मांस खाने का आदेश भगवान् का नहीं!
कबीर साहेब जी कहते हैं:
कबीर, बकरी पाती खात है, ताकी काढी खाल
जो बकरी को खात है, तिनका कौन हवाल।
बकरी को जो आप ने मार डाली वह तो घास फूस पत्ते आदि खाकर पेट भर रही थी। इस काल लोक में ऐसे शाकाहारी पशु की भी हत्या हो गई तो जो बकरी का मांस खाते हैं उनका तो अधिक बुरा हाल होगा।
