Experts10 Auto Tader is a VertexFX client-side Auto Tader based on the price action and range breakout pattern. The concept behind the Experts10 EA is that price sustains and continues in the direction of a breakout. If the price breaks the previous day’s High, then the likelihood of the bullish trend continuing is very high. Likewise, if the price were to break the previous day’s Low, then the likelihood of the bearish trend continuing is significant. Although the Experts10 EA can be applied on a chart of any time-frame, it has been observed that it has a high probability of success on daily charts.

In the first step we retrieve the previous day’s High (H1) and Low (L1). In the second step we find the current day’s Open (O) and Close (C).

A BUY-STOP order is placed at the previous day’s High + BREAKOUT_DISTANCE if

(a)H1 – C is greater than POROG, and C – L1 is also greater than POROG, and

(b)Today’s open is below previous day’s High (O < H1). The concept behind this BUY-STOPorder is that today’s price should not open above yesterday’s High, and the current price is at a moderate distance from previous day’s High and Low range. When a bullish trend occurs intraday, the price starts rising and as it crosses yesterday’s High it triggers the BUY-STOP order. This indicates a strong continuing bullish trend and the likelihood of price rising further is very high, culminating in a profitable trade.

A SELL-STOP order is placed at previous day’s Low – BREAKOUT_DISTANCE if (a)H1 – C is greater than POROG, and C – L1 is also greater than POROG, and

(b)Today’s open is above previous day’s Low (O > L1). The concept behind this SELL-STOP order is that today’s price should not have opened below yesterday’s Low, and the current price is at a moderate distance from previous day’s High and Low range. When a bearish trend occurs intraday, the price starts falling and as it falls below yesterday’s Low ittriggers the SELL-STOP order. This indicates a strong continuing bearish trend and the likelihood of price falling further is very high, culminating in a profitable trade.

Special attention should be paid to the POROG parameter which is critical in identifying best entries and avoiding false and whip-saw trades. Since H1 – C and C – L1 must be greater than POROG for entry condition, ideally the value of POROG should be a multiple of the average daily range. It has been statistically observed that when the value of POROG is set to 0.35 times the Average Daily Range it yields excellent entry signals.

The lot-size of each pending BUY-STOP and SELL-STOP order is calculated based on Account Equity, PERCENT_OF_DEPOSIT and STOP_LOSS. If the calculated lot-size is less than MIN_LOT, then the lot-size is set to MIN_LOT.The profit target and stop-loss are set to TAKE_PROFIT and STOP_LOSS respectively.

The pending orders are cancelled at the end of the day, however open positions can continue to the next day. Open trades are closedeither stop-loss or profit target.

At most one BUY-STOP and one SELL-STOP order can be placed per day. So, it is possible that both BUY-STOP and SELL-STOP order placed for the day, with the likelihood of each getting executed during different times of the day.

Open Two Pending Orders trading Auto Trader is a VertexFX client side Trading Robot that provides functionality to manage breakout trading systems.

Open Two Pending Orders Auto Trader is a semi-automated trading robot that provides the trader with the flexibility of placing BUY-STOP and SELL-STOP orders with the OCO mechanism. In One-Cancels-Other (OCO) mechanism, either pending order is triggered or the other order is cancelled.

When the Auto Trader is attached to the chart, it places a BUY-STOP and a SELL-STOP order at a distance of PIPS_AWAY points from the current Ask and Bid price respectively. The lot-size of the pending order is calculated based on the DYNAMIC_LOT_SIZE which specifies whether to use dynamic lot size, calculated based on the EQUITY_PERCENT and STOP_LOSS.The EQUITY_PERCENT of the Account Equity is suffered with the maximum loss in case where STOP_LOSS hits.

When either the BUY-STOP or the SELL-STOP order is triggered, the trading robot enters into the One-Cancels-Other (OCO) mode. If the BUY-STOP order is triggered then the SELL-STOP order is cancelled (deleted), and vice-versa happens if SELL-STOP order is triggered. The position of the active trade is closed at stop loss specified by the STOP_LOSS, or when the profit target specified by TAKE_PROFIT is achievedor when a (any) position is profitable, the trailing stop specified by TRAILING_STOP is employed.

The Auto Trader continuously tracks the profit of the open trade, and engages the trailing stop mechanism when it has reached the specified profit.

Open Two Pending Orders Trading Robot does not use any technical indicators. If a position is already open, or pending orders exist, then the robot does not place new entry orders. Hence, there can be at most two pending orders (one BUY-STOP and SELL-STOP each) or one open position (either BUY or SELL).

EURUSD Vertex FX  Auto Trader

EURUSD Auto Trader is an innovative VertexFX client-side Auto Trader based on price deviation from the Simple Moving Average.

The concept behind the EURUSD Auto Trader is that price reverses within a band near the Simple Moving Average most of the time. It is specially designed for the EUR/USD currency symbol and has a high probability of success on the 15-minute chart.

In the first step, we calculate the Simple Moving Average (SMA) of the typical price over the MA_VALUE period on a 15-minute chart. The typical price is represented as the mean of High, Low and Close prices.

In the second step, we calculate the Average True Range (ATR) over the recent 200 candles on the 1-hour chart. The ATR band provides the range of price deviation and when the price deviation is far away from the SMA the probability of price reversal is very high. When the price is above the SMA but below the buffer band from the SMA and the Average True Range is within the specified threshold of 40 points, a SHORT order is placed. The stop-loss and take-profit are set according to the STOP_LOSS and TAKE_PROFIT parameters respectively. The Auto Trader employs position averaging (Martingale) techniques to increase profitability. But at the same time in order to avoid the risk of ruin, the lot-size of subsequent trades is reduced to conserve margin. Once a SHORT order is placed, the next SHORT order is placed only when the SHORT signal condition is met and the current price is at least FILTER points above the previous order entry price.

The rule for placing BUY orders is exactly the opposite. A BUY order is placed when the current price is below the SMA but above the buffer from the SMA and the ATR is within 40 points. Subsequent BUY orders are placed when the BUY signal condition is met and the price is at least SIGNAL points below the previous BUY order.

BUY and SHORT orders can co-exist at the same time. Additionally, the stop-loss and take-profit of each order is tracked separately. This ensures that profitable trades are closed and the margin is released for subsequent use. The objective of the strategy is to trade price reversals. If a price reversal does not happen after opening the trade, further orders in the same direction are opened when the conditions are met. As a result, when a reversal occurs the profitable positions get closed first. One of the advantages of the EURUSD Auto Trader is that since both LONG and SHORT positions co-exist, if price moves in one direction, say upwards the LONG positions become profitable even though the SHORT positions are in loss. The LONG positions are closed at profit, and new SHORT positions are added. When the price eventually reverses downwards, the SHORT positions become profitable and are closed.

The EURUSD Auto Trader employs conservative risk management using a fixed percentage risk of the account balance. This ensures that under adverse market conditions the drawdowns are limited and the account does not blow up.

Configurable Inputs

1.BUFFER– The minimum distance in points between the price and the Simple Moving Average for entry trigger.

2.STOP_LOSS– The stop loss of each trade in points.

3.TAKE_PROFIT– The profit target of each in points.

4.FILTER– The threshold value in points used to eliminate the noise signals and enter additional position.

5.MA_VALUE– The period used to calculate the Simple Moving Average.

6.Z– The percentage risk per trade of the total account balance. It is used to calculate the lot-size of the trade.
