dune 1984 is a youtube clip compilation of a movie, it just skips over so much. It lacks any sort of emotional weight, the characters who remain are stripped of everything that made them interesting. Sting from music was there. I'm just left feeling mad

#it really made me feel that its too long to adapt well #so uh hopefully the new one is better #fuckin i cant believe how short pauls growth to a messiah was #you could count the scenes on one hand i think #patrick stewart was there which could have been awesome #if he and every other character was given time to be a person and not just some guy #it really was maybe the worst book to movie adaptation ive seen #its certainly my least favorite in memory #what the fuck was up with those 'weirding modules'#stupid ass magic megaphones that just. blew stuff up #david lynch appeared as two different characters i think #that was fun #about halfway through i stopped laughing at its choices and just started grimacing #oh and the fucking. rain at the end #:|#the music was kinda good too but now when i listen to it i just get a little mad #toto did the soundtrack and brian eno helped on a track btw
