A post made four days ago includes a video promoting the conspiracy that more than 22 Islamic terror camps operate in the United States and are likely responsible for the shooting in Parkland, Florida. Unpopular opinion. I don't like fics in which alec is bothered by Magnus magic or asks him to stop using it for tasks. Like Magnus magic is part of him makes him who he is. To stopbot just feels wrong to me.

Yeah, it feels very weird. What does Alec have to do with how Magnus uses his magic? That’s none of his business.

I guess that’s another unfortunate trait show canon fics borrow from the books canon. It’s one thing for Alec to be worried when Magnus exerts himself; it’s a different thing to have him nag Magnus around.
