A small cut of dialogue from NxC that my brain decided to process very un-seriously. Part of it is Hiryu's line-- fan-translated to something on the lines of "I don't care" so I don't know the original words-- which felt so sudden with how he shut down Hien like that.
That other is that Juno and the Strider hires don't closely interact with each other, but they're part of the same team. So I have to wonder how that's like. I'm focused on one of the humans for a reason.
#for context juno hien (and solo) were testing out some teleportation thing and ended up where they didn't intend to#they all seemed so confused so like the protags aren't the only ones with that sorta stupid which is great#(I didn't feel like drawing man no.3 because I was focused on the sopping wet cat that is hien)#your friend doesn't wanna join you no matter how many times you plead and after you horribly betrayed him oh that's too bad#I feel so bad for him but also I see the drama#the things is I've actually heard of his name a few times before (because of alt costume references and such in mvc)#but I never saw his face until now#I just never bothered to google him ever? or I forgot?#but I'll take it as a pleasant surprise (also aww)#and if any of this looks messy I drew a good chunk of it with a migraine I just really-really wanted to draw aughh#I'm fine now though (sorry hiryu you deserved better)#doodle-daas#comics#namco x capcom#strider hien#strider hiyru#megaman juno#rockman juno

Following after my previous ponderings between Hien and Juno in particular, I have a less-goofy interaction. So if it wasn't clear, I do not think they get along At All. I get the image of someone forced into a group project with people they can't stand but you need the grade.
But besides that, why did I pick (on) Hien? In addition to him being a human, Hien's actions were driven by his jealousy of Hiryu. So there must be a hint of inferiority hiding in there, no?
What a great mix with something that has no regard for living beings.
#so relax-- as much as I endearingly call hien a pathetic wet cat I won't ever forget to look at the other facets of his person#as if I have to say this. but I've had people seem like they must count the number of indulgent riffs I'd have on a character#like thank you are you the police? I did not ask to be put on some explicit-seriousness-quota :)#anyway I originally wanted to have juno suggest that hien ask meio himself if he's so sure#but I don't think he'd waste his breath giving advice (even sarcastically) to someone/something he could care less about#doodle-daas#comics#namco x capcom#strider hien#megaman juno#rockman juno#for the record I did not choose tong pooh because she isn't as front and center towards hiyru in this crossover as hien was#she's just hired help so of course she's gonna act the way she does-- unlike hien who was a former ally#otherwise. yeah she'd probably hate this guy too. but the conversation would be very short.#(btw I drew hien 'too tall' in that 3rd shot imagine he's standing on a little box I can't undo my pen strokes)
