Here's my 2024 student graduate horror film, 'Are You Home?' :)

So far, Are You Home? has been selected for the 'Bite Night Presents...', and 'First-Time Filmmaker Sessions' (hosted by Lift-Off Global Network) film festivals!

Software used for this project includes TV Paint, and Adobe Creative Cloud (such as Photoshop, Audition, After Effects, and InDesign).

Second Leg

This project that started off as emotional spills onto the kitchen checks at work has surprised me at how it has flourished. There is still much work to do, but I feel as if ever since it blossomed into the concept for my junior film, it has taken on a life of its own and I am merely a vessel for its journey. I am excited to see where it goes and at the same time, I hold a sliver of fear rooted in uncertainty. But that’s okay. In what has been rendered so far, I have already learned so much about myself as a person and an artist. That “aha” moment when everything suddenly flows like water for a fraction of a second. My goal for this film is fairly simple: to actually complete it within the given deadline (or fight like hell trying and finish anyway after the fact) and more importantly, to hopefully resonate with at least one other person that sees it and give to them what so much art out there has given me. I’ve got 17 weeks to go from a rough animatic to fully experimentally animated. Even simple can sometimes seem like a tall order, but I’m ready to see where this path will lead and what version of myself will come out the other side.

Stage is set, lights are set, all systems set to go. Everything is all set to go for acclaimed electronic band Reverb and the Electrons to give a concert performance like no other. Or at least it would have, until one of the members of the band lost her instrument. Now it is a race against time for the electrons to find the lost instrument before their staged concert is set to begin. Starring Reverb and the Electrons in their first animated adventure; experience Electrapanic. After more than an year of production and hard work, my senior thesis animation is FINALLY complete. This year has definitely been one of hardship and challenges but I can finally add my finished thesis to a list of positive items for this year. Im so proud and humbled that I can finally share the electrons first animated adventure with all of you. Drawn in adobe illustrator, animated in paper cutout stop motion and then edited in adobe after effects, this film has definitely been a passion project for some time and I hope you all enjoy. This is my final assignment for the first quarter of the program. I am pretty proud of myself for getting the timing to work and making it look pretty smooth. There are a few things I could improve, but at least I know what to do better in the future.

Animation i completed for the 35th anniversary of transformers!! It was super hard to make but im very happy with how it came out! This piece was done to be an adaptation/tribute to the commercial bumpers from the original 80s show, hope yall enjoy!!
