Robin and Eddie were waiting for Steve in his living room. Well, Robin was stretched out on the other couch watching Eddie dig around in the other couch for the remote.
"Buckley, I know you and Stevie are strictly platonic, but how close are you that you just leave your underwear tucked into his couch?" Eddie asked, standing up and holding said underwear up.
"Does that look like something that I wear? It's frilly, pink, and satin-y," Robin said. "Plus, my ass would not be able to fit in those. . .too loose. But, I think I do know who they belong to."
"Who?" Eddie asked.
"Oh, hey!" Steve exclaimed cheerfully. "There's my underwear! I was folding laundry earlier, and I couldn't find them anywhere. I also have a matching bra."
"You wear women's underwear?" Eddie asked.
"Yeah, it feels great," Steve said. "Does that make you uncomfortable?"
Eddie suddenly had an image in his head of Steve wearing nothing but the pink underwear and bra. . .spread out in Eddie's bed. He collapsed onto the couch, his knees buckling. He pulled the pillow over his lap.
"It's not exactly the word I'd use," Eddie said.
"Eddie?"
"I think that's my que to leave," Robin said and walked out the door.
"Eddie?! Eddie! . . . Your face is totally blank. It's freaking me out. Shit, have you been cursed? Goddamnit! Okay, I have to find that Puppets of Masters tape! Hold on, Eddie!"

id love to request a blurb with eddie and reader who has some family trauma. like parental issues 🥲 and just eddie being a sweetheart
prompt: “what’s wrong with me? why didn’t they love me? why wasn’t i good enough for them?”
ty for requesting!! — eddie comforts you after a fight with your dad (established relationship, hurt/comfort cw for mentions of childhood trauma | 1.5k)
“I think I’m broken.”
From where you’re laid on Eddie’s chest, you can feel the rumbling of his laughter against your cheek. The bubbly sound of his boyish chuckling almost makes you smile. Almost.
“I don’t know…” he lilts, smoothing his hand over your back, as though to check for any cracks or scrapes. “You seem pretty perfect to me.”
“Shut up,” you murmur and tuck your burning face into his chest — a desperate and feeble attempt to hide. Your nose smushes against his neck, and you take a deep breath in. The familiar scent of weed and woody cologne fills your lungs.
“You don’t feel broken either—” Eddie teases, just before jabbing your side with two fingers.
The fleeting tickling sensation makes you squeal as your hand jerks out to swat at him. The flailing limb finds purchase on his stomach, which trembles now with laughter.
Your body, moving on its own accord in reaction to his prodding, rises from the pillow you’d made upon his body. You move to the very edge of his mattress, knees pulled up to your chest, and sit with your back facing the lazing boy.
You wince and rub at your side, though it hadn’t hurt at all.
“I’m being serious, Eds,” you whine in protest, sparing the boy a glance over your shoulder.
“Oh, right. Serious,” he responds, still joking as he clears his throat and lowers his voice a few octaves. “Very serious.”
You manage a small smile before turning away again. You focus your gaze on your lap and fidget with a loose thread hanging from the hem of your sock. It’s easier than looking back at him — at the boy who’s made a superpower out of making you laugh. Even though he’s in bed with you now, you don’t feel nearly as happy as you know you should be.
It’s not fair. Not to either of you.
“I’m just… I’m just thinking about the fight. You know. With my dad,” you confess, voice featherlight and faraway. The sock tightens around your ankle when you pull the string taut. You wrap it around the tip of your finger until it turns a shade darker. “I’m starting to feel like maybe it’s my fault…”
Eddie grows suddenly solemn.
“Hey… That’s… No,” he stammers and rises on his elbows, trying to find the right words to comfort you. “I mean, no offense, babe, but your dad’s an asshole. You can’t blame yourself for that.”
“No, I know, it’s just… He’s a good guy to everyone but me, you know? Like, the whole town loves him— and he loves ‘em back, but just not… Just not me,” you say, laughing softly to yourself, still refusing to meeting Eddie’s chocolate gaze that swims now with concern. The tip of your finger starts to tingle with numbness. “And I’m just like… what’s wrong with me, you know? Why doesn’t he love me? What did I do that was so wrong?”
“You didn’t do anything wrong,” Eddie answers for you, gentle but still stern in his way. He reaches out for you and curls his ringed fingers around the crook of your elbow — if nothing but to feel you and to keep you tethered.
You turn to look at him then, a feeble glance from the corner of your eye. His hair is wild with sex and sleep. His cheeks are flushed and rosy. His mouth is pink and softly swollen. He’s glowing and pretty and perfect. You want to keep him forever this way, like a picture in a locket or a love letter in your wallet.
“He puts up a front with the rest of the town, so no one can see what a jerk he really is, right?” Eddie tells you. “But you know the real him. And he hates that you know the real him, so he takes it out on you.”
It’s a lot more profound than anything you could’ve expected to spill from his mouth. And it hurts even more because you know he’s right.
You were raised with your father’s urge to people-please. It didn’t matter how crazy your life got, just as long as no one else had to see it. None of the bullshit mattered if people didn’t know it was there. That was your father’s philosophy, at least.
You become half daughter, half apology — blundering with the uncertainty of yourself and the wrong kind of love.
Eddie was the first person you ever let in.
You showed him all your chaos, and he loved you just the same. The catastrophe of your personality was suddenly beautiful again — interesting and lovely and warm. You were perfect because you weren’t.
It’s why you run away to Eddie’s trailer so often, and why you’re here even now. Because he lets you be human — clumsy and naive and starry-eyed — and doesn’t snatch any of it away from you. He just holds you.
His warm hand squeezes your arm in reassurance. His eyes glint with sincerity. “He’s not your dad, okay? He’s just… some guy with a kid. And why should some guy get to make the best girl in the world feel so sad?”
A smile quirks at the corner of your mouth, and trembles softly as you confess: “I’m just scared that I’m unloveable.”
The heaviness of the moment and of your admission is swept aside with the stubborn shake of Eddie’s head. He dispels the thought from his own mind with enough vigor to take it from yours, too.
He rises fully and slides towards the edge of the bed so he’s behind you. One leg curls behind your back while the other sits straight out beside your own. His warmth envelops you wholly, like warm honey or a soft blanket. The hand on your arm doesn’t move. This boy and his touch are the steadiest things you’ve ever known.
“Well, that’s just not true,” he argues, lips warm on your shoulder as he presses a kiss over your t-shirt. He rests his chin there a second later.
Your face scrunches softly in discontent. You don’t like how sure he sounds, batting off your concerns with the finesse of someone who knows more than you do.
“How would you know?”
“‘Cause I love you,” he answers like it’s obvious, chin bobbing with every word. “And so does a ton of other people. But I matter the most, so… It just can’t be true, you know? Process of elimination or whatever.”
It’s hard to see him from this angle, with his face so close to yours. You want so badly to kiss him, but you can’t look away from his chocolate button eyes and the sparkle they look at you with.
You don’t want to smile, but you can’t help it — like some kind of pouting child. The expression tugs slowly at your mouth before bursting into glittering rays of sunshine. It’s like blue skies after pouring rain, how swiftly you recover.
“There she is,” Eddie singsongs with a beaming grin of his own. He presses a kiss to your cheek, so full of intent that it smacks when he parts from you. You laugh when the edges of his curls tickle your jaw.
“You okay now?” he asks — just measuring the temperature, not boxing you into a corner.
It’s not the ‘you have to be okay’ that you’re used to.
Instead, it’s a — ‘it’s okay if you’re not okay, I’ll just kiss you a million times until you forget why you were sad.’
You nod. “Yeah, I’m okay… Thanks, Eds”
Eddie watches you go suddenly sheepish, peering at him from beneath your lashes like you’re embarrassed to have been human in front of him.
“Don’t thank me,” he scoffs. “I just love you— You shouldn’t thank me for that.”
“Right,” you answer with a soft laugh. ‘Cause you’re still getting used to that — being loved without having to give anything in return other than your own affection. Sometimes, your heart is enough.
You settle finally in his arms, full of warmth and contentment. You wrap your arms around the ones he holds you with. Eddie lets you fall heavy on his chest — warm honey, soft blanket.
“I love you, too, by the way,” you hum after a moment of velvet silence.
Eddie presses his lips to the crown of your head and smiles. “I know.”
“Kinda makes me feel like a little carton of strawberries.”
He laughs into your hair. “What does that even mean?”
“I don’t know,” you lilt, giggling right along with him. “That’s just what it feels like… I love you so much, it’s like… Like I’m holding the sun on both sides or something.”
“Whoa. That’s a lot,” he muses, only partially playful. “Still not as much as I love you, though.”
And, for now, you don’t argue.
There isn’t a reason to, really.
You love each other, and that’s enough.
Nothing can beat the feeling of finally being understood, of being held in the right hands. Nor is anything as liberating as the pursuit of wholeness instead of perfection.
And in Eddie’s arms, you’re whole.

have some more bestfriend!eddie flangst, you animals.
a sequel to this, which is a prequel to this.
Tumblr media
Johnny wasn’t so bad.
He was handsome enough and his cropped haircut suited his face. It showed off his high cheekbones and the angular lines of his strong jaw. He did crew, so he had nice broad shoulders with arms that were lightly muscled from lots of hours logged on the rowing machine. And he had a disarming sort of smile, his mostly straight teeth framed by strangely plump pink lips.
It was an odd thing to think, but he actually kind of looked a little bit like Eddie.
A distorted, alternate universe, almost cursed version of him, that is. Because, come on—Eddie Munson with blue eyes? Some things were too ludicrous to even consider. And picturing those warm and inviting deep brown irises replaced by Johnny’s cool, ocean blue orbs…
The thought alone almost made you shudder.
Aside from his looks, Johnny was also absurdly charming. He laid lines on you like it was his job and yet never came off smarmy or disingenuous. Confidence just oozed off him like molten lava, as if he had never experienced even a second of self-doubt one time in his whole life. Clearly, he kneels aware of everything he had going for him.
So no, Johnny wasn’t all bad.
But he wasn’t all good, either.
Your first few dates had all been at bars where you just happened to link up with some brothers from his fraternity. He then spent the majority of the evening carrying on with them, lazily draping his arm across your shoulders and whispering a sardonic running commentary in your ear.
He never outright ignored you, but it seemed there was always something to draw away his wandering eyes—a game playing on the TV, one of his friends sinking a shot in pool or hitting a bullseye in darts, a pretty girl in a low-cut top passing briefly through his peripheral vision.
It was never anything that felt worth exerting the effort of getting annoyed over, though. He’d been very upfront with you about what he was looking for and not being the “boyfriend” type. The word around campus was he was nursing a serious case of heartbreak and still carried a fairly massive torch for his ex, Crystal.
Which was quite honestly fine by you.
Like most of the people you dated, he was ultimately just a distraction. Someone nice and cute, inoffensive and disposable. Someone to keep you warm on particularly lonely nights.
And Johnny kept you extremely warm. Literally.
He always ran weirdly hot, which was nice in some respects. Like tonight, when he parked his car under the cover of some trees on the side of some deserted lane he found far too quickly for it to be coincidental. The moment he cut off the engine, the chilly evening air had begun to leak into the cabin and had you sitting closer to him in the backseat and clinging onto him a little tighter than you normally might have.
Kissing him was like making out with a furnace, but he was a very good kisser—no doubt having had plenty of practice. And the longer it went on, the harder it got not to think about the pair of lips his reminded you of so much. With your eyes squeezed shut and the two of you lit only by the scant traces of moonlight illuminating the edges of your entwined limbs, it became a little too easy to imagine a different set of hands running up your sides, sliding up your sweater.
But when your hand drifted up, fingers expecting to wind into long and wiry waves, and you found yourself gripping futilely at short blonde hairs behind his ears, the illusion shattered.
Your shoulders shook in a shiver as your chest was exposed, the simple lace bralette not nearly as insulating as your thick knit top. Lips popping off yours, Johnny pulled back to get a look at what he’d unveiled and you felt a little tremor of worry sneak down your spine.
“Huh,” he said with an amused chuckle.
Not exactly the reaction you’re going for when you take your shirt off for a guy.
“Something wrong?” you asked pointedly. His head jerked up, like he had forgotten there was a person attached to the body he’d been pawing at for the last hour and a half.
“Hmm? Oh, no, I just noticed something s’all,” he answered, surging in for another kiss.
You planted your hand in the center of his irritatingly toned chest and pushed him back.
“Noticed what?”
“S’nothing, baby,” he told you with an easy smile. “One of ‘em’s just way bigger. Look—”
And before you could say anything, before you could fully register what he was doing, he had put one of his hands on each of your breasts and he pushed them up to demonstrate. And it was hard, nigh impossible, to deny how your right one filled out his hand significantly more than the left.
With a huff, you yanked the bottom of your sweater down, forcing his hands to drop as well.
“What? What did I say?” he asked, blinking at you far too dumbly for someone as smart as him.
“Just take me home, please. I have a lot of work I need to get done.”
His mouth opened, no doubt to protest, but you had already pushed open the car door to climb out and get back in the front seat. You’d then spent the rest of the ride home quietly seething while he attempted to assure you he “didn’t mean it that way” and that “it’s not a bad thing.”
But even with his over-abundance of body heat, there was no chance of him thawing you out.
You honestly didn’t believe he said it maliciously, you just figured he could have been a little more diplomatic? It wasn’t like you didn’t realize there was a balance issue—they were your boobs for chrissake, did he think you never noticed?
It was just no one else had ever felt the need to point it out so thoroughly.
Still, you nodded mutely when he pulled up to your apartment and asked if he could call you the next day. And you hated yourself more for it with every stair you climbed to your floor.
The flashing light on your answering machine drew your eye as you skulked through the door and tossed your purse on the kitchen counter. The jangle of your keys sounded especially loud in your empty apartment and you heaved a sigh as you pressed ‘play’ on the way to the fridge for a beer. You’d just touched the rim of the bottle to your lip when you heard Eddie’s voice.
“Hey, I might need an emergency extraction ASAP—Steve and Robin dragged me to karaoke and they’re about to do dueling STYX covers. You’re my only hope! Come! Pleeeease!”
He sounded just a little bit tipsy rambling off the address of some bar he was probably outside of calling you desperately from a pay phone. If you closed your eyes, you could see his sweet and lopsided smile as he laughed into the receiver, his warm breath fogging up the glass siding, fingerless-gloved hands tracing shapes in the condensation while he talked.
A spiral. A lightning bolt.
The first letter of your name.
The machine beeped and his voice filled your apartment again, sounding much less jovial and much more sober, this time most likely calling from the comfort of the recliner in his trailer.
“Hey, sorry, I forgot you were out with what’s-his-name. Uhh…I just got home. Call me when you get in? If you want, y’know, assuming you’re not…busy. Or, um. N-never mind. Night.”
His message had barely finished playing before you snatched your keys back up and headed out the door. You couldn’t say for sure what spurred your spontaneous trip, but you didn’t stop long enough to wonder. Maybe you were just lonely. Maybe you were just sad.
Maybe you just needed to be around someone you knew wanted to be around you.
You let yourself inside his darkened trailer with the key he’d given you, sneaking silently down the hall towards his bedroom door that was outlined in gold from his bedside lamp on the other side. Had it not been for the rumble of his stereo, you might have thought he was asleep.
“JESUS CHR—”
The yelp he let out when you opened his door made you giggle. He scrambled to sit up, not so subtly flinging away the magazine that had been spread open in front of him. His top half was bare, tattooed chest heaving as he clutched at it and panted trying to catch his breath.
“You scared the shit out of me,” he accused, the fondness in his voice leaking through despite his attempt to sound angry. A smile twitched up the corner of your mouth as your brow arched.
“Sure you don’t mean the jizz?” you asked.
“I’m not—”
Eddie’s chest puffed up angrily until you fixed him with a Look that made it deflate. He glanced at the Heavy Metal on the floor and gave you a cheeky smile and a guilty shrug instead.
“That’s what you get for breaking an entering, sweetheart.”
“Well, you think you can get friendly with yourself a little later? I kinda had a bad night.”
The wounded tone in your voice caught Eddie’s ear. He nodded and gave you one of those “you don’t have to ask” sort of smiles you had kind of been hoping for. You nodded back succinctly and went to open the drawer in his dresser that had begun to accumulate your clothes.
“Do…do you wanna talk about it?” Eddie asked, his dry throat aching as he tried to swallow.
With your back turned, you couldn’t see the way his eyes l bulged when you tugged down your jeans to replace them with sweats, and you definitely couldn’t see the way he plopped a pillow on his lap as you stripped off your sweater and put on a t-shirt in its place.
“Nah,” you told him, resolute and flat. “It’s stupid, anyway.”
Eddie didn’t need to hear about some blonde douchebag feeling you up. He didn’t deserve that. It wasn’t like he cared about your dates one way or another. And it’s not like what happened was that bad, you reminded yourself again as he switched off the light.
You curled up on the side of the bed closest to the window—your side—and folded your arms under the deflated sack of feathers posing as a pillow to support your head. As you lay there, waiting for unconsciousness to overtake you, you heard the low murmur of Eddie’s voice that was drowsy with sleep and rough from the joint he’d smoked whose scent still lingered in the air.
Only the first bit, a slurred “g’night sweetheart” reached your ears. The rest was unintelligible. Something about shoving you?
“Did you say something?” you whispered to him.
“No,” he answered after a long pause. “No, noth…nothing important.”

Three knocks stronger than the rhythmic pitter patter of the rain have your attention shifting towards the window. Had you not been welcoming him in your room for the past few weeks you would’ve jumped right out of your bed out of fear. But this was becoming a regular thing, it’s now a matter of ‘when’ rather than ‘if’.
Pushing your biology course books out of your lap, your mind on him rather than the endocrine system you’re supposed to be studying. As you briefly wonder the gravity of his wounds, you remember to close and safely lock your door to avoid interruptions, aware it would be worrying for your mom to find you patching up Spider-man, the boy in a tight, red suit who always makes it on the news. Some say he’s a necessary vigilante for the troublesome city, others state he’s just a dumb kid playing superhero.
Although he always refuses to tell you anything about his identity or his life, you’re pretty sure he’s certainly not just playing around, countless bruises and cuts can attest to that.
The sound of the rain gets louder as you open the window, droplets smacking against the emergency metal staircase climbing up the side of the building. Poking your head out of your room carefully, you look to the left, met with a dark figure sitting on the stairs, leaning back against the brick wall, chest still heaving, shoulders sagged yet tight with pain.
“C’mon Bug-boy…” Urging him inside, you step back from the window, letting him come inside, droplets of water sliding down onto your carpet from his suit. He’s limping, you notice as much, his usual flexible self being rendered to a few pained movements. You briefly wonder how he managed to make it here.
The moment he’s inside your room, he plops down to the floor, resting back against the foot of your bed while his body seems to finally relax a bit, assuming he knows he’s safe with you and you’ll take care of him. Silently bending down, you reach under the bed and pull out the hidden first aid kit you bought a week ago, having realised that some small bandages and a disinfectant won’t do anymore.
Shutting the window, you take the precaution to pull the curtains shut, aware how paranoid he gets sometimes. Kneeling next to him, you tuck some hair behind your ears and speak. “Where, and how bad?” Hoping he’s not actually too injured, hating to see him like this, he pulls his mask up to his neck, showing a cut on his jaw, and as you gaze down, you asses another injury on his waist.
You’ve never seen his face. He’s kept his mask firmly in place, and has instructed you to do the same even if he passes out. You’re not sure what would be so bad about seeing his face, but you stopped questioning it after a while, now staring at the sharp jawline, biting your lip as some wet, brown and blond-ish strands of hair stick to the side of his neck.
Forcing yourself from building him a face you think would fit him based on what you’ve seen already, you rummage through the kit and furrow your brows as you fish the cleaning cloth, dampening it with disinfectant before you announce that it’s going to hurt.
He knows that, of course he does, he’s been through this with you before. But it does feel reassuring to acknowledge his pain. Focusing on the bloody split on his jaw, glad it’s not too deep, you don’t bother to ask what weapon did this as you know he never answers. The pain you cause him is evident from the way his fists stay curled tightly, pressed against his thighs.
Wiping the blood away from his skin and ignoring his groan, you grab a bandage big enough to fit his wound and place it over, making sure it sticks to his skin. However, the cut on his waist is more concerning. His suit is damaged, cut just like his skin is beneath it, though luckily it has stopped oozing blood for a while now, saving the mess it would have made on your floor and carpet.
Scared to approach it, you stare at it and watch as he pushes himself up a bit, having slumped against the foot of your bed due to the pain. “Thought you were about to become a doctor…you’re going to leave me out to die?” His tone, despite trying to sound amused, still has that pained tinge to it. The absurdity of his statement has your eyes rolling, huffing while a bloody cotton ball falls onto the floor. He’s here, laying on your floor after being beaten up, yet he still has the audacity to humour you.
“First of all, you are not going to die from two superficial cuts.” You can see his lips curling up, showing his white teeth as they split into a grin. Lips so pink, you stop to admire for a moment before remembering the point you were trying to make. “And second of all, I haven’t even started my residency yet! I’m purely working on you with the theoretical knowledge I have.”
He stifles his laugh, teeth biting into his lip before he quickly chokes up a gasp, grasping at his side. Pursing your lips, you let him calm down before shaking your head and murmuring about him being a dummy, regaining your confidence to approach his wound, you try not to think about it too much before you use a pair of scissors to cut more of his suit in order to gain access to his cut. Letting him know you’re ready, he breaches for the pain and you work through the mess of dried up blood, brows pulling together and eyes squinting while you carefully sanitise the wound, wrapping it up before you lean back, plopping on your butt with a soft thump before you gaze at him, his head now propped against the wooden pillar, taking calming breaths through his mouth.
“You’ll be fine, it didn’t look too bad.” Silently appreciating your assuring words, he moves to stand up. He never lingers, this sort of agreement you two have never went beyond you cleaning and patching him up, moments later to have him jump right back out of your window and disappear into the night, swinging from building to building.
It didn’t bother you at first, but now you’d like him to at least acknowledge you a bit more. It’s selfish, you think. You can’t demand something like that from him, so you keep your mouth shut and watch as he pads to the window, his steps as light as a cat’s.
“See you soon, doc.” The last thing you see is another stretch of his pretty lips before he tugs his mask down in place and opens your window, leaving you with a shudder as a wave of cold air enters your room, watching as he confidently jumps down from the rail.
Shaking your head and sighing, you close the window, lingering by it for a few moments before you pack up the first aid kit and throw away the bloody cotton balls.
THREE WEEKS AGO
Chilly weather always has you adding another layer beneath your jacket in hopes of maintaining a healthy body temperature. But as much as you want it to work, you always end up shaking, legs not able to carry you as fast as you’d wish. This late at night the streets are mostly empty, as was the uni’s library in which you spend your whole evening, revising one last time for your exam.
And just a ten minute walk is all it takes to get back home, so without hesitating, you walk with freezing hands shoved in your pockets. You’re not aware of the man taking an interest in you until it’s too late, his voice, gruff and raspy, calls out for you, and you make your first mistake. Stopping in your tracks to turn around.
He’s about the same height as you, a black beanie and hood covering his features, shielding him from the streetlight’s golden cast. He holds a knife, you can tell by the handle of it, the blade hidden behind his thigh as he speaks again. “Give me your bag.” He demands, his voice wavering as if he’s scared, paranoically looking back over his shoulder.
“I said give me the fucking bag!” He shouts, getting a bit more frantic now as he reaches his left hand for the strap of your bag, fist curling around the leather, but before he can even think of tugging on it he’s blinded by a web covering his eyes. You gasp, stepping back as his grip falls from your bag and instead scratching his covered eyes to free them, another ‘woosh’ sound echoes, another web collides with the man, this time glueing his hand to his chest.
A figure slowly comes down, hanging upside down, feet pressed to the thin string that’s connecting him to the street lamp while he keeps hold of it. You notice him wearing a costume, covering his whole body, a spider shape etched onto his chest. He drops down on the pavement, easily tripping the mugger as he tries to run away. You stand there and gasp as you hear the loud thud as the man falls onto the concrete.
“You, my dear sir, need to be taught a lesson.” The man…boy? in the spider costume tuts and crosses his arms over his chest in disappointment, pretending to care though he’s clearly mocking him. “This young lady didn’t do anything wrong. It’s always the undeserving ones who experience the worst things because of assholes like you.” His words seem to hold a sort of personal value to him, you don’t dare speak.
After the police picks up the thief, you continue making your way back, an uneasy feeling still lingering at the back of your mind. “So…” You yelp as the boy swings in front of you, landing on the side of the building a bit higher up and sticking to it effortlessly as if his limbs are made out of glue. “Why’re you walking alone? You didn’t get dumped, did you?” He tries his luck, jumping to the next building by crawling on the side of it to keep up with your walking pace.
“Um…no.” Keeping your hands tucked in your jacket, not daring to look at him, he jumps down from the building, and surprisingly enough he starts walking backwards in front of you, hands locked behind his back as he effortlessly side steps over a puddle of muddy water. “Just coming back from uni.” You’ve heard of him before, the one in the spider suit doing good deeds expecting nothing in return, but a few blurry images couldn’t really convince you of his integrity, so as he walks in front of you, you’re not sure what he wants from you.
Maybe he’s just another creep, playing the good guy role to gain the trust of others— “Hello, earth to pretty girl.” He waves a covered hand in front of you, making you snap out of your pretty ridiculous train of thought. “Relax, m’just walking you home to make sure you’re fine.” He flicks his hand, trying to bat away your obvious worries. “So, what are you studying?”
His question catches you off guard, eyes widening for a moment before he clarifies. “You said you were coming back from university, right?”
“Oh…” The sound is breathy, feeling a bit embarrassed as you respond. “Medicine, general surgery.” The slight saunter in his walk doesn’t fade, head cocking curiously to the side as he gives you an approving nod.
Stopping in front of your building, you bite your lip, eyes drifting away from the mask, trailing to his arm where you’re quick to notice the cut on his bicep, blood reddening the material of his suit. Stepping closer instinctively, you look at the damage before you frown. “You’re hurt.” He curiously lifts his arm a bit before he notices his cut.
“Hm, didn’t notice…must’ve cut myself while i was swinging.” By the way his words come out you’re assuming whoever is behind the mask is frowning.
“I could help.” Out of the blue, surprising yourself too, you offer to patch him up. You’re not sure if he can be trusted, but the way he helped you out of a street mugging, you feel like you at least owe him a bit of help back. “I’m on the third floor, room on the corner…there.” You point to the window and he takes a mental note. “Be quiet, my parents can’t know.”
After patching him up, he climbs out your window, and then once again, something in your mind has you speaking up. “If you ever need help…with wounds and stuff— you can always come by.” You fiddle with your hands and watch the curve of his back, head turning to the side to gaze back over his shoulder, at least you assume so since his eyes are covered by the mask.
“Will do, thanks doc!” You gasp as he flings himself over the edge, free falling for a few seconds before he shoots out webs, catching himself against the next building, watching him disappear into the night.
“The amazing Spider-man, infamous hero of New York City, has saved a family from a burning building. Earlier today, the masked vigilante made his presence known by pulling out a family of four from their top floor apartment as it went up in flames. Authorities showed up to the scene and from what we know so far, they detected a gas leak—“
Tuning out the news reporter, you sigh as you wonder if you’ll see him again. It’s been almost a week and truthfully you’re glad he hasn’t shown up at your window with another set of bruises and cuts on him, but you still feel somewhat empty. Maybe you’re expecting a sign? Something to let you know he’s alive and well, even though there’s plenty of news attesting to that already.
It’s absurd really, but spending your time sitting on your windowstill has become a habit, whether you’re studying or drinking a coffee, you look out into the night sky, hoping to see a dash passing by. Maybe it was for the best, maybe he’s found himself a licensed doctor to take care of him, not some second year student patching him up in her bedroom with shaky hands. Tracing your fingers over the spine of your book, the words jumble as your eyes pass over them, not making any sense of them in your brain. It’s your third time reading this page, but you pull your eyes away from it the moment a familiar voice rings through the room, your eyes finding the TV where he’s apparently giving an interview.
“Rest assured, New York, the Spider-man is here.” He gives a salute to the camera before he swings away, quickly disappearing from the screen. Great. Now he’s giving interviews.
Pushing yourself off the bed, socked feet dragging over the floor as you make your way to the kitchen, passing your dad in the living room. He’s watching some game, newspaper sprawled open on his lap. After grabbing some water, you return to your room, a cold breeze darting over you, eyes widening as you find the window opened. “What the…”
Stepping into the room to close it, your brows furrow as you turn around, a voice coming from above you. “Language, young lady.” You gasp, stumbling back against the bed, finding him sticking to the ceiling, hanging in the corner of your room. Clutching your heart, you close your eyes and take a deep breath. “The fuck’s wrong with you?” Shaking your head, you watch as he drops down onto his feet, moving to rest against the wall by the window, you’re wondering if he’s looking for a quick escape in case it’s needed,
“Sorry, sorry, didn’t mean to freak you out,” He lifts his hands, as if surrendering, but you purse your lips, a brow cocking curiously. “You say that while you were just hanging off my ceiling.” That makes him think for a moment, letting out a soft chuckle before he brushes a hand over the back of his head.
“I guess you’ve got a point…” His smile is obvious in his tone, his body more relaxed than usual which has you wondering if he’s hurt, because that’s why he must be here in the first place. Standing up, you walk to him and give him a once over.
“Are you hurt?” Not being able to find any injuries which might need your attention, you breathe in and watch as he dismisses your words with a shake of his head, making the furrow between your brows deepen. He pushes himself off the wall, walking around your room as he seems to be looking around curiously, pictures hanging off the walls, decorations propped up on furniture.
“Nope, I’m fine. Thanks to this new suit…something about impenetrable nanofibers I think.” His hand reaches for a teddy bear, grabbing it as he turns around, propping it in front of his face before he speaks in a higher pitched, mocking voice. “Bad spider, scaring his trusted doctor like that.”
You must admit, he’s ridiculous, watching him do that makes you grin to yourself, rolling your eyes for good measure before you step closer, yanking the teddy away from him as you prop him back into his place. “Hands off, bug boy.”
“Bug boy— really? I’m- I’m not some ladybug, or stink bug. I’m a spider, I shoot webs. I’m cool.” Defending his case, he makes a few “phew” sounds as he pretends to shoot webs all over your room, but you cross your arms, standing still before he stops, leaving silence to settle in for a moment. “Okay, that was ridiculous, not cool at all.” Laughing softly, you bite your lip, taking a look at him.
“Why are you here? Since you’re not hurt…impenetrable nanofibres and all.” Waving a hand jokingly to dismiss the words as he had done earlier, he simply shrugs, moving to pull the curtains shut as a last minute safety measure.
“I guess I just wanted to check in on you, you know? I don’t think I’ll be needing any patchwork done anytime soon.” Ah. So that’s it, he’s come to tell you you’re useless to him now. You toy with your fingers and nod, assuming this is the last time you’ll get to talk to him like this.
“That’s okay. So that means you won’t have any reason to come here anymore.” That seems to make him silent for a few moments, this time it’s awkward, not carrying that comedic effect like before.
“I can still come and see you, you know? We could hang out…as friends.” Your eyes widen. He wants to keep coming to see you. Not because he has to, but because he wants to. Your mouth opens, no words coming out, instead you settle for a small smile and a nod.
This could be good, at least it seems to be that way.
Carefully stepping out of your room, holding onto the railing, you sit down on the metal platform, knees pulling up to your chest as you hug the sweater tighter over your body, not letting the cool breeze beat you.
You’re not sure when you picked up smoking as part of your regular routine, all you know is that you’re out in the cold now, trying to take your nicotine fill. Red knuckled hand grasping the lighter in your hand, thumb flicking over the spark wheel a few times until a flame bursts out, burning the tip of the cigarette, taking a drag before stuffing the lighter in the pocket of your sweats.
Watching the cloud of smoke flow up into the air, the back of your head pressed against the brick wall, the cold not being such a bother anymore. “Didn’t anyone tell you those are bad for you?” A familiar voice pulls you out of your own head, he’s crouching on the railing, maintaining his equilibrium perfectly.
Taking another drag as if to humour his words, you sigh. “You’ve got to stop doing that. One day I’ll have a heart attack.” He jumps from the railing, settling down in front of you, legs outstretched as they cage you in, feet pressing to the wall on each side of your body.
Though he’s not touching you at all, the position feels somewhat cosy, offering you a sense of protection. Blowing another lungful of smoke, you hold your hand out to him, offering him a drag. The way his head tilts lets you know he’s thinking about it before his hand reaches for the cigarette, his other tugging his mask up over his lips, exposing his lower face once again.
How is it that just his lips have you in a trance, trying your hardest to build him a portrait in your mind? You’ve never asked to see his real face, though you doubt it he’d actually show it to you. A so-called friend of Spider-man’s.
He puffs out the smoke in a similar manner to you, eyes following the way his tongue wets his slightly chapped lips, trying not to let certain thoughts encompass you. “So how was your night? Any bad guys?” Deflecting with the start of a conversation, you watch as he ashes the cigarette over the railing, passing it back to you.
“Pretty boring, but it’s gotten better.” Fighting the smile his natural charm tries to put on your face, you sigh and knock your foot into the inside of his knee lightly. “Funny…” Your word falls flat, followed by the slightest smile as you give him the last puff, letting him throw it away too.
“You know, for someone who is all about the law, you’re pretty ignorant of littering.” Quirking your brow as if to scold him, you notice him grinning, his mask still pulled up. “My apologies.”
Stargazing and small conversations ensued, he’d switched to resting against the wall right next to you halfway through talking about the moon’s colour tonight, shoulders and arms pressing together, you don’t feel like moving away, more so, wishing to drift closer even if by accident.
Tearing your gaze away from his jaw, you tell yourself how wrong this is, to want to reach out and pull his mask the rest of the way up, wanting to reveal his face. Something about the mystery of it has you yearning for more of him, though that would be insane since you don’t even know his name. All he gave to you was a few hours of his company from time to time.
“No, clearly you’re colour blind.” He feigns shock at your statement, hand pressing over his heart before he tuts with a disappointed look on his face. “Oh baby, don’t talk to me like that..”
He’s joking, of course he is, though the pet name, uttered so softly from his lips, makes you warm up, especially in the cheeks. Nudging your forehead to the side of his shoulder, feeling the solid muscle, yet still somewhat comforting, deciding to leave your head there, not uttering a word as he seems to accept the change in position, tilting your head back to gaze at his side profile.
You hate the way the moon lights up his angles perfectly, how the urge to reach a hand up to his face bubbles up inside of you and how everything is just nearly attainable but still out of reach due to your own self restraint. That doesn’t stop the words from coming out though. “Would you show me your face? I feel like we’ve known each other for a month already and all I’ve seen is that mask of yours.”
You feel dejected as he seems to tense next to you, his plush lips thinner now as they purse together. A beat passes where nothing is said, your head pulling back from his shoulder, gazing at him expectantly before he clears his throat, shaking his head with a small smile on his lips.
“I would, but that’s part of the trick, isn’t it? The whole—y’know, faceless act.” Looking down at your lap, you nod, feeling like he’s reducing you to the random passersby who might see his face while he swings from building to building. Trying to not let the disappointment show on your face, you force your attention back to the moon still high onto the sky, uttering softly.
“Yeah…I get it.”

🦃Happy Turkey Day 🦃
“Eddie, what the hell are you doing?” Steve giggles upon being dragged by his boyfriend to the bathroom of the Hopper-Byers home.
They were in the middle of Thanksgiving Dinner, Steve was just dishing up another helping of mashed potatoes, and now, well.. Steve finds himself gasping when Eddie shoves him past the door, and against the vanity, forcefully turning his body so he's facing the mirror, only to be met with the smirking image of Eddie reflecting back at him.
“I, my love,” Eddie starts, only to grind his already hard cock against the clothed seam of Steve's ass, before he speaks with a wet rasp into the crook of Steve's neck, “am going to fuck you, in this awful pink pastel, disaster of a bathroom, and you,” he reaches around to squeeze Steve through the front of his slacks, “are going to be a good boy, and be quiet. Then, you'll let me come in your ass, so you can spend the rest of the evening waiting for me to eat it out of you when we get home.”
Eddie undoes the buckle of Steve's belt with practiced ease, doing the same with his own only a moment later, “How's that sound, Sweetheart?”
A needy whine is on the tip of Steve's tongue, and the bare press of Eddie can be felt on the now exposed, mole dotted skin of Steve's ass, when, unfortunately, the rasp of Robin's voice, hisses through the door, “I have to piss, and so help me god, Steve, if you're getting railed right now…”

Tumblr media
Summary: Eddie's all: “Relax, Feywild, I’ve got this,” like he didn’t just try to party his career into a tabloid headline. You're all: “Munson, I’m one tantrum away from quitting, don’t test me.”
And of course, he’s insufferably charming about it.

It wasn’t fun. Not at all, you told yourself as you parked your car two blocks away from the famous club where Eddie was supposedly hanging out. Two blocks might not seem like much, but in a city like LA, walking two steps downtown at this hour was risky—especially for a girl. You slammed the door of your Chevy shut, irritation bubbling inside you, and started walking toward the address Robert had given you over the phone ten minutes ago. He’d interrupted your movie, the one you’d been watching in your ridiculously expensive bed that you’d proudly bought with your first paycheck. A bed that, apparently, some cosmic force had decided you wouldn’t get to enjoy.
The club looked exclusive—you had to admit that much. There was still a long line of people waiting to get in. Near the VIP area, two girls were practically begging the bouncer to let them through, even though they clearly hadn’t paid. You marched straight up to them, interrupting their tense back-and-forth.
You cleared your throat, gaining the attention of the two girls, who now glared at you for breaking into their negotiation. You raised your ID.
“I need to get inside. I’m looking for someone,” you said, trying to sound authoritative.
The bouncer frowned. The girls, meanwhile, rolled their eyes, clearly amused. To them, your excuse must’ve sounded even flimsier than theirs.
The bouncer chuckled dryly. “Yeah, sure. And I’m supposed to let you drink for free too?” He motioned toward the line with a jerk of his thumb. “Get in line, sweetheart, and stop wasting my time.”
You glanced toward the VIP section, spotting an open door cordoned off with a velvet rope. Inside, a platform loomed over the main floor. A small crowd was gathered there, laughing, dancing, and drinking. And right in the middle of it all, lounging on an expensive-looking chaise, was Eddie Munson—head thrown back, laughing like he didn’t have a care in the world.
“Munson!” you yelled, but, of course, your voice was drowned out by the music, the shouting, and Eddie’s likely alcohol-induced stupor. You tried again, louder this time, but nothing. The girls giggled mockingly, probably enjoying your little spectacle. You weren’t about to let that slide. Putting two fingers to your lips, you let out a piercing whistle that somehow managed to cut through the chaos.
Eddie’s head shot up. His bleary eyes scanned the room until they landed on you. For a second, he looked like he didn’t recognize you. Then, a wide grin spread across his face, and he stood up, wobbling a little as he made his way down the platform. You couldn’t tell if it was the speed of his movement, the ridiculous black platforms he was wearing, or the sheer amount of alcohol he’d consumed, but he looked like he was about to topple over at any second.
When he finally reached you by the door, you could feel the palpable shock from the girls next to you. Eddie threw an arm around your shoulders, his breath reeking of booze as he greeted you with a sloppy smile.
“Feywild,” he slurred, leaning in way too close because, of course, Eddie Munson didn’t believe in personal space. “You came.”
Shrugging his arm off, you tried to shield him with your smaller frame, hoping to avoid giving the paparazzi—who were already gathering—any more ammunition.
“Eddie,” you sighed, trying to maintain composure, “what the hell are you doing here?”
He gave you a once-over, frowning at your outfit. “Weird look for a party,” he muttered, then gestured dramatically at himself—his boa of feathers and all. “But who am I to judge, right?”
“It’s because I wasn’t planning on coming to a club tonight,” you snapped, gesturing at your burgundy corduroy pants and your faded Corroded Coffin tour hoodie. “I was in bed.”
“But it’s party night! What should I'd be doing? Sleeping?” he said, clearly bewildered.
Eddie always responded with a blend of childishness, mockery, sarcasm, and irony. Such was the case when Wayne sent him a ring in an old but well-preserved box. You had panicked, for what else would a rock star want with such a ring if not to make an impulsive decision and marry someone you had become infatuated with the night before? Of course, you had to ask him the purpose of the ring. 'What else, Fey? To marry you, of course,' he had replied, making you roll your eyes and bite your lip. You never asked again, especially after seeing the modest ring hanging from one of the chains around his neck.
“You just finished the first leg of the tour, Munson. It’s a freaking Tuesday night, and you’ve got an interview with Letterman in two days. I thought you’d be home, passed out on your giant orthopedic mattress with a muscle relaxer.”
“Aww, Fey, don’t be like that—”
“My name isn’t Fey,” you interrupted, seething. You’d never figured out what the nickname meant, but the way Eddie said it always made it sound like a joke at your expense. Tugging at your ponytail, you glared at him. “Drink some water. We’re leaving.”
“Nope,” he said, grinning like a child and stumbling a step back.
You turned to the bouncer. “I’m going in to get him,” you announced with such determination that the guy didn’t even try to stop you.
“Munson!” you called after Eddie as you followed him inside.
“You’re in, Feywild! Relax! Drinks are on me!” he shouted over his shoulder, already halfway up the stairs to the VIP section.
“I want to go home, Munson!” you yelled, stopping at the base of the stairs.
Eddie turned, his expression falling. “Then go home,” he said flatly.
You shook your head. “I’m not leaving you here. Robert called me in a panic. This place is crawling with photographers. You don’t need this kind of attention, not now, when you and the band are on top.”
“I can take care of myself,” Eddie said, his voice low and defiant.
You knew he could. He’d handled false murder accusations and even survived...whatever the hell had happened in Hawkins. But this wasn’t Hawkins, and Eddie wasn’t just some small-town outcast anymore. This was Los Angeles. Eddie Munson was a rockstar now, one headline away from chaos. And you? You were the one who’d lose your job if things spiraled.
Taking a deep breath, you softened your tone. “Robert doesn’t think so.”
Eddie frowned from the platform, taking a long look at you. “Robert can shove it. I don’t need a damn babysitter.” Then, before you could say anything else, he grabbed a shot of tequila from a nearby table and knocked it back.
You saw him grab a small glass of tequila from a table, and you swallowed hard. You were in trouble; Eddie was a handful when he was partying, and tonight, the guys weren’t around to help. Usually, Big Rock would help hold him down and get him to the car. He and Gareth (recently, anyway) were the ones who caused the most trouble, acting like a couple of toddlers.
It was your job to keep them in check.
"Alright, I’ll go get my car and leave," you finally announced, feeling a knot form in your stomach. You were going to lose your job. You’d lose it, and then you’d have to go back home with your tail between your legs.
For some reason, that caught Eddie’s attention. He turned to look at you, his expression suddenly serious.
“Your car? Robert didn’t send my driver with you?” he asked, sounding like all the alcohol he’d drunk had magically drained out of his system.
“No, I drove here from home. I told you that,” you replied, watching his gaze drift off, like he was thinking about something. He threw back another shot, nodded, and then started walking down the stairs toward you.
“Alright, let’s go,” he said, leaving you standing there completely dumbfounded.
You watched as he asked the host for his jacket. The man happily handed it over, and you followed Eddie, asking the host for one of his security guards to escort both of you to your car.
“I don’t need covering; cover her,” Eddie instructed one of the guards when he tried to shield him from the photographers getting too close.
You walked in silence to your car, unlocking the passenger seat for Eddie before quickly moving around to your side to get in. The guard kept the photographers at bay long enough for you to thank him and close the door.
Eddie was fiddling with the radio as you buckled your seatbelt and started the engine.
“You need to get a new car. This one’s not safe,” he said, frowning as he stopped on a rock station.
Your Chevy was a used '70s model. You knew it was old, and you knew it didn’t look great. But it ran, it was clean, and, thankfully, the leather seats were still intact. That was more than you could ask for.
“Not all of us can swap cars like we swap underwear,” you shot back.
Eddie frowned at you, but it didn’t surprise you. He always got cranky when you dragged him away from a party. It was like taking a toy from a spoiled kid who had a room full of them.
“I pay you well.”
You sighed. You were not about to have that conversation with him—not now, not ever, and especially not when he reeked of mezcal, cologne, and bad decisions.
“I’m taking you home, Munson. Do you have your keys, or do I need to stop by my place for the spares?” you asked, watching him pull the keys out of the pocket of his long jacket.
“I need to stop by Robert’s first.”
Your shoulders tensed as you backed the car out of the parking lot.
“Bad idea, Mun. It’s three in the morning,” you said, worried.
“If he was awake to get you out of bed, he’ll be awake for me, Feywild. Trust me.”
You rolled your eyes.
“You’re gonna get me fired, Munson,” you muttered, taking a turn toward Robert’s place in Bel Air.
“I’d never let that happen, my dear Fey. You couldn’t live without me, and I couldn’t have that on my conscience,” he said, batting his eyelashes mockingly. You just scoffed and kept your eyes on the road.
“Stop calling me Fey.”
“I’ll stop when you start calling me by my name like everyone else. Or maybe not... I like Feywild,” he said with a smug, self-satisfied grin.
The next 20 minutes were filled with Eddie tapping his ring-clad fingers on the dashboard, drumming along to whatever was playing on the radio. He did this all the time; it was like his brain never got tired of following a rhythm. He’d even record his concerts and listen to them during drives, making notes. That was probably the most serious you’d ever seen him. Most of the time, he drove you crazy, but you had to admit: he was talented and a perfectionist.
When you pulled up to Robert’s house in one of the most exclusive neighborhoods, Eddie reached over and honked your horn. The sudden noise made the neighborhood dogs start howling. You smacked his hand away from the wheel, glaring at him.
“God, Munson, this is a residential area! People have normal jobs. Can you try to be a little considerate?”
Eddie laughed.
He laughed and didn’t even apologize.
You saw the lights in Robert’s mansion flick on, and a few minutes later, the man himself came out, dressed in silk pajamas and slippers that probably cost as much as your rent. Not that you cared to know. He stomped toward the car, scowling. You reached over and slowly turned the radio volume down.
“What the hell?” Robert directed his anger at you, placing his hands on the car door as Eddie rolled down the window. “It was simple—I asked you to pick him up from the club and make sure he got home safely, not bring him here and wake up the whole neighborhood.”
You frowned. You hated when he talked to you like that. Sure, he was good at what he did, but you worked just as hard. You didn’t ask for gold stars or pats on the back—just a little respect.
Eddie immediately turned in his seat to face him as soon as Robert finished his rant.
“I told her to bring me here, and I’d appreciate it if you didn’t talk to her like that,” Eddie cut in firmly. “She’s under contract with me to help manage my schedule, handle personal errands, and assist with other matters. You, on the other hand, hired overpriced security guards to ‘protect me,’” he reminded him pointedly. “So, care to explain why the hell you sent my assistant, alone, in her own car, to pick me up in the middle of Sunset Boulevard with zero protection?”
You pressed your lips together, feeling an overwhelming urge to run and hide. Especially since Robert, suddenly tense, stopped looking at you and began stammering.
“Fey is on a 24-hour-a-week contract, and—”
“Don’t call her Fey,” Eddie snapped, cutting him off sharply. Robert flinched slightly, and you could feel the anger radiating from Eddie, now directed entirely at him. “Listen, Robert, next time, you’re sending her with two of those ridiculously expensive guards you hired and in a damn safe vehicle. Got it?” He didn’t wait for his manager to respond, only nodded as though the matter was settled. “Oh, and you’re going to give her a raise.”
Robert’s frown deepened, and you swore your heart skipped a beat. A strange warmth spread through your stomach, and for just a moment, you felt something you’d never expected Eddie Munson, of all people, to make you feel: protected.
“That’s… we already pay her well—”
“Look at her, Robert,” Eddie interrupted again, his voice sharp. “You dragged her out of her house to pick me up when I was fine. You don’t pay her enough—because it’s my damn money, Robert, and I can do whatever the hell I want with it. Understood? Yes?”
Without waiting for a reply, Eddie rudely began rolling the window up. Just before it closed completely, he shot out a quick, “Say hi to Barbara for me.”
Then he cranked up the radio and turned to you.
“Drive, Feywild. Take me home, please.”
You let out a long sigh, still not entirely sure what had just happened. Your grip on the steering wheel tightened for a moment before you pressed the gas and got the car moving.
“Home it is.”

Red - wearer is willing to perform a lap dance
Eddie Munson may be the freak of Hawkins, but he is your best friend. Who is always willing to teach you new things, even when you get new bracelets from your cousin. Eddie will even go as far as teaching & showing you what each one means.
Tumblr media
"Oh get out of here Eddie. I don't feel like doing anything today." I pulled the covers over my head, trying to ignore him as he tried to hank the covers away from my bed.
"The is shining. The birds are singing." I snorted at him, loudly.
"You must be high Eddie. It is raining out, and there are no birds singing."
"I am not that high, and you know it. Come on. I rented some movies, got pizza on the way. Lets get you out of bed and into that living room to watch some movies.
I didn't move.
I heard him sigh. "I even rented Flashdance."
I pushed the covers down, and looked at Eddie's handsome face to see if he was lying.
"Show me." I demanded.
Him, knowing me so well, pulled it out of his inner coat pocket, and I couldn't help but squeal as I saw that he wasn't lying.
"Now will you get out of bed, and watch the movies?" He asked one last time, and I was already getting out of the bed, rushing past him to get my favourite spot on the couch.
Tumblr media
The movie was almost over, half of the candy was gone and there were still a slice of pizza.
I knew Eddie was bored, but I know he is watching this for me.
His arm is on the back of the couch behind me as I am leaning against his side, just like we have always done.
"You know if you stuck with dancing, you probably would have gotten out of this shit hole town." Eddie said, grabbing a handful of popcorn.
"Please. I stopped just before high-school, and I am glad I did. The teacher was creepy." And she really was.
Her husband was also creepy as well.
"You still remember any moves?" Eddie questioned me, which I responded by nodding my head yes as I took a sip of Pepsi.
"Enough to do a lap dance?"
"I didn't do that type of dancing Munson." I pointed out.
"Well, now you know what I am asking for." He snapped the red one
Wearer is willing to perform a lap dance.
"When do you want this?"
"I think now may be a good time. I even got a song picked out." He said smugly, as I pushed off the couch.
"Fine. Get in my room." He hopped up, and ran to my room.
I went to the laundry room and grabbed a pair of clean, lacy red panties, along with it's matching bra and put it on and fixed my hair just a bit.
As I am walking through the living room, I grabbed his discarded jacket and drapped it over my shoulders, knowing this would drive him wild.
"Start the music Eddie." I called out, and the moment I heard the music playing, and of course it is AC/DC. None the less, I opened the door, and Eddie was sitting in my vanity chair, almost looking a bit too relaxed, but he looked good.
His legs were spread and his hands were on his lap.
He saw me and his mouth dropped open as I took a few steps in my room, closing the door behind me.
His eyes trailed up and down my body.
He gave me the confidence to get me through this.
My hands trailed up and down my body, my hips moving back and forth to the beat.
I turned around, bending over slightly for him to get a good look at my ass, and as I looked over my shoulder, biting my lip I could see him adjust himself in his jeans.
I reached up and took the bra off, and putting his coat on fully now.
I turned around and his eyes were drawn to the bra in my hand, and it dawned on him that his favourite jacket is touching my breasts.
I flung the bra at his face, and he instantly grabbed the bra and put it around his neck as I moved towards him.
I smiled at Eddie as I circled around him, my arms rubbing his shoulders and touching his chest.
He reached up to touch me, but I slapped his hands away, making him pout.
"No touching, Eddie."
I placed my hands at the back of his neck as I lowered my body so we are making eye contact.
Eddie licked his lips nervously, and I watched nothing more than kiss him, but I held off.
The music faded as I turned my body to face away from Eddie, leaning forward as I sat down his lap.
I moaned softly at hard he is.
I reached behind me as I leaned back, my fingers playing with his hair as I moved back and forth, then rolling my hips in a circle motion.
"Fuck." I heard him say behind me.
I grinded my ass against him, my hands now gripping his thighs.
I needed to see him, so I got up and turned around to sit back in his lap once more, continuing gyrating my hips once more.
I grabbed Eddie's hands and moved them up and down my body, listening to soft moans fall from his lips.
Our faces were close and he leaned in to kiss me, and I pretended to lean in to kiss him as well, until I pulled away and stood up, knowing the song is about to end soon.
I ran my hands up and down my body as I closed my eyes, wishing it was Eddie.
I turned my body, bending down to touch the floor as I stand between his spread legs, my ass against his cock as I grinded my ass against him.
I felt him wrap his arms around me and I was about to say no touching once more, as he turned me around and slammed his mouth against mine, moaning into the kiss as he was muttering against my lips.
"Need you. Please let me have you." Eddie as he grinding his cock against me, making me gasp.
"Yes, please Eddie." Was all I needed to say before he was walking me backwards towards my bed, and gently pushing me back to lay on it.
I looked at him, and he looked at me as he was just about to undress when there was a loud knock on my bedroom door.
"You two want some tacos? I made tacos." Robin excitedly called out, instantly killing the mood.
"Be out there in a second." Eddie called back, through clenched teeth.
"My place. Tonight. Wayne is working and no one will bother us." He kissed me one last time as he opened the door and shut it behind him.

Made Your Mark – Fic Masterlist:
Pairing: sugardaddy!rockstar!Eddie Munson X fem!reader
Summary: You and Eddie meet on a sugar daddy site recommended to you by a friend, the results take you both through a whirlwind romance.
Things To Know: This is a modern AU, there is a bit of an age gap (Eddie is 36 and the reader is 23), the upside down does not exist and there will be warnings specific to each chapter before that part of the story actually begins but if warnings aren't needed for that chapter then the chapter will start without them. At this point in his life, Eddie is a rockstar and Corroded Coffin is still very successful and popular. I got the inspo for this from a fic I wrote a few years ago that was also a modern + sugar daddy AU, except it featured Kylo Ren instead of Eddie. I ended up hating that fic lol so think of this as the new and improved version.

Steve stood at the edge of the driveway, his heart pounding in his chest. He adjusted his brown sweater for what felt like the hundredth time. You had told him it looked good on him.
He glanced nervously at the front door. The memory of his disastrous first meeting with Nancy's parents played on a loop in his mind. He could still hear the awkward silences, feel the judgmental stares, and remember the feeling of not being good enough. He remembered passing by the house and feeling ashamed when he caught the eye of Mr. Wheeler as he mowed the lawn. Truthfully, Mr. Wheeler hadn't thought of Steve since that night. That didn't change the fact that it haunted Steve. The thought of repeating that experience made his palms sweat and his stomach churn.
"Steve, it's going to be okay," you said, placing a reassuring hand on his arm. "They're going to love you."
He took a deep breath, trying to steady himself. "I just... I don't want to mess this up." Last time, it was a disaster. He didn't dare say the last sentence. This is different. It's a different time with different people. He's changed. He's not King Steve. You're not her.
You smiled softly, squeezing his hand. "You're amazing, and they're going to see that."
Steve nodded, taking comfort in your words. "Okay, let's do this." With one last deep breath, he followed you up the walkway, feeling a little more confident with each step.
Peering eyes watched through the window, in-between the curtains. Excited eyes softened and protective eyes glared, slightly wavering as you slightly smiled. You were happy.
As you knocked on the door, he glanced at you, and you gave him a reassuring smile. The door opened, and your parents greeted you both warmly. Steve felt the tension in his shoulders start to ease as he saw the welcoming expressions on their faces.
Dinner was a cozy affair, filled with laughter and stories. Steve found himself relaxing more and more as the evening went on. Your parents were kind and engaging, nothing like the cold reception he had feared. Every now and then, he'd catch your eye, and your encouraging smile would give him the boost he needed to keep going.
"Steve," your dad started, a hint of question as he said the name, not sure if that was right. He gave time for correction, but it never came so he continued, "Y/n tells us you work at a video store. How's that treating you?"
Steve started to feel that familiar anxiety creeping back. Then he felt your hand gently touch his under the table, grounding him.
He took a deep breath and began to talk, feeling more confident with each word. "It's fun; decent pay." He started, before going on about working with friends and his boss.
Your parents listened intently, nodding and smiling, genuinely interested in what he had to say.
By the end of the night, Steve was laughing and chatting comfortably with your parents, the initial nerves long forgotten. He realized that with you by his side, he could face anything.
As you said your goodbyes, your mother stopped you, bringing you into a hug. "He's a keeper," she whispered and grinned, pinching your cheek and your became embarrassed.
Your dad brought you closer to him, after shaking Steve's hand firmly. "Be careful on the roads. Holiday traffic is the worst."
Steve grabbed your hand and began walking back to the car, Steve turned to you, gratitude and affection shining in his eyes.
"Thank you," he said softly. "I couldn't have done this without you."
You smiled, leaning in to kiss his cheek. "I knew you could do it. And now you know it too."
Steve smiled back, feeling a warmth spread through him that had nothing to do with the chill of the night air. He knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, with you by his side, he could handle them all.
After Steve opened your door, helping you get in without hitting your head, you turned back to the house as Steve rounded the car. Your parents stood on the edge of the porch, expressions soft. They waved, smiled gracing their face. Their little girl was with someone who seemed nice. He was respectful; he helped clean up and respected you and them. He listened when you talked, eyes scanning your face. A few times, they caught him smiling as he admired you. He even fixed a piece of hair that had fallen in your face.
They were willing to welcome him back anytime, as long as he made you happy.

A knight in Shining ...denim ( Mechanic!Eddie Munson x Reader )
Tumblr media
summary : one day a woman shows up to the shop only for eddie to find out she the new receptionist changing his work space , life and feelings .
warning: mutual pinning , idiots in love , no upside down here ( soz ) jason carver is alive ( again soz ) sort of age gap ( eddies like early thirties where reader is mid twenties ) , 18+ no smut but allusions to it
It’s not that working wasn’t the bain of existence because he actually loved the shop , working on the cars  listening to music of his own choosing even being able to squash some of the stupid assumptions people had about him although it was also the downside of working  there was some people still thought he was the devil incarnate. Some of his old highschool associates could he even call them that would come in with minor or even non existent problems just to make some off handed or down right insult him . the snobby asshole who once we jocks now owning their own small town businesses thinking they were donald trump or some sort of multi billionaire , or they constantly  bring up their successful marriages and  families when eddie dates consisted on woman that preferred to keep him as a secret . life was still like high school to these fucks .   then like a shift in the wind working during one of the hottest days of the year when he heard a clearing of a throat and sound of a knock. Pulling himself out from under the car only to have the wind knocked out of his lungs .
“ are you eddie ?” soft velvet voice hitting his ear drums like a piece of heaven on earth .
“ what can i do you for sweetheart ?” .
“ oh didn’t frank tell you i’m the new receptionist …  i thought he told me you would show me around… i’m y/n by the way  “ her brows furrowed in such an adorable way he almost melted to the spot .
“  you don’t mind if i just double check make sure you not some new hot thief that steals from the auto repair shops  or i would be in so much shit “  only for a laugh to fall from her lips  standing little taller making a pretty lady laugh was always an ego boost .  the two stood patiently as frank suddenly remembered but eddie never blamed the guy he was getting older at first working there well it was a favour for his uncle wayne  giving the two were buddies  .
“ So check out although i don’t think you’ve been fully briefed in what the job entails” he winced slowly walking over to the office he swore one of these days he was going to tidy up .  opening the door waiting to hear a gasp or for her to storm out and say not my problem .
“ holy shit “ was probably selling it lightly at the chaos of files everywhere . “ ok take what you need for today and i will do the rest “  she nodded walking more trying not to knock over the stacked boxes and create more of mess although it wasn’t like it would really make a difference.   Eddie doing just that in truth he was still that whole the day even the first week waiting for her to run out of there. Only thing was he was not allowed step foot in the office until then  . everytime she would open the door a little  handing him out paperwork  he needed or receipts til  maybe the middle of the second week she finally opened the shutters on the small office which he honestly never even noticed they were shutters to begin with .  then one day while he was eating lunch he watched her with a trolley carrying boxes into the garage only to see cleaning supplies while throwing out the near ancient ones . by the end of the month well it was like a whole other place  , old furniture replaced  in the waiting area , the break room was cleaned out and refreshed , even returning customers wondered if they were in the right place  and word travelled fast the new changes to the shop , the new beautiful receptionist .  which second part he was kinda sad she was thought of in such a way it was like his own greedy little secret .
Working day in and day out together for that time too became fast friends he almost smacked his head when he heard her blasting metallica in as she cleaned or how hard his mouth fell open when he found out she was franks granddaughter . which explained how she was able to get approval for everything so easily or why she didn’t run for the hill when she first saw the place. It was also a surprise to see steve harrington driving in giving that eddie already repaired the bmw the weekend just gone.
“ harrington “ he arched his brow .
“ the windshield wiper fell off that like safety thing right?” he asked looking around everywhere but at eddie.
“ fell off … did you pull this off “he gasp seeing the mangled state of piece in his hand.
“ no why would he do that now” robin voice called as she too was looking around the space.
“ you helped it wouldn’t have to do with the news of a certain lady that start working here would it ?” he mused looking at his close friends who in his opinion couldn’t lie for shit.
“ oh hey welcome  would you guys like a cup of coffee “ the voice of angel rang out as the two stood goofy smiles on their faces.
“ sweetheart no need for the niceness these are my friends actually more like pest robin and steve this is y/n , y/n robin and steve” he chuckled.
“ oh nice to meet you both … did a bear attack your wipers “ her head tilted looking down at the scrap metal in Eddie's hands.
“ yeah i had to fight it off save my car “ steve nodded trying to appear strong and buff only for his friends faces to scrunch in disgust.
“ yeah right  yogi bear , soo y/n how old are you … single ?” Robin smiled sweetly.
“ erm i’m 25 and yeah i’m single .. I spend so much time here to even find a boyfriend  “ she laughed .
“ ignore those two .. you heading out ?”
“ oh thought i get us lunch was just coming  out to see what you wanted .. or you guys wanted if your friends want to join”
“ yes “ ..”they were just leaving “ the three spoke in unison .
“ hey why don’t  i come with you i know what they like and plus  make a new friend “ robin linked arms already leading her out the door .
“ I taught her too well “ steve sighed .
“ yeah cause your swimming in the ladies lately” Eddie teased walking to the car trying to  see where to even begin .
“ i’ll have you know i’ve a date for tonight munson “ .
“ so why are you flirting with my hot coworker harrington ?”
“ cause she hot plus i’m not the only one  you do realise more repairs  lately have be guys wrecking their cars on purpose to try and talk to her ?” steve snorted.
“ so you admit that you broke the windshield wiper … wait that why we’ve been so busy lately?” eddie turned his head to the side  as steve nodded his head yes .
“ come on man she new and well she easy on the eyes  and yeah she gonna be a hot ticket in town “ .
“ she not just a pretty face man , she funny and goofy and great music taste that dio album playing she brought that in from home and she friendly and kind makes the old gals feel like vip honestly she the best” eddie beaming smile only made steve eyes widened.
“ oh my god you love her”
“ dude i know her a month and couple of week i do not love her” scoffing pretending like it wasn’t close to it . which in his defense was a cruel joke on universe part to put her so close knowing a woman like that would never go for a guy like him, girls like that make guys like him the best friend or close friends it was a cruel thing but it was a fact he could already see unfolding . barely listening to steve drowning on, not even realising he was moved on to a new topic of conversation til the time past and the girls were back robin was more friendly then flirt must of picking up that y/n was straight well he thinks she was .  steve and robin thought they could see it , the lingering touches or the fact her eyes would be on eddie  or how they would quickly move before he could catch her bluntly checking him out .
It went on like that for weeks both looking when the other wasn’t or slightly flirty undertones of exchanges that they would brush off thinking they were reading too much into it .  another thing it was always just at work it was like the friendship or whatever it was only extended to the walls of franks automobile repair shop not that the two didn’t want to like anytime they went to extend it ,they would chicken out or say something completely different . soon  it was a year that had passed since y/n came to the shop , a year of trying to convince himself that he wasn’t in love or that he wasn’t good enough for the woman who gave him sweet words every single day .  like the day she arrived it was hottest day of the year and like it was the universe was trying to kill him when she walked in the door wearing pair of shorts and tank top looking like one of those supermodels on the coke and pepsi commercials . he could feel his throat go dry and his mouth water  trying not to stare at the way the shorts hugged her ass so right  or how perfect her cleavage was in the tank top or how he was sure to melt and evaporate all in one.  Then like the universe called he sensed the real devil in town . jason carver and his bum chum andy another two idiots who still thought they were in highschool .
“ I got these, would you check the inventory please  “ he called as y/n gave him a nod and a quick good morning.
“ well looks like your still here huh munson and still the  one fixing the cars , i thought you at least be manager or something “ that smug smirk on his face , the pearly veneers that his buddy never told him look ridiculous .
“ what can i do you for gentlemen”
“ it’s making weird noise cop told me get checked out or next time he’d give me a ticket.. Hey were the hot piece of ass that works here maybe i could service her while you service my car” he chuckled looking around .
“ her name is y/n not piece of ass and she working “ the glare if it could kill jason carver would fall to the ground dead , usually the comment never hurt shit he’s heard it all since he was a kid learned to grow tick skin but hearing them talk about y/n was different .
“ go get her then i wanna talk to her about the price of all this not that matters maybe throw her a bone give her taste of a good thing instead of being here with your deadbeat ass all time i mean i’m sure she nice to you all time cause she feels sorry for you “ he snickered as andy high fived him .
“ i mean i seen her man she definitely wouldn’t be into satan spawn here … you like her don’t you munson … what you think girl like that chooses to be here listening to these noise you call music “ andy snide smile as two found themselves hilarious but what they didn’t know was said woman was listening to everything, finding that part of her that wouldn’t end up in a orange jumpsuit . how dare they talk down to eddie like that one of the funniest , goofiest sweethearts that was basically sex on legs . how drooled over her work as she watched him bent over the hood of a car or how she had to clench her thighs when she saw his arm muscle contract along with the ink on his body . how dear these two personality void asswipes talk down to anyone when they looked like dollar store versions of wall street nope not in this world or the next would she let anyone talk down to eddie not on her watch . she didn’t even have a plan nor did she wanna even think of the consequences of what she was about to do it could wait another time . instead she came out of the closet before jason carver could even get anything out of his mouth she pulled eddie by his overalls and crashing her lips against his taking every single male in the room off guard including the one she kissed only to pinch his side to bring him to reality  well it wasn’t reality for him , he was sure this was a dream because it was like so many of the ones he woke up painfully hard from . it had to be a dream because this felt too perfect , too right . like every nearvein his body was under her control as it came to life from just her touch .
“ oh shoot sorry i didn’t even notice you guys”the coy smile as she pulled back from clearing of a throat. It wasn’t a true lie she did actually forget the two  were there after a while getting lost in the feeling and taste of eddie on her lips .
“ really the town freak”
“ really those highlights “ she shot back , “ those clothes i mean  i get you guys got money but shit you got no personality as for eddie being a lowly mechanic he’s been running the place since he started , he is this place but you wouldn’t know that since you work for daddy “ she rolled her eyes .
“ so what your just some slut anyways “ .
“ ah as well as no personality , no brains either best you can do is slut ok my turn …. You rich boy never been told his whole like so well you been a prick all your life and who can blame you when toupee tommy which isn’t fooling anyone here bigs you up when your insult hurt as much as a feather … now do you want the car that clearly is compensation for the fact you got nothing going on down there or your free to leave” she batted her eyelashes  while eddie on the other hand never though his feelings could grow even more.
“ your a receptionist why should i care what you say  , your both trash literally a fuck and dump is all your worth “ .
“ and all your worth is nothing , yeah you may get girls but it’s for the money and even that isn’t worth sticking around for , which is why you have more girlfriends than you’ve had birthdays , oh and lets not pretend that you have actually friends because the second you go broke you will have no one not even toupee timmy who’s afraid to tell you those veneers make you look like a horse that died decades ago and now looks like a bad taxidermy job  so now do you want the car fixed or do you wanna leave because those are your opinions my friend either learn some manners or drive to another place “ she smiled sweetly like andy didn’t like he was going to start crying suddenly the universe and eddie were great old school pals as  looked weighing their options . through gritted teeth and almost killing him to say it but small town there wasn’t a luxury of going somewhere else and the other repair shop  well  he had a messy situation there too . through the whole interaction eddie stood looking at her like she save him and his whole family from a burning building or she hung the sun, moon and stars and after that fuck she did in his eyes.  The two men stood usually quiet while eddie got to work it wasn’t a tough repair but with those two tried to do it themselves when it would of been a whole other mess . once paid and speeding the hell out of there as she wave ever so sweetly .  like pride filled his body almost forgetting himself in the moment when he picked her up and spun her in a circle , placing his lips on her until he pulled back wide eyed thinking he overstepped the boundary that the other kiss was for show.
“ shit sorry .. fuck “ he pulled back cursing himself .
“ eddie..” she went to begin but he went on his own rant.
“ i am sorry i know you did it to get the guys off my back i stupidly though ..but why would a girl like you like a lo.. Ouch did you just pinch me “ he gasped probably a little over dramatic but then again it wouldn’t be eddie if he wasn’t .
“ yes because you were going to go on about being a lowly trailer park kid and shit ? wanna know what i think ?” she asked.
“ if it like what you told carver i’d rather you hit me with a wrench instead … here” he winced handing her the wrench making her roll her eyes she wasn’t new to deflecting humour  she practically mastered it herself .
“ i see a man who knows how to appreciate things in life like friends and possession, one that even if he did have a ton of money would spend it on his friend than to show off what he had , one of those people that would make sure everyone is ok before himself , a funny silly man who enjoys entertaining those around him , big nerd but honestly nerds are hotter “ she winked . “ also if you haven’t gathered i kinda of kissed you first and it wasn’t fully for those guys but maybe my own selfish reason of wanting to kiss the hottest guy in town by a mile “ she added slowly walking towards him placing her soft hand  on nap of his neck puling him down to her level so she could place a kiss on his lips .
“  i mean sometimes i do wanna hit you with the wrench but like ninety seven percent of the time i wanna do that” she pulled back only for him to walk over hitting the shutter before lifting her up .
“ well if we're showing off what we wanna do my little knight in shining ... denim let me really show you what i  really wanna do with you “ a wolfish grin and new found confidence maybe the shop could shut earlier for the day .

Steve was lying on the floor of Robin's room, his back against the wall as he let Robin paint his toenails while he flipped through one of her magazines. The radio played softly in the background.
"I am totally new to having a girlfriend, and by girlfriend, I mean platonic girlfriend," Robin said.
"Well, that's one thing we got in common, I don't think I've ever had a girl who's just a friend," Steve said.
"What about Perkins?" Robin asked.
"She doesn't count, I hated her. She's the reason Tommy became such an asshole," Steve said.
"Hm, yeah," Robin said and paused. "So, how close were you and Tommy?"
"Well, we were friends since we were eight. We pretty much bonded over the fact that we both had assholes for fathers. We shared everything and told each other everything. He told me about his first crush, and I told him about my first crush. We practiced kissing, practiced having sex, and when I got first kiss, I told him immediately," Steve said.
"Woah, woah, woah! Back it up!" Robin exclaimed, and she closed the nail polish. "What the fuck do you mean you practiced kissing and having sex with Tommy Hagan?"
"Exactly what it means," Steve said, rolling his eyes. "We hadn't gotten girlfriends yet, and we wanted to get good before we did. It doesn't mean anything. We like women, so it didn't count."
"It still counts!" Robin shrieked. "Did you or did you not put your lips on Tommy's?"
"Yeah, and I also let Tommy put his dick in my ass. I was basically his pillow," Steve said as he continued to casually flip through the magazine. "It doesn't count if you're not gay, Robin."
"It doesn't work like that! Steve Harrington, the first time you had sex was with Tommy Hagan!" Robin exclaimed.
"It was not!" Steve exclaimed, throwing down the magazine.
"Was too!" She yelled.
"Was not!" Steve yelled.
"Okay! So, let's say if I kissed you right now. . .," Robin said.
"Wouldn't count as your first kiss, you're a lesbian and I'm straight," Steve said.
Robin grinned, a manic look in her eye. She pulled her hand back and slapped Steve across the face. He screamed.
"Didn't count! I'm a lesbian and you're straight!" Robin yelled.
"Okay, okay, I see your point. Jesus, did you have to hit me so hard?" Steve asked, rubbing his red cheek.
"Yeah, dingus, I did," Robin said.
"Okay, so my first kiss was with Tommy, and I lost my virginity. We're not gay, though," Steve said.
"No, just desperate and very horny teenagers, apparently," Robin rolled her eyes. "I can't believe you had gay sex before me, and you're not even gay. I bet you pictured some blond with big boobies."
"Well, no, actually," Steve shrugged.
"Hm, what do you mean?" Robin asked.
"I didn't have to picture a woman. I liked it," Steve shrugged.
"You liked it?!" Robin asked.
"Well, I am a man, Robin," Steve said.
"Uh, except not every man likes it when another man rams it up his asshole," Robin said. "Okay, I kind of wish I had been more delicate about this, but I didn't know this was you being in denial kind of situation."
"I'm straight, Robin, I like women," Steve said.
"Yeah, and did you know that you can like men and women?" Robin asked.
"What?" Steve asked.
Robin smiled and got up to pull out a box from underneath her bed. She pulled out a magazine and tossed it at Steve.
"Read it, study it, learn from it," Robin said.
Steve looked at it quizzically for a moment before opening it. He stared at it for the longest time before finally closing it.
"I am an idiot," Steve said.
"No, you're not. You just didn't know," she said softly.
"Bisexual," Steve whispered, and then he pinched the bridge of his nose. "Oh my god, this whole time, I thought I lost my virginity to Chrissy Cunningham."
"Chrissy Cunningham?" Robin asked.
"Uh, we used to hang out all the time before she started dating Jason Carver," Steve said. "Our parents ran in the same circles."
"Well, you know, I guess you could say you lost your guy virginity to Tommy Hagan and your girl virginity to Chrissy Cunningham," Robin said.
"Yeah, that's true," Steve grinned. "Thanks, Robin, and especially thank you for giving me that slap. I definitely needed it."
"Anytime that you want me to hit you, I'm your woman," Robin replied.
They moved towards Robin's window sill and sat on it, opening a window to get some fresh air.
"You know this means that I'm not straight," Steve said.
"Something else we have in common," she said.
"You ever wonder how many out there who are like me and who just don't know?" he asked as he looked up at the moon. "Here in Hawkins, I mean."
"Probably a lot more than we think," Robin said. "And they're out there, sitting in their closets wondering if they're ever going escape themselves or be rescued."
"Isn't crazy how we found ourselves?" Steve said.
"Maybe queer people just end up finding each other," Robin said.
"Well, maybe they'll find their way out themselves," Steve said and then he looked her, hazel eyes twinkling in the moonlight. "Seriously, Robin, thank you."
"You did that yourself, you know, you just needed a nudge. I mean, you could have told me to go fuck myself and continued to live in denial," Robin said. "You're a lot smarter than you give yourself credit for."
Steve smiled bashfully and glanced back at the moon. He looked at her, with tears in his eyes.
"Is it possible to be platonically in love with someone?" he asked.
"I think anything is possible," she said. "I think it's a definite because I know that I'm absolutely, platonically in love with you."
They dangled their feet out the window and leaned against each other, Steve resting his head on top of Robin's.
"I wish I'd known you sooner," he whispered.
"I wish I'd known you sooner, too," she whispered back.
They were here now, though, and absolutely nothing could get in between them.

you do know that Billy is racist right...
*sighhhhhhhh* Alright, here we go…
Typically I don’t like getting into this argument because you’re not supposed to argue with a POC about what’s racist and what isn’t (I don’t actually know if you are poc or not this is a general statement I’m making), I know I don’t because it just doesn’t feel right, but here’s the thing.
When it comes to this character the one line he said that everyone’s going crazy for I’m going to have to disagree here because it’s just 1. too vague of a statement, of course you could argue that Billy talking about Lucas’ skin colour is implied in his statement and I agree, but not for the reasons you think.
And 2. there’s a reason Dacre changed this scene with the duffers regarding Billy’s potential racism because you’re creating a character who’s an antagonist who originally had no reason to be bad (until Dacre suggested the scene with his father) and then you wanna add racism into the mix? if the duffers really wanted to bring up the issue of racism during the 80s especially in small secluded areas like Hawkins, I’m pretty sure it would’ve been an actual subplot, but no they just wanted to use it as an additional reason to make Billy’s character initially unlikeable and it was so poorly written into the script and also Dacre was just straight up uncomfortable acting out that whole sequence so we can safely say the concept of Billy being a racist is scrapped from canon all together. I’m explaining this from the perspective of a film student because you can’t write an antagonist without a plausible reason and motive to be bad, so Dacre humanizing him and giving him that back story and lore is exactly what you do when it comes to character work, especially for antagonists like Billy (unless you wanna make the villain a basic villain with a basic story arc who’s sole purpose is to get in the hero’s way and die trying but in this case Billy never did that. He never really got into anyone’s way besides at the end of season 2 but it’s because he had no idea what’s going on and in HIS mind he thinks he’s saving Max from a fucked up situation. And im not even going to start with season 3 because we all know; bro was possessed, he wasn’t himself, Vecna was acting out entirely through him Billy had no say in any of it. In fact he even showed remorse and shame during the little time Vecna let him be in control of himself before abruptly taking over.) Also, yes you can be from an educated and woke society (California is a blue state and the equal opportunities act in the states already passed and Billy leaves for hawkins in fall 1984 so it’s already well established in society at that time that being racist is not acceptable) and still be a bigot, but I really just don’t believe this is the case for Billy.
What I think the issue here is his father, now hear me out, hear me out.
In the book “Runaway Max” it is brought up that Neil is a huge supporter of Reagen who at the time was a republican and attempted to abolish the equal opportunities act bill but ultimately failed of course. Max even says it herself that Neil is racist and a white supremacist. What does that tell you? His father is the whole problem. Because we all know that Billy gets beaten and blamed for everything that happens whether it’s Max’s fault or his Neil will take any excuse to physically hurt Billy. And being how Neil is so adamant on Billy watching over Max and being in charge of her, what would happen if Neil caught Max with Lucas who is black and we know Neil’s views on that demographic of people? What do you think would happen?
Of course, we could also bring up that if Billy was racist it would be a learned behaviour from his father. Though, to be honest, considering how much Billy tries to rebel against his father, I think it’s safe to say that would include Neil’s morals and beliefs, so I highly doubt it.
Going back to my first point, I think Billy did say that about Lucas not because he hates Lucas but because his father would and would take out that well known hatred out on Billy. It was more of a warning for both of their safety because of how insane Neil is. That’s why I think Billy said that and acted that way in terms of their friendship because he doesn’t want to deal with the consequences of his father’s wrath.
We can also see this in season 3, when Billy is working full time, starting to take control of his life (likely saving up money so he could leave and move back to California) he doesn’t even care about what Max is doing let alone dating Lucas, he’s too busy trying to get his life together.
So no, I don’t think Billy is a racist and I’ve listed all of my reasons why from a canonical standpoint using evidence from the story, plus my own analysis on his character as an actor myself.
Now from a shifter’s standpoint; I really don’t wanna hear y’all judge my choice of S/O considering some of y’all shift for active psychopaths and murderers meanwhile I’m shifting for a dude who’s been deeply traumatized and wants to live his life in peace and find true love.
To conclude; this is entirely my opinion and my belief on the topic. If you believe the opposite you’re fully entitled to, no one’s gonna attack you or try to convince you otherwise. But the thing is with people like myself who like Billy’s character and indulge in his lore and fanfiction we’re constantly getting criticized and harassed and even as far as labeled as bad people just because we view him from a different perspective. I believe it’s time we all grow up and respect each other’s opinions because not everyone agrees with everyone and that’s the way of the world. freedom of thought freedom of speech.
(goddamn this was a long rant but i had to say my peace)

Sex Pollen but make it 🎄Christmas 🎄
What if the florist in Hawkins ended up with a contaminated order of Mistletoe, and what if that Mistletoe helped everyone to lust after whoever, and whatever it is that they want most.
Steve Harrington, finally gets the guy.
Robin Buckley, finally gets the girls (Yes that s is intentional)
And Jim Hopper, finally gets it up the ass.
