Our U'16 and U'19 teams played Marian College yesterday. Both teams came out on top.
Our U'19s have put in some very impressive performances this year and it is great to see a high level of basketball being played in the senior ranks. It is at a standard we have not seen before in the school.
Our U'16s (pictured) have won all 3 of their league fixtures. Best of luck to them as they travel to play OLSPK Belfast in the Cup tournament tomorrow.

Our U16 and U19 teams were unlucky to come out on the wrong side of two very tight and hotly contested fixtures this week versus neighbours St Conleth's College. U16 missed out on a scoreline of 35-37, while the U19 fought back after a poor start to finish 40-46. Some very impressive skills and tactical play were on display from our teams and both are sure to bounce back next week vs St Benildus.

A very entertaining and “friendly” game with the outgoing 6th Year Basketball players vs STMC Staff took place today. Conor Walsh, Derry Murphy, Harry Bailey, Matthew Peters, Michael Glennon, Rory McMullan and Stephen McDowell have represented the school extremely well through their time in St Michael’s - Departing the school with an All Ireland title (1st Year) and 3 U'19 Leinster Plate titles (4th, 5th & 6th Year). Thanks to the teaching staff participating and making it a special way to sign off their time in St Michael’s College.
