Woodie smiles, picking up Wes and walking over to the strawroll.

"I've gotcha, we can jus take it easy for now." He smiles, looking up at the darkening sky, easily tossing another log on the fire.

wes is playing in flowers as a guy like him usually is, he squints a bit at movement in the clearing ahead of him. he makes a surprised 'o' with his mouth and scrambles to his feet. it's been ages since he's seen someone else. so he runs as fast as his slinky legs can carry him and throws his thin self onto woodie, hugging him tightly. excited boy.

Woodie had left his guitar at camp, and only had Lucy with him at the moment. He lets out an ‘OOF’, catching the small man who ran into him. He almost chokes on the stick he’s been chewing on. He awkwardly pats Wes’ back, not sure how else to react if he’s honest. He hasn’t seen another person besides Lucy in ages.

“Ehh… hello there?” He manages to say after a few coughs.

Woodie sighs, not sure what else to say. This is honestly the first time he's seen someone in what feels like a year.

He turns back to the rabbits and pulls out a smaller log, taking a bite out of it as he gives the critters another turn. Gotta stave it off now more than ever, he can't lose himself.

After a while the meat is done, he walks over to Wes and hands him a skewer.

"Up you get, I have a strawroll that's more comfortable than that. You can sleep after you've eaten."
