The fact that some of you continuously spread these lies just hoping to discourage others from traveling to the country is just ridiculously ignorant. If the news is true or any other important information is, report it without adding your own. But if it is not, stop the spreading of fake news, which is always damaging to our country’s image; international wise. Okay. I try to keep Sirius Black's Instagram drama free but @buzzfeed just published an article about Savannahs that spreads many misconceptions about the breed. This is something I've been trying to clear and is a primary motivation for this Instagram account. Savannahs are wonderful breeds and do not deserve the bad reputation that #fakenews sites give them. Dear Buzzfeed & the World: 1) Not all savannah cats are giant. Many weight as much as any house cat. I weigh 16lbs. Many cats share this weight and many weigh more. Guess what? They're not savannahs. 2) savannah cats are not "halfwild" - they are completely normal house cats. They eat house cat food. Do house cat things. And there's more house cats adventuring out there than savannah cats. 3) Savannahs aren't extremely expensive. Sure, there's some that are, but most (Sirius Black included) are very affordable and there's even some often available at rescues.
