I got my brother's gf to watch the Legend of Hei movie yesterday, only to find out upon playing that the subs I had on my copy had translated the characters' names 😭😭😭😭

Now she calls Feng Xi and Wuxian as Stormend and Infinity WHAT HAVE I DONE 😭😭😭

This is a lot of specifics for a lot of people who have only showed up like once so far or haven't fully tapped into their element yet T-T)9

how would fusion and what ever zeatrixes elements work in legacyverse where would they go in the compass? -> As mentioned, they'd probably be considered Outlier Elements given that the FSM never mastered them. If Technology is a Lightning Outlier and Heat is Fire Outlier, thennnnnnn I've been considering Fusion as another Ice Outlier (since it's ability to "change the shape/purpose of objects" aligns nicely with the likes of Water, Form, and Gravity if you squint), whiiiiiiich would then leave Element Z as another Earth Outlier. Pending, of course.

what about geo what would he be like when it comes to cole jesse and cam -> I'm not saying a WORD about Geo until he shows up in at least one more episode (I'm expecting some kind of Avengers team-up of these new oneshot EM's/allies against Ras' plans tbqh) but you can have this to chew on if you want

how would the source dragons fit into your element lore -> Currently they don't! Though I personally hope they somehow tie it back to the First Realm and its dragons cuz that'd be cool and thematically fitting

would wyldfyre immediately unlocked her potential the moment she got her powers since she could use them right after the merge happened (same question for euphrasia and geo) -> I'm chalking it up to ~residual merge phenomena~ giving these guys their powers from the get-go, since (presumably) all of them were older than 14 anyway (aka the age attunement starts to show). That being said, just because they have (mostly) full control of their powers doesn't mean they've achieved their "True Potential" (as we've seen with Sora...and even Jesse in the current time, if we wanna be truly pedantic)

when riyu activates soras powers with his spark would it count as her having a controlled artificial outburst -> yeah, that's about how I'd describe it. Although it still hasn't been really established what Riyu's whole deal is to begin with, so, pending!

what would be sora's, wyldfyre's, euphrasia's and geo's nrg/elemental abilities be -> Dunno, still wanna see more from them before making a call that big. Except for Euphrasia; she probably has the same NRG/Elemental Ability as Morro, but fine-tuned towards herself (and maybe instead of Stormcaller she has Stormender, or something)

And if you don’t mind can you plz do and eye color reference chart for geo and zeatrix and maybe euphrasia if wind being associated with white in the show now had changed anything with the eye color -> Maybe one day, but like I said I wanna see more from Geo first (cuz his element seems to have a lot of cool-toned power colors, even more than Wyldfyre, but then his eyes are already yellow-orange which is like the complete opposite fdjhgfdghfd), we still dunno what Element Z is so I don't have all that much to work off of (though that pending power color is definitely gonna be Wisteria), and I'm still associating Wind with Jade...so Euphrasia's got some brand new stuff to worry about

stormender launcher disappoints me because like even if its a launcher designed exclusively to destroy killstreaks its still just so fucking slow. like if you're giving us a launcher that does literally 0 damage to players then i feel like it should at least be obliterating scorestreaks but instead its just toonk. . toonk . . toonk . . and now the uav is down like c'mon at least up the firerate on this thing a little

So the thing about "The Legend of Hei" is Stormend and his folk arent exactly in the wrong until they nearly kill a kid that should be one of theirs. In alot of ways they do have a right to that land. And its rather terrible the world they live in has become so human centric; pushing them out in the process. (ive only seen the movie. So i cant yet speak on the rest of the series. dont join the conversation with spoilers.) And as he said "soon their wont be anywhere without humans" they are consistently being pushed out of their homes and forced to adapt to the humans way of life. A way of life that supposedly "forbids standing out" and "forbids flying without permission". Which that second may just be for "enforcers" but I dont assume so. Both these seem like foolish controling rules. Why shouldnt one fly? It wouldnt hurt anyone. You wouldnt forbid someone from walking down the street. Whats wrong with them flying down the street or over some buildings? And what counts as "standing out". Both rules sound concerningly like "conform".

Its all a complicated issue. One the movie frames around a very powerful and unaware child thrown in the middle.

Vermax loved this weather, he loved the way the heat reflected off his wings, and being here on the beach meant that he had the freedom to travel wherever he pleased. But it didn’t feel right being here without Arrax and his brother. Nor knowing how his brothers travels to stormend had gone. He had barely remembered arriving in the North himself. But above all, he knew his mother would have the answers, he just hoped that he would be able to find her, and he had hoped there would be even a spotting of the golden beast that was Syrax. 

But he had begun to doubt himself, he whistled for Vermax to join him back on the sand before the dragon paused, blowing smoke at him and tilting his head towards the other side of the beach where he spotted the familiar women, the tell of the platinum hair giving her away with ease. “Mother?” He called out, hands shaking as he approached her bowing his head. “I’m sorry I did not return.”

De tak boog onder 't gewicht en wipte bij elke beweging, taai lijk een wisse, en de jongen wachte een beetje als in beraad met begin van vervaardheid. De blaren ruisten als onder een zachte ademhaal, met blauw-speierend zonnelicht tussen de vlindering. Opeens schoot de jongen een voet van de tak, een grabbeling en Maarten hing bij de handen alleen nog vast. Allemaal voelden zij als een slag in de borst en lust om te tieren - maar dat lijf ging nu heftig aan 't zwaaien, de voeten grepen weer steun onder 't heftig buigen van de tak en nu hing de jongen met de rug naar beneden, maar vast omsloten hielden handen en voeten. GRIBSKOV: Der var udsigt til vindstød af orkanstyrke, og hos Gribskov Beredskab var man i den grad klar til at rykke ud - heldigvis blev det langtfra så slemt som frygtet og de store skader udeblev. Efter en våd og forblæst fredag eftermiddag og gennem natten til lørdag, hvor stormen Otto fik flyttet lidt om på løse genstande og et par træer i kommunen, så har vinden nu lagt sig. Rundt om i landet nåede middelvinden mange steder op på hård- til stormende kuling, med vindstød af stormstyrke. Det var dog kun i Jylland at der blev målt vindstød af orkanstyrke, og højdespringeren var her på 34 sekundmeter. Lørdag morgen er vinden i Gribskov aftaget, og ifølge DMI vil resten af weekenden byde på lidt regn men efterhånden kommer solen mere til sin ret. Ild i container Det var stormen Otto som der var forventet at give udfordringer, men fredagens første udrykninger var til to adresser i Gribskov hvor en automatisk brandmelder var blevet udløst. Her var der i begge tilfælde tale om falske alarmer, og mandskabet kunne hurtigt returnere. Den første alvorlige alarm indløb kl. 19.22, hvor der var brand i en container på Villingebæk Strandvej og der var risiko for skade på et par biler som holdt tæt på den brændende container. Brandmandskabet fra Gilleleje rykkede ud og kunne hurtigt slå ilden ned, og brandårsagen viste sig at være noget aske som beboere på stedet havde smidt ud i containeren. Vinden havde fået nogle oversete gløder til at blusse op og starte ilden i containeren. Træ væltet ned i elledninger Brandmandskabet i Helsinge blev alarmeret omkring kl. 21.00 om et væltet træ på Kagerup Stationsvej, træet var væltet så uheldigt at træet lå ned i elledningerne og dermed var der risiko for at elledningerne skulle knække og falde ned på vejbanen. Sprøjte og stigevogn fra brandstationen i Helsinge kørte straks til stedet, hvor mandskabet måtte bruge stigevognen for at komme til grenene som der hang ned i elledningerne. Efter grenene var viklet ud af elledningerne, blev resten af træet skåret ned til en sikker højde. Helsingørvej i Helsinge og Fyrvangen i Gilleleje.
