The scent of strawberries suddenly wafted through the halls. "Adi?" A voice chittered lightly. Beastie stepped into the room, a strawberry print dress hanging from her teeth. She gently set it down on a nearby table and sighed. "Your father and I wanted to give you something more extravagant... But we had no ideas. Hopefully this suffices..." She murmured, going to nuzzle her son. "Happy birthday, Adi~."

The dhampir perked up at the scent, his gaze following it as his mother stepped in with the most gorgeous dress. Immediately, he got up from his spot, only to be met half way by his mother. Adi purred when Beastie nuzzled him, returning the gesture and wrapping his arms around his mother’s majestic snoot. “Are you kidding? I love it, Mama! Thank you so much! It’s so pretty!!” He paused, nuzzling her again. “Besides, you and Daddy already gave me the best presents in the world; the two of you, and five adorable little siblings. The thing I wanted most was a family, after all. You gave me that, and you give me more every day. How could I not love it all?”

A blood-curdling scream sounded from down the hall. There were sounds of objects being broken and shattered. Beastie was thrashing in her bed, her shadows flailing uncontrollably. Black tears flooded from her eyes as her own claws pressed into her chest.

“Beastie!!” Lisa immediately shot out of bed and down the hall like an arrow shot from a taughtly pulled bow, right for her daughter’s bedroom. She didn’t care about any risks from her child’s shadows, all that mattered to the doctor was soothing Beastie. Bursting into the room, her blue eyes widened at the chaos. The erratic shadows, the broken objects in pieces strewn about the floor, the black tears in the beastgirl’s eyes... Without another moment’s hesitation, she bolted into the room, dodging shadow after shadow as she made her way to her daughter’s bedside...

As much as a horny bastard Neku could be, sex and affection aren’t exclusive for him, not really. As much as he could fantasize about a guy, he probably wouldn’t act on it if he didn’t have a good relationship with them, platonic/romantic or otherwise...

As far as Sho goes?? Well, he’s tried to kill Neku on multiple occasions, and with very little regard for any collateral destruction in his quest to make himself composer. It’s hard for Neku to really forget that... Alot of his trauma was in direct relation to Sho’s actions, so??

Two paths. One, a sexual relationship full of toxicity and self-loathing and angst... Or a slow-burn redemption story building up mutual understanding that develops into a sense of trust.
