"Ode to Lost Souls: Navigating Life the Keatsian Way"

Oh, John Keats, my favorite poet and confidant in the world of verses! His ode to fancy resonates with my lost soul like a melody in an empty street. You see, I've earned the title of a "lost soul" in my family, a badge of honor for my knack of getting lost in the world of imagination.

One day, my father, concerned for my sense of direction, took me on a route to memorize. Upon his return, he asked, "What do you remember about the route?" I enthusiastically recounted a billboard, a child playing, and, of course, a tree I fell head over heels for—the bark, texture, and shape described in romantic detail. When he inquired about landmarks, I sheepishly admitted I forgot to look for any.

In my teenage escapades, I stumbled upon gates, streetlights, and scenic streets, questioning their familiarity. I once mistook the backside of our home for an unexplored wonderland. Classic!

My crowning achievement came when I joined a DHA branch. On the second day, I misplaced my office on the fourth floor, tirelessly searching the third. I made friends, naturally, as I also forgot the name of my boss. My immediate supervisor, the team head, had to rescue me. For a week, my tea boy became my designated escort, ensuring I found my way.

Yet, I find solace in Keats' ode to Fancy, as if he penned those verses just for me. It's like he understood the immersive experience of losing oneself in surroundings when inspiration strikes. Sure, I may need assistance finding my bearings occasionally, but it's all worth it. Thanks to Keats, I've crafted beautiful works and collected fond memories, all while embracing my "lost soul" status with a hearty laugh.
