This is one of the rarest flowers. It’s a Coleman’s Coral Root a desert orchid found in Southern Arizona and Southwestern New Mexico. Only a few hundred of the desert orchid are known to exist. This particular flower was filmed in the Santa Rita Mountains in the area where there is a proposal to open a Rosemont Copper Mine.
