Name: Saturn

Weapon: energy handgun with silencer

Bio: Saturn is the Leader of the Cyclonian Resistance and mother of two sons, Capricorn and Titan. She lost her husband a long time, as she raised them all on her own and cherishes them so much that she hopes that Capricorn will grow up to become a Sky Knight. However, she was later taken away by the Cyclonians as the last thing she remember seeing was her son Capricorn reaching out for her. She was brought upon Cyclonis to either serve for the Cyclonians or suffer the wrath of losing her two sons and never seeing them again. She obliged to obey Cyclonis’s command and worked her ranks to a Commander as she trained and proved herself to be worthy of the ranks. After a while, she was able to rally a few talons to join the Cyclonian Resistance and forge a trust in them in exchange their loved ones and families will be taken to safety. As long as she plays along with pretending to obey to Cyclonis’s every command and ensures her resistance that there is hope of an era of peace, but for now she has to keep a mask on her face that presents the cold-blooded executioner who serves Master Cyclonis. After all, she spares no sympathy for Sky Knights who have had their wings clipped by her, all to protect her people in Terra Celestial and her two sons.

I've been working on her for awhile and I am pleased with how it worked out. She was the last one I needed to do and this challenge just gave me an excuse.

Cyclonis and the Cyclonian Royal Family

Aka I gave this girl a family and then had to figure out why so many of them are absent from the show. This was the second most popular option in that poll I posted, so here we go.

I headcanon Cyclonia to be a matriarchy. Every ruler of the Empire since its founding has been a woman, with rare exceptions when the men take the position of regents for one reason or another. Even if the firstborn of a generation is a boy, they will never have a claim to the throne.

Queen Alyka Prosperis was the second ruler of Cyclonia after its founding as a kingdom. She was gifted the throne by First Queen Marinia, as they were close friends prior to Marinia's death. Since then Alyka's descendants have ruled Cyclonia and its expanding empire in one of the longest-running bloodlines in recorded history. No one is entirely sure who her partner was, who helped father the bloodline.

Master Polaris is a black mark on the royal family's history. Many say she cursed all the men in her family to take the form of monsters, in a fit of jealousy towards her brother Hemlock. Ever since then, the men of Cyclonia's royal family have been sickly and weak.

Cyclonis's great-grandmother is Master Roburis. Originally the youngest of four sisters, Roburis was not expected to rise to power. Then a plague hit Cyclonia, devastating the royal family and leaving her as the last survivor of her sisters. She wasn't a particularly attentive mother to her daughter, Morrigan, and some sources say she's the one to blame for instigating war with the Free Atmos, only to palm off the fallout onto the next generation.

Empress Morrigan Anarchis started her reign with the goal of doing better than her mother. Instead, she lead Cyclonia into a 50 year war that didn't end with her death, and repeated history by handing it off to Cyclonis. There are rumours that she orchestrated the assassination of her own husband and let the Sky Knights take blame for it in an incident that almost killed her only child, Cyclamen. She wasn't particularly popular as a ruler when she died, in fact it was no secret that the public greatly favoured Dark Ace over her.

Delphinium Cyclonis was seen as a symbol of hope for Cyclonia. A chance to finally end the war one way or another, but unfortunately she proved to be just as bullheaded as her grandmother. More concerned with learning new magical secrets and accessing the far side than actually ruling her Empire, it all ended in disaster after Cyclonia Rising. Now her brothers Larkspur and Cardin (Cardin largely belongs to @ashe-alter, thank you for helping me figure out these brothers :3) are struggling to pick up the pieces.

Do you know any Nightcrawlers? Like, are they all independent little guys or is there some Hive mind stuff at work there?

I've met a few Nightcrawlers. There's a half Nightcrawler half merb I hang out with sometimes. He works with explosives, which is great.

They live in a have, but I know nothing of a hive mind?

They're all pretty independent but communal. I've never been in the hive myself, but Naius, the half merb I meantioned, he's told me some things. It sounds like a horror movie, but he's happy.

There's also Sidian who's a commander in their ranks.

He's definitely intimidating, but he and his brother also adopted a human baby they found years ago, so he's good in my book.

Ravess' Theme Metal Version from Storm Hawks

I remember watching this show when I was a kid and this character's theme always stuck to me. It sounded like something from Super Mario or Kirby.

I finally finished my redesigns for the Storm Hawks Villains! Same sort of deal as my previous ones, giving them a bit more of a uniform with modified flight suits (except for Cyclonis, of course). Also aged everyone up here as well, I think at the very least the Dark Ace should be older, maybe early 40s? ANYWAY these designs are entirely self indulgent and give me something a bit more fun to do for fan art and redraws that lend my style better. I do still enjoy the originals, I promise <3 Maybe I'll do some screenshot redraws next? Who knows

How would you portray each storm hawk personally, theor personality ect.

I am literally salivating at the mouth at the question rn 💞 OKEY SO, I am going to try to keep it short cuz if I tried to put every single thought I have of Storm Hawks down I would probably pass the non-existent word limit XD these are just my headcanons tho lol

Aerrow: He is under a lot of pressure to unite the kingdoms and finally bring peace to all of Atmos to the point he let his role as the sky knight of the Storm Hawks consume his personality. Finn has his guitar, Junko has his scrap but all Aerrow has is his training (and occasional air surfing) he lets himself have fun, but it's generally for the sake of his teammates. Don't get me wrong he is an amazing leader and even a better warrior but that's all he ever lets himself be while Atmos is still threatened by the Cyclonians. He is an ridiculously brave adrenalin addict with a good heart that, in the end of the day, wants both Atmos and Cyclonia to have their good ending.

Piper: Curious and ever-questioning by nature. She is almost obsessive with her crystal work and willing to lose countless hours of sleep for it. She is clever, understandably strict and can be snobbish at times, especially in the presence of people she admires. She has a good heart and shares Aerrow sentiment for both sides of the war to have their good ending.

Finn: He has an inflated ego, a wild imagination and hyperactive tendencies. Despite his arrogant and sometimes cowardly behavior, he is competent. He enjoys annoying Piper and getting up to mischief with Junko, but at the end of the day, his antics are harmless and he knows to own up to something he actually messed up in (like the episode where Aerrow broke all the bones in his body)

Junko: He has no self confidence, despite his feats, and relies on Finn to hype him up. Despite being in front lines of war, he hates conflict and fights between his friends and generally doesn't know how to behave when it's directed at him. He is actually an amazing cook, the only problem is wallop food can't really be digested by humans.

Stork: Two words. Anxiety and trauma. He is generally cowardly and avoids facing the enemy outside of his safe space that is the Condor. He is erratic and his behavior gets unpredictable outside of Condor (like when he ate a crystal and got stuck with a raptor) he is an amazing plot, shown by the fact he can keep the older-than-100-years and falling apart Condor up, running and even winning against Cyclonia. I genuinely believe Condor wouldn't last a week without him to be her life support.

Radarr: The team pet that hates being called that. I have nothing bad to say about him. Perfection personified. Third best character in the show. I am very very biased about cute animals. He is brave, competent and knows how to keep a falling apart skimmer afloot. Rebuild a rusty old skimmer. Let him fly the Condor. I love him.

I don't know how to start this.

It feels like I'm not in control of what's happening anymore. That's why I became a medic to have some control but now?

Now I feel like what little freedom I had as a medic for Cyclonia has been ripped away.

I mean promotions are kind a common, like crazy common but not in the Medical Wing seeing as how we aren't in the line of fire

I also feel like an idiot for crying Infront of Master Cyclonis and the Talon Commanders like that...

I think I know who as it and that means its my fault Maverick is dead.

to add to this Master Cyclonis made some changed to the position of Chief Medic, I'm now only allowed to tend to the higher ups, meaning the Commanders and a few of the generals, but mainly the Commanders, and actively going on missions now.

it was a nightmare treating Dark Ace the one time, but having to do so regularly? and go on missions with him and the others?

I guess the only thing good about this is the new uniform?

anyway, the Medical Wing is going to hold a small gathering to honor Maverick. He was a good man, scouted out and trained a lot of the medics that work here. Myself included, I don't know where I'd be without him.

He deserved better. I don't know what possessed a guy like that to work for Cyclonia, especially since he wasn't Cyclonian like the majority of us...
