the way i understand it is dan tries to eat vegan but isn’t really the strictest on it and phil is definitely not vegan but he is lactose intolerant so that’s why he has oat milk! it’s like im the second mukbang dan took a bite of phils pizza even tho it definitely wasn’t vegan and im pretty sure the pizza dan had was only vegetarian! also in the mug cake baking video they used cows milk, so it’s definitely a “we try our best until we can’t” kinda situation
ty, that makes sense! i guess they're like vegan flexitarians. phlexitarians if you will

ponzu noodles (low-ish spoons)
this recipe is super easy and flavorful; my sister showed it to me and i’ve been obsessed ever since. only takes a few minutes and you get to tear up nori which is fun and satisfying :)
ingredients
rice noodles
sheet of nori
ponzu sauce (sometimes sold as ponzu citrus)
sesame oil
sesame seeds (optional)
anything else you want to add! (i like bell peppers; green onions also work very well; i even made this with strawberries once and it was good)
steps
cook the rice noodles
while they’re cooking, tear up your nori sheet into pieces of whatever size your heart desires
drain your noodles and put them in a bowl. throw in your nori and any vegetables and mix them in if you want
pour a generous amount of ponzu onto your noodles and toppings; rice noodles are absorbant so don’t be afraid to put on a lot if you want more flavor
a touch of sesame oil on top; a little bit goes a long way. you can also put sesame seeds on top as a garnish
additional note: it works really well as both a hot and cold dish, which also means you don't have to reheat leftovers!

Zucchini Bread
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 55 minutes
Total Time: 3 hours
Yield: 1 loaf
This zucchini bread recipe yields 1 9×5-inch loaf. With brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, and a little applesauce for added moisture, the quick bread is flavorful, moist, and a great way to use summer’s favorite vegetable!
Ingredients
1 and 3/4 cups (220g) all-purpose flour (spooned & leveled)
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 and 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 cup (120ml) vegetable oil (or melted coconut oil)
1/2 cup (100g) packed light or dark brown sugar
1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar
2 large eggs, at room temperature
1/4 cup (60g) unsweetened applesauce (or sour cream or Greek yogurt)
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
1 and 1/2 cups (180g) shredded zucchini (no need to blot)
optional: 1 cup (180g) semi-sweet chocolate chips (or chopped nuts, raisins, etc)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan. See notes for muffins.
Whisk the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg together in a large bowl until thoroughly combined. Set aside. In a medium bowl, whisk the oil, brown sugar, granulated sugar, eggs, applesauce, and vanilla together until combined. Whisk in the zucchini. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Gently stir or whisk until *just* combined; do not overmix. Fold in any optional add-ins like chocolate chips or nuts. Batter is slightly thick.
Spread the batter evenly into prepared loaf pan. Bake for 55-70 minutes. (I like to loosely cover the bread with aluminum foil halfway through to prevent heavy browning on top.) Baking times vary so keep an eye on yours. The bread is done when a toothpick inserted in the center comes out *mostly* clean with zero raw batter. Remove the bread from the oven and set on a wire rack. Cool in pan for 1 hour before removing from pan. You can slice the bread at this point, but it will still be warm in the center and may not slice neatly. For neat slices, continue cooling bread directly on a wire rack and then slice once cooled.
Cover and store leftover bread at room temperature for up to 3-4 days or in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.

Because I don't have enough to do, I'm thinking of how neat a project a Locked Tomb cookbook from the fandom would be. The easiest would be to make it exclusively soup, but we're a clever bunch, I bet we could put together some of the other things that come up. It wouldn't be official, of course, but idk seems fun since a lot of folks made soup on 9/9.

Sigeumchi-Namul/Korean-seasoned Spinach is so damn good and I really need to just start making some and leaving it in the fridge to eat through the week, cause it's so low-spoon and keeps well and is delicious cold~
Just blanch some spinach (boil for 30s-1m minutes then rinse in ice cold water or run under cold water tap), press the excess water out of it (either squeeze it with your hands or find some good weight to press it with. I'm thinking leave the spinch in a strainer in the sink and put a glass bowl full of water on top of it but i haven't tried yet). You might want to bunch it into a cube and chop it a few times (the amount of chops depending on how big a batch you've cooked).
Then season it with soy sauce (or coconut aminos and maybe add salt if soy-free), toasted sesame oil, toasted sesame seeds, minced garlic, chopped green onion, and, optionally, add some gochugaru (Korean red pepper flakes) or silgochu (shredded Korean red pepper) if you want some heat. Even regular black pepper is good in it if you don't like the spicy pepper heat.
I haven't tried, but it probably works well with frozen spinach too, just thaw it according to directions and then season as above. Probably takes longer to thaw than cook, but easier on clean up that way.
The amount of seasoning will depend on how big a batch you make, but start low then add more. Sesame oil is strongly flavored so start with a tsp. Maybe about .25 more soy sauce than sesame oil, but your taste will vary. It should taste nutty from the sesame oil and a bit salty.

Thanks OP i needed this
I think it should take longer to make tv shows and movies. I think shooting days should be shorter. I think AD's lives should be longer. I think we shouldn't have to be in a goddamn rush all the time. I think we should have the time it takes to make good art. I think fans should wait even longer than they do and be happy that everyone who made the art is getting full nights of sleep.
