria get along with Nadia, who was clearly in a bad place when she becomes our companion?
Thank you for the ask @swtorpadawan :D
I think that one can be best described as: There Was An Attempt. Hahaha 🤣 She can relate to Nadia at the very least on a superficial level, she’s very close with her own father and she understands how Nadia’s feeling in that time, so she tries to be comforting etc. The problem is.... Aria is both terrible with children (though I guess Nadia’s more a teenager at that point? but still) and terrible at being comforting, at that point in her life in particular. Couple that together with Aria really not being invested in the Jedi doctrine as a whole and it’s not a greaaattt combination, but it could also be a lot worse. Aria can give Nadia a basic understanding of the Force and how it works, but their moral compasses clash so much that even though she never hurts Nadia, she’s definitely not able to cultivate as close a Master-Apprentice bond with her as she should have because other than Aria being empathetic towards Nadia losing her father, they don’t really have any other “common ground” to connect on qwq
Some minor Subterfugeverse spoilers below the cut so don’t click through if you don’t want those! ^^
I have it in my head that they leave Nadia with Aria so long not because the Jedi think she’s actually going to teach her anything worthwhile (and actually they are, in fact, watching them like hawks the entire time which doesn’t help Aria feel any less uhh, “trapped”, shall we say 😬) but rather that Aria was the one who “rescued” her so to speak, so Nadia felt most familiar with her and they were worried throwing her into an unfamiliar environment would make her already unstable/untrained powers even worse. So they kept a close watch on them basically until they had more solid proof that it was for Nadia’s own good to separate them.
Of course, later on down the line (still flip-flopping between whether it happens on Ilum or during the Assault on Tython flashpoint sort of time, I need to put my thinking cap on there XD) when it’s revealed that Aria’s been a Sith the entire time, Nadia, Iresso and Zenith in particular don’t take the news very well and they cut contact with Aria after that, for good.
I still have to work out where they go afterwards, I have yet to pin down a LS! Consular character that stays alive for their verse, but it’s very likely that those three, once they peel off from Aria’s crew, will get re-assigned to said other Consular whom Nadia gets on a lot better with ^^

Translation: “This bitch shady af, lemme eat her!”
What I love the most about this interaction is that Khem very clearly could either rip her hand off or impale her for slapping him like some sort of disobedient child.
But he doesn’t. He just stands there and looks mildly shocked/offended that she had the nerve to smack him.
I headcanon that this is the point where Khem’s “tolerance” of Kas became “actually, you know, you might not suck and I might like you a little bit.” cause I doubt many Sith (considering even Harkun was afraid of Khem) would be brave enough to square up with a Dashade like him, much less literally hit him when he did something they didn’t like.
It’ll take them a while longer of travelling together (I estimate around Tatooine) for them to finally consider each other “friends” per se, but it’s progress!

4 and 12 for Saarai? 💗
Thank you for the asks, @palepinkycat ! :’D
Tumblr media
(*shakes this BEAUTIFUL art from @ berriku around some more because I love it so much AAAHH!!)
4. What would be the best present to give your OC? Who would most likely be the one to give it to them? What is their reaction to receiving it?
Ohh! Saarai is actually the type of person who, while she likes giving gifts to people, she’s really not used to receiving them very often. So, it really doesn’t have to be a “big” gift at all, it can just be any old little thing, for a reason as simple as “I saw it and it made me think of you so here” and she’ll be very much flattered. In terms of people she’s most likely to accept gifts from, she’s too cautious to take anything from a stranger, so it would have to be a friend or family member or else she’d be much more suspicious (but still polite!) Often a lot of her gifts tend to come from her son Ty, or her partners, Lana and Koth <3 (or Sash, in the Zephyrverse!)
12. If your OC is sad, what never fails to cheer them up? Cute pictures? A sweet treat? A hug?
Most of the time, hugs! Rai loves hugs, she’s very tactile and cuddly on an everyday sort of basis anyways (sometimes so much that it becomes a bit much for poor Lana, who I headcanon is not necessarily averse to cuddling, but just...not as much as Saarai XD), but this is even more true when she’s upset, even if you don’t say anything to her, just letting her cuddle with you is more than enough - unless you’re the person she’s mad at, in which case she probably doesn’t want you to touch her at that particular moment and she’ll go find someone else to hug, or go for a solitary walk/run until she’s calmed down enough to not want to get into an argument when she looks at you.

☾, ☆, ♡ for Saarai and Aria 💕
Thank you for the asks, @elvhenyoung ! :D
From this headcanon ask meme, here: [x]
☾ - a sleep headcanon
because I feel like I talk a lot about the OT3 and not half as much about Rai and Sash, have a Zephyrverse answer for this one!
Rai’s a cuddler, even in her sleep, when they’re sharing a bed it usually takes some arm gymnastics because Sash is so much shorter, but it usually ends with her tucked against Rai’s chest somehow with Rai’s chin on her shoulder or her head. But that’s a-okay, Sash likes it and actually she will NOT go to sleep if Rai’s not there holding her so it’s a win-win situation for them <3
Aria has night terrors relating to her Sith training and her trials (*cough*murdering her mother *cough cough*) so she actually has pretty bad insomnia and struggles to sleep most of the time, though it’s easier if Vano’s in the room or right next to her, as Vano can kind of project some calming vibes through their Force bond and stop her unconscious brain from deliberately dredging up the bad memories.
☆ - a happy headcanon When Saarai’s happy, trust me, you’ll know it. Why? She purrs. It’s not quite the same as a cat purr, it’s a little more guttural, and how loud it gets depends on a) exactly how happy she is, b) what she’s happy about, and/or c) who she’s with. Sometimes it’s barely audible unless you have your head on her shoulder/chest and can feel the vibration, sometimes it’s loud enough to rival a freighter engine. It scared the crap out of Koth the first time he heard it and he jumped so bad he actually threw a datapad at her head by accident because he wasn’t expecting the sound to come out of her and he mistook it for a growl. XD
Aria may seem like a difficult person to keep happy, but that’s actually not the case. Just take her to a cantina and buy her a drink and boom: happy tiny Sith who’s less angry for a little bit hahaha
♡  - a romantic headcanon
Rai’s quite the hopeless romantic and she tends to fall in love fairly easily and quickly, which can be both fortunate or unfortunate depending on how you look at it and/or a prospective partner’s tendency to get jealous. She’s got a lot of love to give and she won’t pick “favourites” if that happens to include more than one person, like Lana and Koth in Subterfugeverse. (though Sash is easily jealous so in the Zephyrverse she tends more towards staying loyal to her so as to not make Sash uncomfortable :3)
Aria’s not a particularly “vocal” romantic, she’ll use pet names like “babe” on occasion, but otherwise she doesn’t tend to say “I love you” out loud very often (unless Vano says it first, she’ll say it back then), instead her love language tends to be a lot more subtle and usually focused around being there for her partner and/or doing little things for Vano like making sure she remembers to eat something at the right times, getting back in contact with her brother so they can finally reunite once the Alliance takes off,  or tuning her saber for her if Vano’s too busy, etc.
