Due to Ao3 servers still being down, we thought it would be best to postpone the rest of the event until it's back up. As this is how most writers like to share their creations it feels unfair to continue without the site.

We'll make another announcement when things seem to have stabilised and will pick up from Day 3 (and any stragglers from Day 2) then.

How do I share my Sub!Cody Week Creations?

There are two main ways to share you work!

You can post to your tumblr and @ us so we can share it to the main blog and we have an Ao3 collection that accepts all kinds of fanworks.

You can of course post to both tumblr and Ao3, and to anywhere else you'd like, but these are the two places we'll be promoting!

How to post to AO3!

You've never had to do it before and you're wondering how it works? Rest easy, we have a tutorial for you under the cut!

If you want to post your work into a collection on AO3, you have two options:

Adding your work to the collection from the New Work page:

When you create a new work, once you've added your ratings, warning, tags, title and summary, you have the possibility to "Post to a collection or challenge". In this box, add SubCodyWeek2023, just like you would add tags. Usually, collections can be found in the autopopulated suggestions (much like tags), but wranglers might not have added our collection yet, so just type it and press enter.

If you want, you can even add your work to multiple collections, i.e. the SubCodyWeek2023 collection and another of your choice (an anonymous collection, a collection from a bingo... whichever you want).

Adding your work directly from the Collection Page:

If you go to the collection dashboard and click on Post to Collection, you will be redirected to the New Work page with SubCodyWeek2023 already added in the collection box 🎉It's a cool feature if you don't already have a draft! If you already have a draft, you can still edit it and use option 1, adding in the collection manually (like you would tags).

I hope this will help make things clearer. Naturally if something doesn't work out (it can happen sometimes), don't hesitate to send us an ask or even message; we can also invite works to be part of our collection!
