I don't care to be quiet anymore. Ship discourse preys on people's moral OCD and fear in order to keep them compliant and "unproblematic" and utilizes tactics that border on religious (you must confess your sins and be pure or get cancelled) and as a trauma survivor you all fucking disgust me.

I was abused with these tactics. I will not let you do it to me again.

As a community of queer disabled artists you all should know better and be fucking ashamed.

why do some people care So much about discourse i just want to look at nice gifs

seeing people credit the psds they use but not the stim gims is so wild like? how are you going to credit one thing and not the other

seeing people complain about having low following counts when you have an even lower one is so crazy.. "i only have 100 followers" "i only have 300 followers" i have ONE ! shout out to the stimblogs with no or one or only a handful of followers

to the person asking about dni banners: i can't speak for everyone, but often times the dni banners are unreadable and jarring. i don't want to read a giant block of hard to read text to see if i can interact or not. especially if they're full of acronyms you don't understand unless you're entrenched in online discourse. plus i rarely have an opinion on discourse in them and i don't want discourse on my blog.

also, although you may block, i've seen them not work countless times. people have clear dnis and some people will still interact regardless.

I found out recently the way I credit gifs has been breaking the link to the original, I have been making stim content for about a year and a half now.

No one has said anything yet, and I literally don't now how to fix it. I have over 5,000 posts and 100+ in the queue full of dead links.

why are half the posts here about dni banners? I personally don't use a banner but I do have a dni, and I respect the banners of people I come across (and usually just block)

I don't get why people have to constantly dunk on them and not just b + i if they fall in??

I block everybody I find who falls into my dni. the dni list is just an extra precaution I take so I can be more likely to avoid people I'm uncomfortable with (eg anti endos)

literally. can somebody actually explain to me why dni banners are "annoying" "useless" "a pain"???

im a somewhat small stimblog w/ like 120+ followers, i do sometimes see my gifs used, but mostly credited as far as i know. sometimes i see my gifs uncredited & that makes me FURIOUS!!

When I say "ppl act so holier then thou" I mean the way they either go "if you use my gifs then that means you think proshipper are sexy and cool" and also people that go "u can't use that it's by a proshipper" (proship is just my main example) like idk I just want to use gifs and it happened to be made by this person I don't care at all

And also a few gifs that have been used so much ARE by people who are worse, a popular cleancore gif I see being used was made by a Zionist for example, hell if the op is inactive Id say thats even better tbh, I can't describe it in words rn but it's like "well they're gone"

(also to instigate since ik how this sounds, I'm not a proshipper /gen nor do I consider myself an anti I just don't care that much tbh, even if I'm uncomfy by proship interactions in general I can't really do anything about people who happened to make the gifs to be like that, I just don't directly speak to them and that's it really and proship was just my main excample)

I don't care from who I use gifs from, even if I don't agree with them like they're proship or whatever, as long as it fits the theme for what I'm doing for I'm using it I don't care everyone acts so holier then thou, yes I credit my gifs but at the end of the day they're, again, gifs to look pleasing and half of the time the person is inactive anyway
