thinking about bumping up atticus’s age from 38 to 40 but fearful of the inevitable old man/grandpa/etc. jokes when 40 is Not Old At All. aka if i decide to follow thru on this and u try to make outdated n unhelpful jokes about how he’s ‘old’ or a ‘grandpa’ or jokes that in general make ppl feel like aging is a curse n not a blessing...
