For me, 12 years of volunteering in the Bronx, NYC, for Thanksgiving… and we’ve never seen each other this cleaned up! Tuesday night in downtown Manhattan was a great memorial event and experience to remember our beloved founder, Sister Mary Lanning. Mary and her positive work in this world will never be forgotten. Especially her 50+ year’s of The Streetcorner Gourmets annual efforts for Thanksgiving and beyond! 🥰 Let’s all continue to remember those positive people who influence us and who trigger our own positive actions forward in life. Especially those who chose to put others first along their own journey. Mary loved everyone and everything she encountered! I’m a better man for meeting her back in 2010! Our Thanksgiving volunteers are putting in the overtime tonight. Keeping these great kids from Boys Hope and Girls Hope busy tonight!
