Kinda sux to hear people’s reactions to themselves or others having their hair slightly thinner than it used to be (but still thick) or a barely receded hairline like,, if that’s the end of the world then what do you think of me since you can see the actual top of my head all over,, and like. There was a very sudden shift in people’s reactions to *my* insecurity about it too. It used to be “you’re insane you’re not balding shut up” and now I just get looks of pity or “wear wigs 🤪” like how about instead of that, we stop equating baldness with being a creepy loser

#like. it’s ok to worry about your hair even if it’s just beginning to change. but maybe think abt how you comment on it around me #bc like. a difference that only you notice is not the same as hair loss that changes how society treats u #if I’m not allowed to be insecure abt it bc ‘it’s ok u can rock the bald look’ then u have to stop saying bald men are ugly and bad #stop like. moralizing baldness and then acting like it’s my issue for feeling bad abt it #maybe I’d be able to ignore it more often if ppl stopped bringing it up in a negative way around me #mine #txt
