Blogiversary the Fourth

(Hey look, I finally remembered on time!)

Welcome welcome to all the Zelda fans who found me through my TotK post, as well as any Twitter refugees, and a hearty hello to all the followers who were around before that! It's time once again to reflect on the past year and how I've grown and challenged myself.

My art-related highlights in 2022 included:

adding a new style to my commission options

picking up Rebelle and Flame Painter, though I've only used the latter so far, for some neat effects while...

...participating in an Artists' Guild of Exandria project!

contributing to a couple more zines, including my first paid one

designing and selling my first charms

receiving my first Art Fight defenses and finally using my Roll-A-Monster tables for Inktober

and last but not least, with a post that has now soared over 5k notes, seeing my art trending on Tumblr!!

Despite the upheaval of a major life event and struggles with art block/executive dysfunction, I still earned some coin, had an influx of followers, and got to enjoy drawing more creature-focused art (especially in October).

Going forward, I'd like to try out painting in Rebelle and messing around with a looser, more shape-y style at some point. I've also got a couple fun new merch ideas knocking around in my head, so I look forward to making those happen!

Thank you to my followers (now 112, almost doubled from last year!), those who have purchased my creations, and all other supporters. May our 2023 hold simple joys and realized dreams.
