The fifty-ninth card of the Tarot is associated with the first ten degrees of Aquarius- Uranus in Aquarius. This is a dynamic and active mental energy, likely to be engaged in a certain amount of conflict. It can have a rebellious nature, maybe impulsive, potentially overconfident. It’s interested in going its own, likely somewhat unconventional way. It asks us to choose our battles wisely. It could be thoughts that are difficult to control, maybe restlessness, and the need for a constructive outlet. This could be youth pushing boundaries, a lively debate club, theater/scripts/playing roles, creative writing, or heated discussion. Though there’s often difficulty associated with this card, there’s also observing, learning and progress.
Stork’s bill is a symbol of gracefulness and originality. It’s linked to the moon (cool + moist/breasts, stomach, female reproductive organs). In the geranium family, it has a taste similar to parsley. The whole plant is edible. Its seeds are loaded with vitamin K. It can be used to help stop bleeding, reduce stomach ache, prevent infection and lower joint inflammation and pain. Be careful not to confuse it with poison hemlock, a look-alike. Stork’s bill is easy to identify by its hairy stalks.
