what was your first ship, and what fandom is it from? 

Oooh, this is a great question. I know I had some FEELINGS about the ships in the Alanna books as a kid, and I have a vague recall of shipping Paris/Torres on Voyager. 

But in terms of things I actually have more than vague recall of, it was either Ron/Hermione from Harry Potter (the books, duh), or Will/Lyra from His Dark Materials. I think those were formed right around the same time. Of the two, I retain vaguely positive R/Hr feels, but SUPER STRONG Will/Lyra feels, so I guess that’s what stood the test of time most.

what is the most underrated ship, in your opinion?

Oh my god is there where I rave about Shy Baldwin/Reggie from The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel? I think it is.

And his childhood best friend turned insanely loyal manager, played by none other than Sterling K Brown. They are fiercely loyal! Shy sings like an angel, is in the closet and struggles with the homophobia of his era! Reggie will do anything to protect him! They make sweet sweet music together:

They are so great, and yet there is exactly ONE (1) fic for them on AO3. It is a tragedy.

Also, runner up: Stringer/Avon from The Wire. I understand it’s not the most fandom-friendly fandom, but it’s Idris Elba! It’s got everything! Loyalty! Betrayal! Sexual-tension laden fights!

what’s your favorite headcanon of starker? 

Ooooh. This is so hard, I have so many! But one I am particularly fond of right now is that Peter is the one other person in Tony’s life who treats his bots seriously (he is, in fact, way nicer to them than Tony is, lol), and that is one of the things that solidifies Peter as not just a good superhero inheritor, but one of Tony’s top favorite people in the whole world.
