I don’t really think this look went to plan, the make -up wasn’t changed and the outfit was put together on a whim. I have edited with the concept but I am unsure if any images will actually make it into my book.

Out of all the images I actually like this background the most. Although it does not really relate with this specific look on the shoot I would like to use it at some other point in my book.

SHADES - LOOK 3 - EXPERIMENTAL EDITS

Here I have played with photoshop to use the lampshades as the key repeating item within the look. I think in a way this may sexualise the look, but it really is just intended on being subversive and different.

Here is a number of images that were taken with the props of a lampshade. I think this is a strong comment on society as people will consume into almost anything if it is the ‘trend’

I aim for the book to be as tactile as possible, nonetheless with the company I am getting it printed with, I can only print one style of paper, therefore to make it look more edgy/different/ interesting to read I think it is important to collage and bring the publication to life.

This shoot was something that I imagined in my head for a while but has been executed a little differently. I wanted to use my mum as I think it’s important to shake up fashion and show models of a range of ages.
