A few weeks back, I drew this while playing a role playing game. The setting of the game was magical events taking place close to a fairy ring in the Scottish country side in 1828. . The woods are drawn with @3Oyster for @StudioFlaverse <The Witches> Arachne. The mushrooms are inked with @kyonooto Bengara-iro. The sky is colored with @tmkrinks Abalone diluted with tea. The grass is simply @inksbyvinta Piloncitos which is in my @faggionato_stylos. @Inktober day 13: Ash . Ashes to ashes, dust to dust... 🔥💀 . As soon as I read the prompts for this years Inktober, I pictured this. So it’s actually the first one I drew for this October. It was a quick and energetic moment that led me to make it. I keep going back to look at it, but have not retouched it since mid September. My relationship with ashes is that of death, of fire in the chimney in Canadian winters and lots of matches burned lighting candles 🕯🔥 This year, I lost an amazing friend. We were by her side all the way until her cremation. Though we cannot touch her hands anymore, I still feel her warm presence. I guess this drawing is my way of saying farewell to her... 🍂❤️ .
