I have been tagged twice to share my last line! Since I got two tags I'm gonna do two stories:
Untitled Two Heartbeats Sequel:
“She is so fluffy!” [Su-hyun] squeals in delight. She doesn’t even seem to notice that Puff’s missing an eye and one of her ears is torn up. All she sees is a cute, fluffy cat, and Jordan loves her for it.
Untitled thing about Christian and Livia:
“Spill," [Livia says]. A kink event? Christian? The guy was always shying away from anything Livia said even close to flirting, probably asexual as all get-out, and he was going to a basement kink event? Bullshit.
tagging ummm @theoddcryptid @the-golden-comet @willtheweaver @oh-no-another-idea @space-writes to share their most recent line/s!

Give me your romance drama recs / drama update
I’m in the mood for a romance drama but am kind of stumped on what I should watch, so PLEASE GIVE ME YOUR RECS! It can be kdrama, jdrama, cdrama (just maybe not contemporary cdrama since those really aren’t my bag), whatever. Or even a period English piece. I’m watching Do You Like Brahms? and really enjoying that so I wouldn’t mind something similar. Of course, I am also down for something more adult/steamy. Dysfunction is fine but it needs to have a happy ending. I guess I’m feeling kind of sappy. The key is that I want to swoon/feel those butterflies.
To kind of give you an idea of what I’ve watched/am watching:
Currently Watching
Do You Like Brahms? - LOVE LOVE LOVE. Slice of life and sweet romance done right. When Song Ah and Joon Young smile at each other, I smile along with them. Adorable and sweet without being twee. An undercurrent of melancholy without being morose/a kill joy.
My Beautiful Bride - I’m loving this and highly recommend it for anyone who likes thrills, action, and a HOT male lead single-mindedly devoted to his otp, who will go to the ends of the earth to be with her. He literally lives only to make his otp happy. While his love for her is what drives the plot of the story, this isn’t necessarily a romance drama. I mean, sure, I swoon and my heart flutters when I see him beat a group of gangsters to a bloody pulp with nothing but his fists and a key. And trust me when I say my hormones rage like crazy whenever he’s onscreen. But I’m looking for a more ordinary kind of love story to add to my roster of dramas. My Beautiful Bride is like two straight shots of the strongest whiskey in a shady dive bar - it’s intense, exciting, and totally gets me amped up. However, sometimes I need a break from the Johnnie Walker and slight sense of danger and want a nice, soothing, cup of warm tea instead.
Cruel City/Heartless City - So I know I just said I needed to mellow out my current watch list but I just LOVE this drama. It’s got a great otp but again, its main focus is not romance. Although, it does have one of the hottest kiss scenes in recent years. If you thought Jung Kyung Ho was nothing but a lanky, beta, weenie, this drama will totally change your mind. Plus, this is a re-watch so I don’t have to pay attention to everything.
Finished
Flower of Evil - I fully expected to not like this drama before it started because of the terribly misleading promos. The only reason I checked it out was because I liked Moon Chae Won and Lee Jun Ki. And boy am I glad I did! I love me a devoted otp who also stop to take the time to make out. The way Ji Won saved Hyun Su by just being herself and loving him and the way Hyun Su devotes his entire life to taking care of Ji Won and being a good husband to her - *chef’s kiss*. OH, also, Kim Ji Hoon’s glorious long hair.
My Unfamiliar Family - I don’t usually watch family dramas, but this was a nice little surprise. The romance was sweet. The healing family trauma aspect was heartwarming and done very well. Not overwrought at all. Some of the red herrings/misleading endings threw me a loop but overall, I enjoyed how they resolved the misunderstandings and conflict. The re-discovery of love between the parents was nice to watch. Really easy and enjoyable watch with a great slowburn friends to lovers pairing. I identified with the female lead a bit too much sometimes heh. Fun fact: The actor playing the dad also played the king in The King and the Clown who was obsessed with Lee Jun Ki’s character.
Dropped
When I Was the Most Beautiful / When I Was the Prettiest - This drama was so disappointing, it kind of upset me to be honest. The first two episodes started off so promising. My early 2000s dysfunctional jdrama with questionable teacher/student relationships loving ass thought I was finally getting a return to the good ol’ days (before anyone says anything, no, I do not condone teacher/student relationships in real life). I mean, they had Ji Soo, the king of playing high school students with impossible one-sided crushes who you want to root for, playing a high school student with a one-sided crush on his art student-teacher. We also had renowned hottie Ha Suk Jin playing his older brother and Im Soo Hyang playing the woman in between the two hot brothers. It had all the makings of a wonderful throwback to the old school dramas. But instead, we got stuck with whatever the hell this drama is. Anyway, disappointing!
The Merchant: Gaekju - I love Jang Hyuk. I love sageuks. I love Jang Hyuk in sageuks. But this story just wasn’t working for me and there was not enough shirtless Jang Hyuk to keep my attention.
Kinda Watching On/Off
Me Too, Flower! - An old drama that I randomly picked up because I wanted to watch something with Yoon Shi Yoon. I am only watching this because of the Yoon Shi Yoon-Lee Ji Ah pairing because frankly, the rest of the drama kinda bores me. Something I put on after work when I don’t want to be too involved/don’t need to concentrate too much.
Angry Mom - I started re-watching portions of this drama because of how pissed off I was about When I Was the Most Beautiful and the disappointment I felt when I foudn out Kim Hee Sun was playing Joo Won’s mom instead of lover in Alice (although from the looks of the posts in the tag, maybe she’s gonna be both? hahaha). This is Ji Soo’s break out role and for good reason. His crush on Kim Hee Sun’s undercover high school student mom is adorable and not creepy at all because (1) He doesn’t know she’s an ahjumma (a bit of suspension of disbelief is required for this drama because no matter how great KHS looks, high school student she is not); and (2) it’s completely one-sided and not reciprocated by KHS at all. Sigh, I just want to watch KHS in a hot noona romance and Ji Soo in a good romance where (1) he gets the girl and (2) the plot is not completely asinine.
Stopped Watching but Really Need to Return to
Ever Night S1 - Ok, I literally have less than 10 episodes left of this drama but for some reason I keep on putting it off. I have a real problem finishing dramas I love. Aside from the fact that I get easily distracted and hop from one drama to the next quite often, I think it’s also because I don’t want the drama to end. I know there’s a second season, but it just doesn’t seem the same. Anyway, I should just buck up and finish this drama already.
Novoland Eagle Flag - I took a break because the angst was just non-stop and I needed something a bit lighter.
Six Flying Dragons - I binged like 10 episodes one day and took a break to give my poor eyes and brain a rest. Then, in true me fashion, I got distracted by some other drama and now I can’t remember where I left off.
Mr. Sunshine - I love Lee Byung Hun as an actor and I am also a big fan of Byun Yo Han. This is also the hottest Yoo Yeon Suk has ever looked to me. But I kind of lost interest when it became apparent that all three male leads were going to be in love with the female lead. I like the female lead just fine but it’s kind of annoying how everybody is in love with her. I know this is a quality drama but honestly, I don’t think I will return to this unless I have nothing more interesting to watch.

“The HurriKane”!

Notables fichajes de ligas menores Ross Detwiler, Andrew Romine, Gorkys Hernández, Cheslor Cuthbert, Caleb Frare, Ryan Burr, Nicky Delmonico, Bryan Mitchell, Matt Skole, Adalberto Mejia, Zach Putnam, Christian Friedrich Pérdidas notables Yolmer Sanchez, Welington Castillo, Ryan Cordell, Jon Jay, Charlie Tilson, Ryan Goins, Ivan Nova, Josh Osich, Dylan Covey, Manny Banuelos, Hector Santiago, Juan Minaya, Odrisamer Despaigne
Im Soo Jung talked about acting in “Search: WWW” and working with her co-star Jang Ki Yong
New Post has been published on http://www.whatsupkpop.com/im-soo-jung-talked-about-acting-in-search-www-and-working-with-her-co-star-jang-ki-yong/
Im Soo Jung talked about acting in “Search: WWW” and working with her co-star Jang Ki Yong
TVN new drama ‘Enter the search WWW’ (hereafter ‘WWW’) starring actor Lim Soo-jung (photo) revealed the reason for the appearance of the drama.
At the ‘WWW’ production presentation held at Imperial Palace Selena Hall in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, director Jung Ji-hyun and Lim Soo Jung, actor Jang Yong-ha, Ida Hee and Jeon Hye-jin attended and talked about their work. Actor Lim Soo-jung revealed his confidence toward the character of the play.
On the afternoon of the 29th, at the Imperial Palace in Seoul, a TVN new drama “Enter a search query WWW” was held. The actors Lim Soo Jung, Jang Yong Yong, Ida Hee and Jeon Hye Jin attended and talked about their works.
On the 5th of the month, the first ‘Enter your search terms WWW’ (hereafter ‘Goble Bay’) is a portal site leading to trends, in which the real romances of men and women shaking their hearts are drawn.
Lim Jae-jung was the vice president of service strategy at Unicorn, the No. 1 portal in the industry. In the previously released ‘Swordblue’ trailer, Bae Tammy (Lim Soo Jung) showed Walker Holic who watched what people were searching the most and what they were interested in from the subway. As a witness, she did not receive a lot of flash baptism at the hearing, and her daily life, which was up to someone’s thrown egg, reminded me of a gunless war.
After the ‘Chicago typewriter’ (2017), Lim Soo Jung returns to the theater for a long time. At the production presentation site, Lim Soo-jung said, “The story of women working on the portal site was shared.” “I expect that 2040 viewers will get a lot of love.”
“I thought it was a new character that I have never seen before in a drama. Goal-oriented and achievement to succeed. But it shows weakness before love. You can look just like that if you look just like that, but it’s no bigger than you think. The stories of three wonderful women and their partners came up attractive, “he said.
There are a lot of similarities between Bataami and actual imjingjeong. Lim Soo-jung, “Marriage and Lee Sung-gwan resemble my appearance. So is the achievement of career. “As a single woman, I have a lot of sympathy because I live as a working actor.” I think it is a very happy opportunity. I think maybe a lot of actresses will feel attractive. ”
Meanwhile, ‘Enter the search WWW’ co-directed director Ji Sung Hyun co-directed ‘Sean Shine’, and Kwon Doo, who accumulated his expertise as an assistant writer for Kim Eun-sook, coincided with the author. ‘And lonely, god-dokkaebi’ and ‘Sean Shine’ and TVAnn Pictures, who has made the best TV commercials, will be produced. tvN ‘her private life’ will be broadcast first at 9:30 pm on June 5th.
From the left TVN new drama ‘WWW’ starring actors Tae Hee, Lim Soo Jung, and Jeon Hye Jin. Reporter Han Yun-jong
The drama ‘WWW’ depicts the stories of women working in the portal industry. The main characters are Bae Tam (Lim Soo Jung), Cha Hyun (Ida Hee), Song Ga Kyeong (Jeon Hye Jin) who work together with desire for success.
In the drama, Lim Soo-jung moved from ‘Unicorn’, the No. 1 market share portal, to ‘Baro’, and took the first place in the industry as Hoshi Tamtam. Lim Soo-jung, who returned to the drama ‘WWW’ in two years, said, “The female character called ‘Battami’ is a new character that has not been seen in dramas until now.
Lim Su – jeong said, “I am aiming at my job and have a strong sense of accomplishment to succeed.” On the other hand, there is no need to express weakness in front of love, and to say something in front of love, “explains the character.
“I felt like I was very similar to myself,” he said. “I liked the marriage, Lee Sung-gwan, and the achievement of my career.”
“I think it’s a great opportunity for me to thank you for coming to me,” she said. “Maybe quite a lot of female actors would feel attractive to this character.”
Lim also mentioned about the long-term use of his partner (left), which forms a love line with him.
He said, “This is the first time I’ve met with this work and I’m breathing.” “It’s a quiet and calm type, but it’s like a real brother.”
“In reality drama,” (long-term use) is a ten-year-old difference between the two, “and” rather than showing the fantasy of a simple young man and a woman, “He said.
He said, “There are many scenes for female viewers who love drama, and I am confident.”
On the other hand, ‘WWW’ is a drama that once again coincided with TVN, which produced ‘Dokkaebi’ and ‘Miss Shine’.
Kwon Doo, who co-directed ‘Sean Shine’ and co-writer Kim Eun-sook as writers co-wrote ‘WWW’, plays scriptwriting.
‘WWW’ will be broadcasted at 9:30 pm on June 5, following the current drama ‘her private life’.

Visual Kei is a term used to indicate a Japanese music and clothing style with varying levels of make-up, elaborate hair styles and flamboyant costumes. Bands well known to be Visual Kei are L’arc-an-ciel, Dir en grey, The Gazette, Alice Nine, D’espairsRay and Girugamesh among others. We have recently noticed that there have been newer bands emerging who aren’t from Japan but Korea but do really well in the Visual Kei scene in Japan, one of them is Madman Esprit (toured Europe recently) and another still very much unknown band named VOID, they have released their first album Neo Decadence last year and are touring South Korea, Taiwan and Japan.
youtube
VOID has adopted the 2010 Visual kei style and recently released their first album “NEO DECADENCE” but are already working on their next single. We got in contact with them and had the chance to conduct an interview, So lets get to that and have VOID introduce themselves.
Q1: Not many people in Europe know VOID yet, Could you introduce yourself? A1: Hello, nice European fans, it is good to meet you! We are the Korean Visual Kei / New Wave Band, VOID. We debuted in 2018 and released our first EP. In 2018 we also toured in Japan, Taiwan, in Korea, and performed again in Japan in March 2019. In the last year we have been working pretty hard (lol) and will release our next single in the summer of 2019. Our members are TOA (vocalist), Robyn (Guitarist), Bi Su Hyun (Bassist), and Shin (drummer).
Q2: How did you start playing music? A2: We have all been in bands for over ten years – just not the same bands! TOA and Robyn have been in visual kei bands. Bi Su Hyun was in an alternative rock band and also enjoyed visual kei. Shin played drums in jazz and pop bands but was close friends of the other VOID members. Due to this and also being a reliable drummer, Shin was chosen to join VOID as an official member in 2019.
#gallery-0-7 { margin: auto; } #gallery-0-7 .gallery-item { float: left; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center; width: 25%; } #gallery-0-7 img { border: 2px solid #cfcfcf; } #gallery-0-7 .gallery-caption { margin-left: 0; } /* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */
Q3: How did you come up with the name VOID? A3: The name was decided by Robyn. The earliest two members, TOA and Robyn, were feeling a great deal of futility. “Let’s fill in the void with meaningful things.” Robyn first brought up the team name, and that is why we became VOID. After that, the other members joined… and we began to have fans, also. The void began to fill, just like the band’s name.
Q4: VOID is from South Korea but you’re inspired by Japanese Visual kei, Can you tell us why? A4: This is a question that needs a little bit of a complicated explanation. First, you need to know that for us, visual kei is not just “Japanese culture”, but rather “cultural shock”. When all of the members were younger, Japanese products and culture were banned in South Korea – there was no legal way to enjoy anything from Japan. In the members’ early teenage years, South Korea began to allow the import of Japanese music, anime, games, and other culture – and visual kei was officially imported. For us, Visual Kei was a culture shock like David Bowie or Queen. Why? Because we had never seen such a thing before! So it is not enough to say that we were influenced by Japanese culture. We were influenced and completely shocked in our adolescence by this culture.
Q5: In a country with so much KPOP, how did you come in contact with Visual Kei? A5: All of the members’ personalities are crooked (LOL). We don’t want to do anything that is easy. Of course, we are also not good at dancing. Korea is a country where trends change very quickly. We want to be craftsmen who keep doing one thing and honing their skill in this sort of place. That is why we do visual kei.
Q6: Who inspires you? A6: TOA : People who I have met in the past Robyn : Weather and emotions (not people) Bi Su Hyun : ME Shin: Amateurs playing and everything in the world.
Q7: Who are you favorite artists? A7: TOA : TAKUI, MUCC Robyn : L’Arc~en~ciel, ONE OK ROCK, Alan Olav Walker Bi Su Hyun : HIDE, Martin Adam Friedman, Polyphia Shin : Nickelback, my first story, anika nilles, Benny greb
Q8: You released your first EP, can you introduce it to our readers? A8: The name of the album is “Neo Decadence”. We did it ourselves. Writing, composing, producing… We’re a little queasy and embarassed now that I think about it again(joke). Before this album, we thought we should do the right thing when we do Visual Kei. This is the album that got us to the limit. CD JOURNAL also reviewed this album as a flawless Visual Kei release. In AMAZON JAPAN, this album was temporarily out of stock. We think it’s a good album. It’s an album worth listening to once.
Q9: What is your favorite memory so far about being an artist? A9: TOA : When I saw a fan memorizing all the lyrics I wrote. Robyn : When the new song was released. Bi Su Hyun : Every moment when I’m a member of VOID. Shin : Every moment we prepare for the performance, agonize over it, and meet each other’s opinions. And the results and performances of it.
Q10: What does VOID hope for in the future? A10 : TOA : THE LEGEND. Robyn : The band that counts down from 7 days before the release of a new song in Times Square in the U.S. Bi Su Hyun : TOKYO DOME ARTIST. Shin : The team that will lead Korean rock.
Q11: Going to your live show, what can people expect? A11: Well, it’s a performance, too. We think the good thing about Visual Kei is that we’re not bound by a single piece of music. So we can play various kinds of music, too. And we’re usually kind(lol). That’s one of the good things.
#gallery-0-8 { margin: auto; } #gallery-0-8 .gallery-item { float: left; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center; width: 25%; } #gallery-0-8 img { border: 2px solid #cfcfcf; } #gallery-0-8 .gallery-caption { margin-left: 0; } /* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */
Q12: You’re recording a new single, can you tell us about it? A12: Fast beat, strong sound. It’s just VOID. Come to think of it, it’;s also the first time all four of us have participated. Until then, the members weren’t completely decided. You can count on it.
Q13: If our readers are interested in finding your music, where can they find it online? How can they buy your first EP? A13: You can buy our first EP yourself from Amazon Japan or CD JAPAN. Oh, I don’t know if you guys know, but Spotify also has our music.
Q14: Is there anything you want to tell our readers? A14: I hope you guys know us a lot through this interview. Please support us a lot. Thank you!

Los Ángeles utilizó a Walker Buehler, Kenley Jansen, Pedro Báez, Ryan Madson, Scott Alexander, Dylan Floro, Kenta Maeda, Julio Urías y Alex Wood, mientras que Boston puso a desfilar a Rick Porcello, Eduardo Rodríguez, Joe Kelly, Ryan Brasier, Craig Kimbrel, Heath Hembree y Eovaldi.

Miguel Antonio Parrodi Espinosa
LIGA AMERICANA

Owners say new house is a disaster; developer accuses them of ‘online terrorism’
Timothy and Hyun Kim of St. Petersburg pose outside of their new home, which has multiple construction defects and code violations. The couple wanto move from the house, which has
ST. PETERSBURG — Stretched across the front of Tim and Hyun Kims’ two-year-old house is a big banner with the name of a developer and the words:
"I have to fix my new house."
Some of what needs fixing is instantly apparent. The front steps are too narrow and too steep. Handrails are missing. A big crack has appeared on the porch ceiling.
That’s not all. An engineering firm said the house is so rife with construction defects and code violations that it would be better to tear it down instead of trying to fix the problems.
Ever since they moved in 15 months ago, the Kims have been battling with James Landers and his Aspen Venture Group, a company that specializes in "urban infill" projects in St. Petersburg and Tampa. During the last boom, Landers developed townhome communities on both sides of the bay. Now he is concentrating on single family homes in St. Petersburg that cost as much as $2.7 million.
Landers accuses the Kims of relentless "cyber-bullying" that includes YouTube videos and scathing reviews on the website Ripoff Report.
"It is nothing short of online terrorism where they are using this issue to extort our business," Landers said. "We have bent over backwards to handle any legitimate issues they bring up and they refuse."
RELATED COVERAGE: Trendy downtown St. Pete townhome project scrapped, permitting delays blamed
The Kims say they had to resort to such tactics because Landers and his general contractor have refused to fix anything but minor problems. They also say they have gotten no help from the city of St. Petersburg even though the city’s building official toured the house in December and acknowledged code and workmanship issues.
Why didn’t city officials catch the problems before issuing a certificate of occupancy? That’s because no city inspectors ever checked the property — and under a provision of state law they didn’t have to.
***
Now 48, Landers is among the developers who survived the housing crash though not without some hits to his finances and business reputation.
In 2007, owners of Tampa’s DeLeon Townhomes sued Landers, two of his companies and a contractor, alleging that improperly installed trusses had caused the floors to sag.
"It was not catastrophic but noticeable enough to affect the real estate values," said attorney Edward Kuchinski, who represented the owners and won a jury award for repair costs.

In 2009, Landers was among those sued by 20 owners in South Tampa’s Villas of Horatio. Due to faulty construction techniques, the townhomes had suffered a "pervasive amount of water intrusion," attorney Steve Walker said. A settlement was reached just as a jury was about to hear the case.
There was other litigation. In 2011, Community Bank of Manatee won a $68,275 judgment against Landers and his High Point Development LLC. In 2012, the lender for a townhome project in Carrollwood won a $2 million deficiency judgment against Landers, among others.
Three years ago, with Tampa Bay’s housing market well on the way to recovery, Landers started Aspen Venture Group in St. Petersburg. Aspen signs began popping up at construction sites in upscale areas like Snell Isle and the Old Northeast.
In 2016, Landers caused a buzz when he announced plans for 35 high-end yet affordable townhomes in the city’s trendy Edge District. But he angered buyers when he abruptly scrapped the project last summer, blaming permitting delays and rising costs. A smaller townhome project in which he was involved — four New York-style brownstones in downtown St. Petersburg — never got out of the ground either.
The Kims knew nothing about Landers’ background in early 2016 when they contracted with his HCI 301 LLC to buy a two-story house it was building in northeast St. Petersburg. But they had looked around and decided "we liked the aesthetics of Aspen homes," Tim Kim said.
Work on the house continued beyond what the couple thought was supposed to be the August 2016 completion date. That December, Hyun Kim emailed Landers.
"Obviously ball dropped on our end," he replied. "No excuses on the delays. We have failed in this area for sure. We had several unforeseen events hit us all at the same time that have had a huge impact."
In January 2017, the Kims closed on the house for $445,476 and decided to move in although the rear deck was not finished. At first, the main problem they noticed was the interior paint. In several areas, it was peeling off in long, rubbery strips.
"The paint got us distracted from all the other stuff," Tim says.
Both he and his wife work at home — he does product branding, she’s a global team leader for a tech company — and the more time they spent in the house, the more "stuff" they found. Cracks in the walls. Kitchen sink not attached to the counter. Problems with the AC, including no central air vent in the bonus room.
Last April, they put up the banner.
"Nice banner d—-head," Alan Hudson, the general contractor, emailed Tim Kim.
Workers began to fix some of the issues, among them adding a railing to an interior stairway although they glued rather than screwed it to the wall, the Kims say. They continued to find problems.
Last August, in an email referring to the banner, Landers asked the couple to take down "your slanderous sign." He suggested three options: Remove the banner, litigate the issues in court or accept his offer to buy back the house and "go our separate ways."
The Kims said they turned down the offer — which Landers says he made three times — because home prices had risen so much they didn’t think they could get anything comparable in size and location. They hired a home inspector that documented dozens of problems including exposed wiring, stairs not to code and windows that weren’t impact resistant.
It was not until last fall, during correspondence with city staffers, that the Kims discovered the city never inspected the house before issuing the certificate of occupancy.
Under state law, so-called "private providers" can handle inspections as long as the local government allows the practice. It is fairly common in cities like St. Petersburg where city inspectors are stretched thin because of so much new construction.
Landers hired a private provider firm headed by architect Peter Goldhammer, who has had issues of his own. In 2006, the Florida Board of Architecture reprimanded him and fined him $2,000 for signing and sealing plans that were not his own and that referenced an outdated building code. Two years ago, he paid a St. Petersburg church $5,000 after botching plans he drew up for a renovation.
To do the actual inspection of the Kims’ house, Goldhammer hired inspector John Walker, who approved all of the work. Walker could not be reached for comment.
"I don’t want to talk about that now, I’m sorry," Goldhammer told a reporter and hung up.
**
A few days before last Christmas, city planning director Dave Goodwin and building official Rick Dunn visited the Kims’ home.
"Regarding this house, there were a lot of workmanship issues but a few code issues also that we discussed," Dunn said. Although the Kims are legally are responsible for code violations now, the city didn’t take any action because of possible litigation between them and Landers.
In February, the couple hired an engineering firm that chronicled yet more problems and concluded: "We are of the opinion that this property should be rebuilt instead of remediated."
Now, things are at a standstill. Landers says the Kims won’t let his workers back in the house, are harassing some of his clients and attempting to extort a "ridiculous amount of money" from him.
The Kims say they only want fair market value for the house plus closing costs, moving expenses and reimbursement for the money they’ve spent on repairs.
"We would give back the house," Hyun Kim said. "We are emotionally exhausted and don’t want the house anymore."
They have no intention of taking down their banner, which they say has prompted other people to come forward with complaints about Aspen. Attorney Lee Rightymer said one of his clients cancelled a contract for a house with a Landers-related company though it was on "amicable" terms. Diane Leaghty, who bought an Aspen townhome in the Old Northeast last year, said the project was marked by delays, poor communication and unfinished items.
"I’m not happy with the experience I had with the Aspen Group," she said.
Dunn, the building officials, says he too has heard complaints.
"There seems to be a challenge on some of those Aspen projects, not building code issues as much as in some cases poor workmanship," he said. "That’s an issue for the owner and the contractor to work out."

HOY INICIA EL CLÁSICO DE OTOÑO
