Okay i like hades very much but the colors and sounds when you get to the theseus fight just murder me every time
#like.... oh my god..... who thought that was a good idea#like boons are already one thing... honestly the only one that always catches me off guard is hangover dash#but uh oh my god the theseus fight just finds the perfect combo of lights and colors to stop all brain function#like... i can handle having a million boons in most cases... like i can do it bc more often than not unless you have smth like hangover dash#youre not gonna see em too much? really only dash effects are the ones that get all up in your face i think#but oh my god. holy shit. the theseus fight is just. its just way too much#like not a single other boss fight or area gets me#styx gets closes when its a million rats and whatever#but theseus... whew.... its just way too much for my brain#im fine for like... the first bit and then either theseus hits half or the minotaur does and YIKES#theseus’s spear aim is the same as bows in elysium but its just so much worse bc astreus is there too#and you have such a small area and i dash so much so then i have#my dash effects (usually) and the aiming and the spear and then#you get astrius swinging his axe which leaves the waves of like Bright Pink and you also get the weird#like little triangles that shoot out once he hits the ground#and just the general vibe of the area is a lot when added to that bc u have the shades and they can react and cheer and Ugh#this is not even counting theseus’s lunge attack or the fact that i use exagryph so i have gunshots and explosions going the entire time#and then theseus hits half and you ALSO have to deal with whatever the fuck they decided to hit you with popping up ALL THE TIME while you#fight theseus and still have the dash effects and aiming and lunge and gunshots and boon colors going#(bc usually minotaur is taken out by this point i’ll give em that) but god its just Way too much and it destroys my brain every time#also theseus just annoys me so im sitting there like brain broke but working just enough to get me annoyed#and UGH what a horrible fight i hate it#i forgot to mention it but all that added to the block noise when u hit his shield is Disgusting and i hate it#im not playing anymore tonight i dont think but Still im Ugh#djfjdhf#misc#its not that i cant do the fight it just means that i cant keep track of ANYTHING happening sdkd so i just like run around until its over
