Translator’s note: Translating this CD alongside Yuma’s MB route is giving me a culture shock because it is almost like two entirely different guys. It really shows just how much the franchise has changed compared to its earlier days. (That’s saying a lot considered the MMB CDs aren’t even particularly ‘fluffy’) I know some people prefer the darker/more intense versions of the boys but I think I personally would rather have this Yuma. The more aggressive one would probably kill me just by poking me with his little finger. xD

You walk up to Yuma, asking what he’s doing.

“...Aah? Oh, it’s you. What, ya ask? I’m doin’ yesterday’s homework. When I told the teacher I didn’t do it, he wouldn’t let me go home until I finish this shit. I could just ignore it and leave anyway, but then Ruki’s gonna give me an earful.”

*Scribble scribble*

“I’m copyin’ his right now.”

You tell him he shouldn’t do that.

“It’s fine! If I try and do it myself, it’s gonna take a fuckin’ eternity.”

You ask if he will go home later then.

“Nah. I’m almost done. So wait there, ‘kay? I’ve been asked to run an errand too, so let’s walk home together.”

You nod.

“Ah, speakin’ of which! Kou doodled yer face and it turned out so funny and ugly, I’ll show it to ya as well!”

*Flip flip*

*Thud*

“Uhm...Where did it put it again...? It’s gone...!? Where did it go!? I could have sworn I put it in here...”

You tell off Yuma for making a mess.

“Aah...? There’s stuff ‘round my desk? Oh shut up. It’s not that bad it’s worth cleanin’ up. Besides, when I run out of space, I just use the desk of the dude sittin’ next to me so who cares.”

You look at the desk next to his, frowning.

“Yeah. ‘Bout half of the stuff on that desk is mine as well. I borrow it whenever I’m runnin’ low on space.”

You shake your head in disapproval.

“Who cares? They always let me borrow it with a smile on their face.”

You offer to clean it up.

“Why should I clean it up? Just forget ‘bout that guy’s desk.”

You insist.

“Who cares ‘bout some other person’s desk? Cleanin’ up is a big pain in the ass...”

You start cleaning it up yourself.

*Rustle rustle*

“Didn’t I just tell ya it’s fine? Why are ya so worried ‘bout some other dude?”

Yuma leans in close.

“You’re my woman, right? In that case, don’t be thinkin’ ‘bout anythin’ or anyone but me. ...Or are ya tryin’ to butter up to this guy, hopin’ to seduce him afterwards? Am I not enough to satisfy ya?”

You shake your head.

“Then just leave it be. It pisses me off so stop cleanin’.”

*Rustle*

“Besides...You haven’t forgotten ‘bout our lil’ bet, right? I said I’d tease ya until ya start voluntarily beggin’ for my fangs, right? Are ya sure ya should leave yer back wide open like this?”

You flinch.

“You’ve realized? What I’m gonna do to ya now, that is.”

He runs his hands across your back.

“I’ll punish ya for worryin’ ‘bout some other guy. A penalty to ensure ya won’t ever pull this sorta shit again.”

You try and break free from his grip.

*Rustle rustle*

“...Ugh. No point in strugglin’. I’m holdin’ ya from behind after all. No way I’m lettin’ ya go.”

*Rustle*

“Come on. Put yer hands on the desk.”

*Thud*

“Well then...Where should I suck ya? For example...How ‘bout I latch onto this throat over here?”

*Rustle rustle*

“No? Then would ya prefer yer legs? ...Like yer thighs, the softest part where my fangs would just sink right in.”

“Also...From the groin (1) would be nice as well. Pretty sure I’d be able to indulge in plenty of sweet, delicious blood.”

You ask Yuma what he is doing.

“I got tired of yer whinin’, so I’m gonna suck ya gently like ya want. Besides...If it feels good, it might actually be harder on ya. By the way...Yer body has gotten really heated. I haven’t even sucked ya yet, but you’ve gotten quite worked up. One bite might just push ya over the edge (2), don’t ya think? Come on...I’ll suck from yer nape. Yuma bites you.

You try and explain.

“No ‘buts!’ ...No, whatever. I’ve kind of lost interest, so we’ll continue our lil’ game later. ...For today, I guess we can just do our shoppin’ and head home. Come on, I brought yer bag along as well.”

*Rustle*

You grab your bag and thank him.

“Haah...”

The two of you start walking.

“That bein’ said, this challenge is takin’ longer than I expected. I was convinced ya’d bend in no time but you’re surprisingly sturdy? Well, you’ve been usin’ the hourglass tho so it isn’t really fair. Without that lil’ thing, the score would be long settled by now.”

You protest.

“Whatever. Anyway, let’s head to the supermarket.”

You ask him what you have to buy.

“Ingredients for today’s dinner. Also some seasonings. I’m droppin’ by the pharmacy as well. Azusa’s runnin’ low on bandages so we gotta stock up on some new ones. Also...I wanna look for some cotton gloves as well.”

You raise a brow, asking if he really needs those.

“Not for me, but tiny ones for ya. I’d be convenient to have them layin’ ‘round for whenever ya help out in the garden, right?”

You agree, smiling.

“...No need to thank me. Come on, let’s get goin’.”

Thanks for the games I’ll defo try to watch them, cause it seems that when I don’t watch Canada loses and we can’t have that 😤.

And yeah unless she played in the games in the US she’s probably gonna be the 3rd goalie which is ok it’ll be good for her development cause she’s a young goalie and goalies tend to get better with age.

Yeah I can imagine it was crazy over here when England played in the euro final (we are not that good at it but we invented it and like it) , I had a game that day and one of our players or coach ran in to the changing room (cause we’d just finished and was changing as fast as we could so we could watch) and just shouted England scored! And we were buzzing.

GB is my fave like the logo and the colours and the sleeves just works 😂🤷‍♀️.There’s some absolutely gorgeous jerseys internationally Germany is nice, Russias is good (Russia Russia not ROC Russia),and I’m partial to swedens even tho that’s pretty plain. There’s a few more I like too but none are popping up rn.

Tbf yeah I agree it’s like the same but idk what else they could do. Maybe the three leaf thing like they had in the 90s? Or it split with designs of each province/territory ?

Oh no poor Desbiens and MPP 😂😂 hopefully they didn’t get a fine or penalty. Tbf It is really weird they’d put anthems before the game rather than just the winners at the end?🤷‍♀️😂

Taking off your helmet fast is weird too, we don’t do anthems or that but on remembrance day they did like 2 mins silence and a speech and both teams lines up in the blue lines and took off their helmets but I was so confused when the other team was just stood there (our huddle was longer than theirs) cause we don’t usually do anything like that. -Also standing still in hockey skates for about 2-5 mins is very hard.

That’s the best part of the Olympics or big tournaments because the whole country just rallies behind the athletes like it doesn’t matter if you’re a sports fan or if you know anything about the sports happening if Canada’s doing well we’re all the biggest fans

Yeah I feel like European countries always have good jerseys and Canada and the us tend to be boring and safe, but I think Canada’s would be better if they included some designs, like I think if they partnered with local artists who created designs you know like I think that would be cool. I like the 2010 one because they had the design in the leaf and since maple trees are only in Ontario and Quebec that having different designs to represent the rest of Canada

I love Clarky because she always gets in fights like I love it, also I totally have been calling her clarky in my head can you believe we have one brain? 😂

High hitting games are so cool especially in person I loved seeing the Americans get fucking bodied 😂 the refs let a lot of shit go but they also called a lot of pens

I don’t know what player I’ll get if I’ll even get one but I’d honestly just love a Canadian one even if there’s no name, I just want a hockey jersey they’re my favourite kind of jerseys

I don’t think they’ll get fined for it, it wasn’t disrespectful you know like it wasn’t intentional so I don’t think they’ll get in trouble for it more than the coach or someone just telling them not to do it again

But true I forgot you europeans don’t play the anthem before games, we do it here and in the us before the games you play the anthems, they don’t normally televised them anymore, but yeah standing in skates must be hard, the players just kinda kept shifting their feet

United vs Chelsea - Conti Cup Semi Final - 29/01/2020

So the line up and bench for this one was interesting. Aimee Palmer was cup tied for this one, having already lined out for Sheffield United earlier in the season, Ella Toone is currently serving a 3 game suspension following a (questionable) red card vs Spurs, and both Kirsty Hanson and Leah Galton are out injured, which led to a very sparse bench, and pretty much the same XI as vs City. Lauren James started in place of Jane Ross, which was very clearly a good idea.

First half:

This game was a little cagey to start with, but ultimately a lot better than Saturday’s showing vs City. LJ had a decent shot around 6 mins, after some great build work from Groenen.

Abbie’s constant back passes to Earps returned, as did my anxiety. To be honest, Earps never looks completely comfortable to be on the receiving end of back passes so I don’t understand why the majority of that back 4 insist on playing that way so often?

Aside from those back passes, I though Abbie had a really good game. At least until she was forced off injured deep into the second half. She played an absolute stormer from the first whistle, and she was literally everywhere. Had a decent chance to get the first goal too around the 25 minute mark, very unfortunate to have that header go straight at Telford. She really, really redeemed herself after that performance vs City at the weekend.

‘27 - some Wales on Wales crime. Sophie Ingle booked for an almighty challenge on Hayley Ladd. Fair enough, the way Hayley fired herself into Ingle may have made it look more than it was. Entertaining tho. I’m also gonna take this opportunity to confess that I may be a little bit (a lot) in love with Hayley Ladd. I gotta be honest, I didn’t really know much about her before she signed in the summer, but she’s really, really great. I feel like she’s kinda underrated a little bit? Anyway, I genuinely don’t think this girl feels any pressure, like at all. A little bit like LJ I guess. She just gets her head down and does her job - calm and cool 100% of the time. I would very much like her to stay forever. I’m definitely gonna have to start watching more of this Wales team aren’t I?

‘34 - Earps with a cracking save. I feel like she’s more of a shot stopper than anything else, her distribution can be a little off sometimes, but she did really well to deny Chelsea there.

I think James and Arnot linked up quite well last night, especially around the 40 minute mark, unfortunately Lizzie was called just offside. She’s really impressed me (whenever she gets a shot) this season tbh, I hope she manages to get herself in the XI more often from now on.

‘42 - Jess Sigsworth pulling double shifts again. She’s constantly down around that back four, helping out and sometimes doing other people’s jobs for them and I’m kinda terrified that she’s gonna run herself into a brick wall at some stage? Like I think it’s fairly clear that we need to reinforce and add depth and quality defensively but I also think it’s pretty clear that Jess isn’t the answer to that particular problem, as impressive as her drive and her work rate is.

‘43 - United should have been clear and away on the counter there. There was an earlier challenge from Ladd (I’m pretty sure) that the ref took an age to make up her mind on, and by the time she decided to call it back, Groenen (again, I’d have to rewatch to be 100% certain) was up and over the halfway line on the break. Annoying af.

Halftime:

Tbh I thought United did really well to not have conceded and to still be in the game at the half. The first half as a whole was pretty decent, Chelsea ultimately had the better chances and were the slightly stronger team. I just wish we could have taken the few chances we had in the first half and made something from them, Telford isn’t the world’s best keeper and I feel like we could have tested her more and I was kinda disappointed we didn’t.

Second half:

‘47 - a fairly decent (surprisingly. It’s no secret we’re pretty piss poor at set pieces) from Zelem resulted in Amy heading just over, which hurt my soul. (I wanted her to score so bad youse have no idea)

‘52 - Arnot had a decent chance, and was 100% in cause Telford came about 82739 miles off her line, but unfortunately it was cleared away. (Sidenote: I HATE when keepers come off their line and out of their box like that, even opposition keepers. It just really shits me out. Anyway)

‘53 - a decent Chelsea opportunity goes wide. I saw somewhere (twitter probably) that it took a deflection, but I’d have to rewatch to be certain. FA Player get your shit together and upload the game so I can double check challenge 🙄

The game really started to come to life around the 50 minute mark. Both teams had decent chances within about a minute of each other, and United’s intensity really stepped up - they came out guns blazing in the second. Both teams pressing and passing really cleaned up around this time too.

‘61 - decent chance for Sigsworth. Angle was just too tight, but I think the build up was massively overworked. She passed it off the Zelem who held it for a little too long imo, before sending it back to Jess who lashed it into the side netting. Think Jess could have made something of it first time but hey, what’s done is done now.

Game started to get a little scrappy heading into the last 20 mins - back to the rushed and mismatched and intercepted passes of the first half.

‘70 - Chelsea free kick saved well by Earps.

‘71 - Goal - Chelsea. Really tight angle, just about squeezed home. Really good work from Mjelde in hindsight but I feel like Earps could have saved that one. I hate to blame her entirely but she really should have done better with closing that one down.

‘72 - almost an instant response from United. LJ had a fantastic chance to equalise but unfortunately scorched it over the bar. I’m not gonna lie, I expected a little better from her there, but I understand the urgency.

‘73 - pretty soft yellow for Sigsworth

‘74 - Ross 🔁 Arnot.

Seemed like all the wind was sucked out of United after that goal, approaching the 80 minute mark. Most of that intensity and urgency was still kinda there and evident in small bursts, but was mostly lacking.

‘80 - United forced into a change. Harris (don’t talk to me) 🔁 McManus. Abbie took a bit of a blow around 20 minutes in, committing a challenge she was ultimately booked for. Fair play to her, she played through it, but she was definitely struggling for a while there. Apparently she was on crutches after the game, so I hope it’s nothing too serious. Also interested to see what Casey does with that back 4 if she’s out for a while. Amy obviously goes back in and CB but it would appear Martha is higher than Ökvist in the pecking order, which is annoying. I get that Casey is more defensive minded and might not want to play two more attacking FB’s at once (Ökvist & Smith) but Martha... 🤐

‘84 - James had a great ball in that forced a corner that - you guessed it - nothing came of

‘85 - Earps had a great block to deny Chelsea a second (and really and truly kill me off)

‘88 - Harris decides to try her luck from a little way out. It was a decent shot to be fair, given the circumstances, just couldn’t get the dip it needed and never really troubled Telford on it’s way over the bar.

4 minutes at the end of the 90 but United couldn’t get anything to stick, which was massively unfortunate.

Two semi final defeats in a row is absolutely gut wrenching, and very hard to take, but last night taught me a lot about this team. I personally thought that this game was miles better and such an improvement on Arsenal away last season. They were much better all round, in every position than last weekend vs City. To come so close against the 3 best teams in the league 5 times now and walk away with nothing is hard, and I feel so bad for those girls. They give their all everytime they step out on that pitch, and they deserved more. This week in particular. Seeing them all in literal bits at the final whistle nearly broke me tbh.

But it’s becoming more glaringly apparent as the season goes on that we are in desperate need of a more clinical, stone blood killer up top. I’d also be open to giving Mikalen a run in goal to prove herself - I think Earps has been a bit off lately.

Galton and Hanson were massively missed last night, and I think we could have done with Toone as well, but oh well.

I had my issues with the ref as well last night, I have to say. I thought she handled the knocks and (most of) the bookings correctly, as well as the penalty shout (which was not a penalty, sorry Jess) but she missed a clear foul on Jackie (59 mins) as well as a clear tug on Arnot (64 mins) in the second half. I also thought LJ was very lucky to get away with just a yellow for her foul on Ingle at the end of the first half, looked a little more like a red to me 😬

Hopefully Galton will be back for Sunday - she absolutely tore Reading to shreds the last time out and I would very much like to see more of that 🔥, but I’m kinda worried about that midfield trio too. The last thing we need is three defeats on the bounce, but they must be dyinggg cause they literally never, ever stop.

I know this one is a little later than usual and the format is slightly different too, but I was watching the men (for some reason) as well, and it was kinda hard to keep track of two games at once lol. Plus I just wasn’t really in the mood to try and to this last night. Also - if anyone has critiques or corrections or questions about my opinions or anything else pls don’t hesitate to drop them in my ask and I’ll edit things and answer whatever as best as I can ✌🏽

IsFly Musings and In-Game Scribbles

Overtime Period One

I open the browser and see a heavy shot total. Isles lead 44-20. And the thing has gone into overtime. Leading three-two after leading three-one .. is fine. So many such series end 4-2. But. If you let them back in after 3-1 up, especially in hockey ... it's a concern. A hot risk.

Varlamov is in net for Isles. Thomas Greiss only logged one game this playoff. Tho the 34 year-old is capable. And could start forty a season, likely. [Ed note: He's started 39, 38 and 49 with Isles in varying years; just 28 this year. Varlamov is a 6M man to Greiss' 3M. Varlamov started 39 this year and has 13 playoff starts to Greiss' one.]

I struggle with various streams ... I can't be bothered with my box downstairs. Not now. Not this season. Yes, it still works. However. It's complicated.

Six and forty-five.

Isles enter, the Flyers are five in the screen as they steal back and look organized.

The Isles don't have a slick, untouchable, unrankable forward .. no franchise player. They've come, perhaps not full circle but some kind of time-mango to the team I enjoyed about six seasons ago. The Isles make comfortable ovals around the tight fingers of the cyborg orange. Flyers are coached by still-likeable Alain Vigneault (yes, THAT Alain Vigneault) but they're still P for putrid.

Faceoff to Carter Holt's left. Carter Bailey? Carter Barter? These names. He's good, tho. And not a bad kid.

The Isles shot lead is now 50-20. I've missed most of the game so I don't know what kind of 50-20 we're talking about here. Knowing the Isles, the number probably means early-game verve and then third period Flyer Failings. The Isles also gear down in the final frame; great goals for-against ratio in the playoff third.

Oh those Fliers.

I'm a bit busted. And shelved. And so forth. But I've been bookish. Filmish. Sipe. Fouts. Chuck Knox. Staubach and Dorsett against Bradshaw and Franco.

Also Ali. Jimmy Young. The Foreman. Some other odds and ends including an appearance on Donahue by Norton, Holmes, Frazier and Ali.

Komarov fires off a drop-pass and it hits wild and high. Vigneault's suit is not as sharp as last game's but still sharper than most other coaches'. I guess Vigneault made an insensitive remark last week that got flash-featured on RDS' Instagram feed. Remember RDS? Ah ha ha. Of course you do. So do I.

Habs are still in my dawghawse. Fire MB, bro.

Isles penalty. Moments later, Cizikis is hauled down on a short-handed thrust... cross-check-shoved from behind by Flyer d-man Sanheim at the circle. We go to fours.

And 1:18 left in the period.

The first OT period of this game (as per my feed). My, ah, procured feed.

Hm. I forgot about ALT-F4 but just instinctively used it to down some unwanted sprung pages from yet another feed. These feeds are reliable, yes. I haven't decided how I want to view games at home. Over the past six years (essentially the length of my musings absence; with the odd short exception) I've kept watching .. more each season (minus Montreal) but almost always in public. And often with a beer involved. Different from the coffee period. Tonight is coffee, of course. But you wouldn't know why it's "of course". You THINK you know. But you DON'T KNOW. And you NEVER WILL. We resume. A quick shot of Alain. His usual expression for "situation" situations. Isles have a brief advantage and they control. Anders Lee. Loses it on the hash.

Fliers' number eighteen escapes [Ed note: Tyler Pitlick RW]. Wrister. Free, a defender just out of the picture. Varlamov extends his glove across his left post and nabs it. Announcer says it was easy. But I felt some quease.

Prior to the regular season, I went on record (somewhere) to say Isles would win the Cup. My pool picks were according(ly). Ok?

Fuck boomers, bro.

And many of my Gen X compatriots. They've forgotten what it was like to get followed around the 7-11. Or Blockbuster. Rogers Video. Etc.

And now we have Gen Z. Yes! As cool as millenials. But different style.

The penalty elapsed. Back to fives. Regular season OT means four-on-four. But, NHL conservatism (what remains of it) requires fives in the playoffs. Heaven forbid that skill should settle a contest (over brawn, sistas and bruthas, over brawn).

Flyers swarm. They close. Varlamov is a vacuum man, lost papers, lost trinkets ... the tools twinkle and he closes the pad. Boy does it look like a puck went in on the rear-net replay. Nope. That was a stick blade. Then the helicopter view above the crease shows Varlamov's boot curvetouch the puck out. And Pelech drops, face to boot and helps elbow the puck into exile. Clutching Varly's pad, a dainty shoeman showman.

No goal.

And that hectic moment is forgotten. Neutral zone calm. But the Flyers accelerate. They dare. It's daring because any uptick from Philly results in Isle commitment. Isles ARE the better team. And the Flyers best hope is a languid opponent. I wish I'd seen the first three periods. Maybe tomorrow. (There's a song about that)

Fourteen and fourteen left.

Oh. And it's Carter Hart. He's about twenty. It's his second or so full season. Image search shows a possibly likeable young fella.

Shots are 52-28, Isles.

Wrap. Whoah. Flyers Are able to ... take advantage of fatigue. Isles emerge. Eberle, he of Oil fame, winds and fires. We hear a ting but not a post-ting. Eberle's wild shots are part of his charm. Right?

Ok?

Flyers settle in for another five-on-five unwanted visit in Islander ice.

Nelson carries it out. Flushed out after a shot. Isles re-enter. Uncle Leo. Yes, he's an Isle now.

So. When we're talking about these blue-name no name Island Aislers ... lotta functional no-mistake hockey merchants ... forward names include Anders Lee, Mathew Barzal, Jordan Eberle (that's your tabbed first forward line). Anthony Beauvillier, Brock Nelson, Josh Bailey, Derrick Brassard, Jean-Gabriel Pageau and Uncle Leo. I guess <sigh> he's not as annoying as before. But.

Nine and twenty-five.

Isles start to press. Pageeau line. He's the centre. Brassard and Leo. First pairing on the blue; Adam Pelech and Ryan Pulock.

They're pushed back and then emerge quietly. Sneakily. Flyers are more concerned with maintaining their starfish five formation then just childishly lunging for the puck. They're taking away any slot passes and happy to let Isles ping from the outside. Seems effective.

Ok. So Hart. He's 21. He started thirty last year and 40 this season. Most teams completed 62 games before the season was postponed. Yes. Covid-19. If you're reading this in 2030.

He was 0.917 last year and 0.914 this season. The bulk of starters will rank between 0.910 and 0.920. I would suggest that increments of 0.35 are significant. It's a team stat, too, of course. And must be superimposed with the usual criteria; shot quality and contestation, opponent formations, opponent quality ... etc, etc, blah blah blah. Ok?

Fliers score. The puck ekes through the pads.

okay so i struggled a lot with the gifs because of my crappy internet so i kinda got annoyed at one point but i still hope everyone likes this, it’s a really cute request omg TuT i hope the reactions aren’t too messy ><

They’d be playing truth or dare with a group of friends and his crush would choose dare

And one of Mark’s friends (probably Donghyuk tbh), knowing about Mark’s crush on the person, would be like “I dare you to kiss Mark!”

And Mark and his crush would just look at each other, surprised

Mark would try to make sure that they were fine with it, not wanting to make them do anything they were comfortable with

They’d end up kissing eventually

After the kiss: giggly af and also kinda smug idk, can’t hide his happiness

“I... um, actually... like you...”

And his crush would say the same

The getting together part, I feel like he’d be like “So... Are we, like...? A couple now?” *with a wide grin and blushed cheeks*

So they’d make a plan to get the two together

It would all happen through him or his crush losing and as a “penalty”, their friends would tell them to kiss

And his crush would lose in some game and be told to kiss him

Jeno would be taken aback but they’d kiss him before he would be able to say anything

And after the kiss, his crush would confess

Although surprised, he’d be really excited and show it by being hyper check the gif for reference

*starts to aggressively send finger hearts and confesses*

“Wanna date?” why do i see him being really straightforward all of a sudden, i used to see him as this shy lil fluff ball wth “Yeah? You better mark today in your calendar, it’s our first day!” *holds now s/o’s hand with a grin* well i guess it’s just the fact that i imagine him being extremely excited and it would kinda get rid of all the shyness and whatnot...?

Okay, let’s bring back the situation I created with Mark’s reaction (where they’re playing truth or dare with a group of friends)

So, after Haechan creating the situation between Mark and his crush, Mark would be out for “revenge” and knowing that this boy had a crush on one of the people there, he’d do the same thing for him

But, this time, the target would be Haechan

He’d choose truth instead of dare and Mark would just go “Do you have feelings for _____?”

This smol boy would be all taken aback and start blushing, but would eventually confess that he did indeed have feelings for that one person

He’d act like it wasn’t a big deal, telling his crush that he understood if they didn’t feel the same way about him, and would rush the others to continue the game quickly

And the game would continue until his crush’s turn came when the others would dare them to kiss him

His crush would confess to him after the kiss, making this boy the happiest person in the world

I think he would maybe feel a little shy but would hide it with being loud and laughing and being all happy

He’d be blushing, tho, which would kinda make all the acting useless

I imagine the situation being similar to Renjun’s where the crush is told by their friends to go and kiss (+confess to) him

They’d be hanging out with, again, a mutual group of friends, just walking around town or at a park or something

The two would be left alone for a bit and his crush would just use the chance to kiss him, thinking: well, might as well do it now

After the kiss, he’d be surprised and taken aback, staring at his crush with wide eyes

“I definitely didn’t expect that” he’d say

After his crush would actually confess to him, they'd be a little apologetic

He’d chuckle a little and be somewhat smug, idk, what

He’d be really sweet, tho, smiling sweetly at them and being all mushy

“Same here” he’d confess and maybe peck them on the forehead

And the two would just be a blushing, giggling mess until their friends would return who would immediately go: “Did you two finally confess?”

They’d hold hands for the rest of the day while walking around, looking at each other with a smile every once in a while

He and his crush would both be dared by their own friends to kiss

Neither would know about the other one’s dare

The two would be, like, study buddies or something

So, they were really close already, spending a lot of their free time together ahh the library or at different cafés or something

And one day while studying with his crush, this boy would look up and spontaneously decide to just go for it then and there

His crush would be really surprised and he’d be all smiley and somewhat shy, scratching the back of his head awkwardly

“I... Sorry, I was dared by my friends to do that... They said they’re getting tired of my crush on you, haha...” *rambles on forever, casually confessing while he’s at it, while his crush just sits there*

Eventually, his crush would just want him to shut up and what a better way to do that than getting up and kissing him, getting rid of the dare and finally confessing their own feelings

This boy would be, at first, taken aback but would eventually let out one of those loud screams and would be all smiley and hyper

And the rest of the study session would be spent just giggling and being all kiddy

I see him hanging out with Jeno, Haechan and a group of friends

The two older ones would keep telling him how he should confess to his long-time crush who was hanging out with them that day

He’d tell them that he wouldn’t, “knowing” that his crush didn’t like him back

For his surprise, though, his crush would come up to him at one point, giving him a quick kiss and confessing

“Wait, are you serious?” he’d be really surprised since he had thought that they didn’t like him back

After getting confirmation from them, he’d be really confused because he wouldn’t know what to do

And it would eventually make his crush think that he didn’t like them and they’d be all apologetical and shy

“What? No, no, no, no, no!! I like you too! I’m just really surprised, like?” he’d be a little panicked, “Wow, my heart’s going to burst out of my chest.”

And he’d be a blushing mess, trying to assure them that he liked them a lot and in the end, they’d just giggle, both blushing

My Idol is a South Korean competitive reality dating game show. It currently airs on Wednesday nights on Jae-bummer’s blog. First broadcast in 2016, the show offers the opportunity for a lucky fan to go on seven blind dates with seven idols. The idol plans the date with the show throwing in specific missions to complete during the day. At the end of the initial dates, the show opens up an audience vote to decide what three idols will move on to the second date.

Waddling to the water’s edge, you surveyed the small pallet Jae had set up for the two of you. Knowing you wouldn’t be able to stand for any extended period of time, you were appreciative of his gesture, but immediately began to see flaws in his plan.

“There are no fish,” you said simply, looking up at him with furrowed brows. “Call me crazy, but I think you have to have those to you know...actively ice-fish.”

“They’ll come,” Jae nodded. “I mean...I assume. I’m not going to pretend like I’ve done this before and then be subject to the ridicule of my fishermen peers at what a failure I am.”

“Are there like...message boards for ice fishing?” you chuckled, shaking your head. “Where the anti’s will leave you hate comments on your technique?”

“I’ve seen stranger on the internet,” he chuckled, immediately halting his laugh as he looked toward you with wide eyes. “Not like...I actively search for weird stuff on the internet. Or weird stuff in general. I mean...I just...my twitter mentions are a mess, okay?”

“Noted,” you nodded, trying to keep from completely losing it. This guy was easily one of the most interesting people you had met on your My Idol journey. Whether that was a good or bad thing, you were still uncertain. “So I’ll prepare myself now for a future with no fish.”

“MISSION!”

“Something tells me we’re going to have to find a fish,” Jae grumbled, snatching the red envelope directed at him. He slid his slender fingers along the lip of the envelope before pausing and shooting a casual side eye to the My Idol crew. His tongue sat curiously between his lips as he was lost in thought, making eye contact with you before sending a glance to the precut hole in the ice.

“Don’t even think about it, pretty boy,” one of the camera men clucked. “If that envelope goes in the water, we’ve got a back up and you may not like what we have planned.”

“Okay, one,” Jae nodded, his face scrunched in frustration. “Thank you for the pretty boy comment. Usually those comments get directed at my bandmate, Brian, but whenever I get them, I just can’t help but feel so deserving-”

“Jae,” you coughed in an attempt to get him back on track.

“Right,” he nodded. “Two, who said I was going to drop the envelope in the water? Three, I’m sure I won’t like this mission anymore than I’d like the back up mission you have prepared. And four-”

“Oh, give it to me,” you grumbled, snatching the mission card from his hands and pulling it from the envelope. “Wish for a fish; catch at least one fish within the next hour. Failure to complete this mission will result in a penalty.”

“Called it,” Jae muttered, crossing his arms. You rolled your eyes before handing the envelope back to one of the camera men.

“We can’t fish here,” you repeated, readjusting your crutches.

“And why not?” Jae asked.

“Because half of this cut in the ice...is literally dirt,” you explained. “There’s no way we’re going to catch a fish when we’re pretty much attempting to do it in the bank.”

“But...I didn’t want you to have to sit on the ice,” he pouted.

“Hate to break it to you,” you winced, glancing up at him. “But I think that’s the whole idea behind ice fishing.”

“Well I mean, technically, sure,” he hummed. “If you want to look at it THAT way.”

“What about that one?” you sighed, pointing to another precut hole a few feet away. “Or maybe the one over there? Either of those should work.”

“You sound like you know you’re way around an ice-fishing Youtube tutorial or two,” Jae grinned with a small nod. “Okay Captain, let’s go to whichever one you want.”

“This one,” you confirmed, pointing to the next closest hole about ten feet away. “That’s the one.”

“Let’s get you out there then,” he hummed, glancing down at your cast. “On second thought, maybe ice fishing wasn’t exactly the best idea I could have thought up...for you know...safety purposes.”

“But we’re here now and are making the best of it,” you hummed, teetering on the edge of the ice. You held your breath as you were about to take your first hop, when Jae grabbed you.

“Wait!” he gasped. “You don’t honestly think you’re going to hobble out across the ice, do you?”

“Well, how am I supposed to get out there?” you grumbled.

“Innovation,” he grinned. “Sit on the blanket.��

“I told you we can’t fish on the-”

“And I told you,” he nodded. “Sit on the blanket. Trust me.”

“Fine,” you muttered, dropping your crutches and attempting to maneuver yourself toward the ground. Without being prompted, Jae grabbed both of your hands with his, and began to balance you toward a sitting position. Leveraging your weight, he moved his feet against the snow-laden ground, and slowly aided you toward the blanket. You plopped onto the pallet with limited shock waves of pain radiating down your legs and looked up at him in surprise. “Thanks.”

“No problem,” he grinned. “Now hold on.”

Before you had a chance to truly get a grip on the blanket, there was a harsh tug on the fabric, nearly sending you flying. You took two handfuls of the quilt as Jae began to pull you onto the ice with impressive speed. Letting out small squeaks of terror, you kept your eyes closed until you finally felt your body slow to a stop.

“Jae Park,” he hummed. “Ice fishing genius.”

“I wouldn’t go that far, Casanova,” you chuckled. “You got your date out onto the ice, but you haven’t actually caught any fish.”

“Technicalities,” he hummed. “Stay put while I go grab the supplies.”

“Because I can definitely get up on my own,” you muttered, glancing at the new hole Jae had positioned you near. You could already see small flickers of movement beneath the ice, causing your heart to race with anticipation. You were disappointed with the amount of missions you had failed thus far and looked forward to this possible success.

“Alright,” Jae nodded, plopping onto the pallet beside you. “So we have this thingy.”

“Is that the proper terminology?” you asked, lifting your brows and taking the fishing apparatus from his hands. It was a short stick, not much longer than a ruler, with a few feet of fishing line attached. At the bottom of the line sat some sort of bait you weren’t quite familiar with.

“Pretty sure,” Jae nodded with a smile. “And this is one of thos top of the line thingies.”

“Ooo, fancy,” you chuckled, handing it back to him.

“So I’ll take first shift,” he sighed, plopping the line into the water. “I’m not sure if there’s like...an official technique to this, but I think I’m just gunna wiggle the line every couple of minutes and hope we catch a fish.”

“That’s a good goal to have,” you confirmed, trying to tone back your own sarcasm. You weren’t sure if it was the pain medicine or the competition, but you felt incredibly at ease with Jae. From the moment you had met him, he made you feel as if you had known each other for years. It was nice to simply feel comfortable with someone for once. You weren’t on edge about how you would come across, or his perception of you. You weren’t concerned if he was here for the appropriate reasons or if you had chemistry. You knew you already did, but not in the same way you had with other idols. Jae didn’t have textbook visual features, but he was easily one of the best looking men you had ever seen. His beauty wasn’t an unattainable attractiveness, or intimidating in any manner. He was the boy next door you always had a crush on, or the cute guy you got paired with in Science class. He was safe, even though he still made your heart race. There was security in your feelings, a familiarity without being familiar at all.

Glancing into the reflection of the ice, you noticed the intricacies in the way it had frozen. Nature was an incredible piece of art you rarely had a chance to just breathe in and appreciate. Your eyes focused on every small fissure and pattern laid out beneath you, causing you to sigh happily. Glancing over, you caught your own distorted reflection in the shiny surface and eventually let your eyes trace back over to Jae. Even in this less than ideal mirror, he was serving looks.

“Hey, Y/N,” he whispered, bumping your arm with his elbow. “If I catch a fish, you think you’ll let me sign your cast?”

“Sure,” you chuckled. “But that is the deal. No fish, no sign.”

Jae nodded, trying to hide the smile on his face as he stared down toward the hole. “But I mean...even if I don’t catch the fish...think of how much you could get for that cast on eBay if I sign it?”

“Have you been eying up the resale price on Day6 merchandise after it has your signature?” you laughed.

“No!” he gasped. “But if I had...I would see at least a forty dollar price increase.”

“Ooo, so after shipping, I could easily have a profit of like...twenty bucks,” you grinned.

“Pfft, where are you shipping it to? Back to the states?” he argued. “That’s at least a thirty dollar profit.”

“Because no one from the states could possibly want my gross cast?” you giggled. “It’s more likely to be someone from Korea?”

“Hey, I don’t know demographics here,” he hummed. “But we’re just talking-”

“Jae!” you screeched, hardly being able to contain your excitement. “The line!”

Jae looked over, shock coating his features as he glanced toward the now wiggling line. “No way.”

“Way!” you gasped, waving your arms in the air. If you had been of ideal physical health you would be jumping up and down. “You caught one!”

“Yeah I did!” he grinned, hopping up and beginning to pull the line from the water. “I am the master fisherman!”

“Alright, I wouldn’t go that far,” you laughed. “But you did it!”

Jae lifted the fish from the water, causing it to flap wildly in midair. He danced happily beside it, his eyes closed as he wiggled his hips. You laughed at the scene, keeping your focus on your date rather than the fish. If you thought too hard about the situation, you knew you would insist he release it back into the water.

But the fish seemed to have that plan anyway.

“Jae,” you croaked, noticing something wasn’t quite right. The fish wiggled ferociously at the end of the line, nearly shaking itself free several times. “Uh, Jae?”

“Hm?” he grinned, glancing down at you happily.

“The-the fish!” you pointed, your jaw dropping in horror as it finally dislodged itself from the line and flopped onto the ice.

“Shit!” he groaned, immediately dropping to all fours and scrambling to pick it up. “What do I do?”

“Grab it!” you insisted, frozen with incapability to help.

“I don’t want to touch it!” he shouted, moving his hands uneasily around the fish as he slithered along the ice.

“Jae!” you whined, watching as the fish got closer and closer to the hole in question.

“I know!” he croaked, just as the fish flopped back into the water.

With a red face and wide eyes, Jae looked toward you and winced. “But...uh...that still counts as me catching a fish...right?”

You sighed before breaking eye contact with him and glancing toward the ever faithful cameramen.

“Penalty,” the both said in unison, producing another red envelope for you to grab.

“We still have what’s left of the hour!” Jae complained.

“Penalty,” the camera men repeated, pushing the envelope further toward you.

“This is cruel and unusual punishment,” Jae griped, snatching the paper and beginning to rip it open. “I don’t know who I have to write a strongly worded letter to, but I’ll have you know that it’s going to get written.”

“What does it say?” you sighed. Jae’s eyes flew over the small card in his hands before he let out a long groan.

“Mission fail. Your second challenge will be replaced with a penalty.”

“Intriguing,” you grumbled. “The penalty part, Jae, read the penalty part.”

“Right,” he nodded, heaving another large sigh. “Penalty. Polar bear challenge. Remove your coat and scarf and change into some trunks. Take a five second dip into the pond and get rewarded with a warm treat.”

“Excuse me?” you croaked, looking toward the camera men. “And how exactly do you expect me to do this penalty?”

“We don’t,” they grinned, glancing over to Jae. “Him on the other hand.”

“I can’t believe they cut a Jae sized hole,” Jae whispered, shivering next to the square the My Idol staff had cut into the ice.

“I can’t believe you’re actually going to do this,” you muttered, surveying your date’s thin frame. Now donning a tank top and a pair of swim trunks, you were surprised at how pale he actually was. Holding his arms tightly around himself, he took small steps toward the hole before glancing in.

“Do I have an option?” he asked, looking curiously toward the camera men. “Can I ‘nope’ out?”

“Depends, do you want to be disqualified?” one of the camera men chuckled.

Jae looked wearily toward you before glancing back down at the icy waters. “Damnit.”

“Alright, on the count of three,” one of the camera men nodded.

“Go on My Idol they said,” Jae grumbled, shuffling closer to the hole. “It would be fun they said.”

“I understand if I’m not worth it,” you shouted toward Jae.

He grinned, shaking his head toward you. “Frostbite is temporary, love can be forever.”

“Greasy, but I appreciate the sentiment,” you laughed.

“You better!” he gasped, taking a deep breath before jumping directly into the water.

“That was easily the worst thing I’ve ever experienced,” Jae hissed as he shivered beside you in the My Idol SUV. “And I was a trainee at JYP for three years.”

“Really? They haven’t made you do worse for your work before?” you chuckled. Jae nuzzled himself closer to you, setting his chin on your shoulder, therefore putting his face in the direct line of the vents spitting out heat.

“I guess to be fair,” he sighed. “The prize at the end of this show is pretty awesome.”

“I don’t know,” you clucked. “I might take some Korean beef over a self deprecating and mildly dented date.”

“You describe yourself as mildly dented?” he laughed. “No offense or anything but you’re halfway to broken.”

“Aw, I love when my date whispers sweet nothings into my ear,” you grinned, elbowing him in the side. His proximity was making you dizzy as he snuggled into you, using your warmth as an excuse to keep his body close to yours.

“Speaking of something sweet,” he hummed. “I believed I was promised a warm treat for my efforts.”

“Right,” one of the camera men groaned. “Here.”

Shoving a silver canister toward you, you passed it along to Jae. He unscrewed the lid and sniffed it’s contents before beginning to mutter to himself.

“Hot chocolate?” he croaked. “After all of that...I get hot chocolate?”

“And the opportunity to possibly, maybe go on a second date with this charmer,” one of the camera men grumbled. “Congratulations, life is unfair.”

You smiled sadly toward him before nodding. “Sorry.”

Jae shook his head before pouring some of the brown liquid into the lid of the thermos. “Retract that or you don’t get any hot chocolate.”

“I don’t need any hot chocolate,” you argued. Sure, some hot chocolate would be nice, but the man just plunged himself into freezing water for the sake of a second date.

“I’m sorry,” he hummed with a smile, pushing the cup into your hands. “You’ll have to speak up next time. I couldn’t hear you.”

You shook your head before looking down at the hot chocolate with a grin. It DID smell good.

“So, do I get to sign your cast now?” Jae asked, chewing on his lip. “I did TECHNICALLY catch a fish...even if some choose to disagree.”

“Of course!” you chuckled, motioning at the camera men for a pen. They handed over a permanent marker, which Jae uncapped with his teeth before staring down carefully at your cast. You lifted the heavy material onto his lap before leaning back with a sigh.

“So,” Jae said quietly, his hand hovering above the surface of your leg. “Do I get to answer the question now?”

“I’m sorry, what?” you asked, tilting your head.

“The question of whether I’m here for my career or not,” he continued, finally beginning to write.

You remained silent as you thought over his request. Cursing silently at yourself, you let a hiss of air escape through your teeth. You didn’t want to be known for “the” question anymore than you wanted to be known as the paranoid Season 2 contestant, eager to distance herself from a Season 1 fate.

“You know what?” you said calmly, reconciling the subject in your mind before beginning to speak. “No. I don’t care anymore. If anyone isn’t here for me...strictly me...joke’s on them because I am hella lovable and it’ll all be fine in the end.”

Jae looked up in surprise, a large grin on his face. “Good. I’m happy you realized that.”

You grinned as well, proud of yourself as you stare back at him. His expression was proud as well...but seemingly for a different reason...

Oh no.

What exactly was he proud of?

Hesitantly, you glanced down at your cast, taking in the words that were still shiny and wet on it’s surface. You couldn’t help but let a laugh ripple through your chest, hardly believing just how ridiculous your date was.

I wrote a long rant a day after the controversy with Cavani. I havent posted it on here - only showed it to one person on here - but some things I wrote you also pointed out.

1. Indeed we all know Neymar went to PSG to be a leader and not play second fiddle to Cavani. He learned from the best and decided it was his time to lead. He won’t play under a player like Cavani who talent wise/potential doesn’t come close to Ney.

2. Again: I think the main problem is that both players though they would be responsible for the freekicks/penalties. I can’t remember if Cavani also took all the free kicks in the other matches? (for some reason I think no but I have no idea).

¾: The problem here lies with the coach for me. You can say he’s a new player in the team he should know his place, but he didnt came to PSG to know his place and work his way to the top. He came to PSG because he IS the top and they want to get to the European top. Emery should have known Cavani wanted to be the no1 still and it was clear what Neymar wants to be. If the little incident - that didnt blow up - against St. Etienne, but even after Lyon he couldnt act like a coach and leader and tell the press they will discuss who is the penalty takes…

I like Unai. Don’t get me wrong. What he did with Sevilla was amazing, but at PSG he’s getting exposed. I know it’s not an easy task if you have two players with this talent act liker this, but step up.

5. That’s the most dangerous thing with Ney: agreeing with him just to keep him happy. That’s why I always will find his transfer to PSG dangerous because I think with his personality he also needs someone who tells him the truth from time to time. Who tells him when he’s being a brat, when he should stfu and man up. Dani is annoying me since he left Juve the way he did so I won’t comment on him (since it won’t be good haha). But it’s bs to say Marquinhos is annoyed by him. I see him even more with Marquinhos than with Dani tbh (I love Marquinhos btw. What a sweetheart). Maybe Moura can secretly be annoyed by his arrival since PSG has to get rid of a few players and he’s one of them.

6. These full quotes always amaze me and - after this whole PSG transfer sage - I know not to believe them tbh.

7. That would mean Ney would think instead of acting immediately and - with all due respect to my hotheaded munchkin - he doesn’t so that in the moment. Also one of his biggest weakness but also what makes him world class. He doesn’t think when he’s on the field and just does what comes to mind. With the ball that’s good without it, it’s dangerous and it showed us manny times it can be (in the past also).

To be honest it’s weird for me because I dont give af about PSG, but I care about Ney. So I can’t think in only Ney’s interest since I know he needs this team to achieve his goals with them… Normally - like most of the other football fans - I would have laughed at all these troubles for a buying team like PSG, but when you’re fave plays for them it’s like you wanna laugh, and you laugh, but then you realize Ney is in this mess too…

PSG has a lot of problems to be honest and I don’t know how Bayern is doing - probably amazing - but they have more thing to worry about other than this incident. The fact is also that they are - even with all these buys - play very badly, slow tempo, wrong passes and with some players who don’t even deserve to be on the team. They have much work cut out for them even without this shit. And all eyes will be on them more then ever and most people outside of France hope they will fail.

More minor thoughts and things for the Dragon Mom Game! Its not super developed yet, but I’m thinking more on what sort of gameplay it should have. And can i just say THANK YOU SO MUCH for the positive reponse on this idea!! I’ve never got 8 notes on one of my dumb idea posts before!! Usually at best I just get 2 likes by my close friends, lol

* I’m still having trouble settling on a design for the main character species, I’m even not sure anymore if I want it to be an insectile dragon or just a complete dragon or just a complete insect or a dragon or insect mixed with something entirely else AAAAA And even just amoung the different cool caterpillars i was inspired by, I can’t decide!! * So i definately think I’m gonna go with the idea of a magically evolving species with a big ol skill tree of player choices. Even if it makes no sense! But i mean, dragons can do anything! XD So maybe your various skills and stuff could also give you appearance traits of all different cute and cool insects! BUNNI NEVER HAS TO CHOOSE EVER AGAIN

* Relatedly, I’m wondering whether I should give the player a ‘respec’ option? Cos.. I mean.. it would be even more immersion breaking if you could de-evolve at will, I think. it at least could make some internal sense in-universe if we say that evolving is a natural part of this creature’s life cycle. And it would seem a bit overpowered if they could freely discard and re-evolve whenever they felt like it. You could just defeat any problem you encountered, and not even have to worry about making a skillset that functions well at everything necessary to survive. BUT on the other hand, permenant choices in a skill tree with a lot of options can be a big problem depending on how much the player gets to know about each option beforehand, yknow? It sucks when you play a game and you find out you have to start all over when you;’re six hours into it, cos you somehow screwed yourself over with one bad choice and had NO WARNING. I’ve been recently playing the (very fun!) remake of Sonny for steam, and in that game every boss is so wildly different that you often have to respec your entire build to find a way to beat them. Which works well with how its basically a giant boss rush game where grinding is optional and respeccing is available whenever you want for a small amount of ingame currency. The no-respecs achievement is possibly the most difficult one! So yeah, I’m kinda worried I’d accidentally create a game like that, even though this genre doesn’t work as well with that level of difficulty. But also infinate respecs don’t work for this genre either... So I’m thinking maybe respeccing WOULD be possible, but it would be in a very limited quantity and you’d have to go through some hidden sidequest to get it. Maybe there’s one special plant that causes these dragons to reset to their basic state? And maybe it could have a cost, like it makes them very sick so you sleep through like a week or something. Or your stats are lowered for a few days, or your overall lifespan is decreased? I’ll have to think more about balancing it well!

* I’ve been thinking more and the cache-based gameplay could really be really cool as the primary form of challenge in the early stages. Your biggest obstacle is knowing that food and materials can expire, and that your ability to carry things is limited, and that you only have a certain amount of time each day to go around and then find your way back to a safe shelter to sleep. At first you might be quite desperate, eating everything you find as soon as you find it, and only being able to venture out a little way away from your nest. But then you start building cache locations and temporary shelters around the world, allowing you to move further and even be able to slowly carry some rare distant item back all the way to your main nest. The epic three week quest to move a single log! Being dragonmom is suffering! XD But it could be really rewarding to see that early difficulty be flushed down the toilet as you develop your skills, opening up the world and presenting new challenges to replace it! * And there could even maybe be multiple ways to solve the problem! This could be the first opportunity to make the choice between being a herbivore or carnivore, carnivore would be adapting more towards the ‘eat it now, constantly be searching for new food’ play style. You’d be stuck living within that limitation forever, escaping it just through becoming way better at dealing with it. You get a food source that’s basically everywhere, and gives you more nutrition, you turn the terrifying enemy predators into nosh and get to feel the ultimate catharsis of dooooom~! And you can become powerful enough to carry more stuff, and to affect the environment more and create shortcuts, and you need to worry less about finding a perfect shelter cos you have less enemies and you’re more hardy against the weather.

* Thoughts about the basic animal language system! I’m wondering about what sort of symbols it could use? Like, maybe it could just be intuitive pics of items and lil stick figure dragons and stuff. Here’s a few examples of default rpgmaker MV icons:

(tho these were some of the only ones useful for a dragon game so I’ll have to make my own) Alternatively, they could be like actual runes or heiroglyphs or made up fantasy letters. I tried googling around for something similar from a game, and all I could find was this thing thats apparantly from Spyro Skylanders? The disadvantage of that system is that it’d be less instantly intuitive what symbol means what. But that might even work to its advantage, cos it encourages the player to get started memorizing all the symbols instead of being complacent that everything will always be obvious. I wanna ease them into the puzzles, but I still do want there to be puzzles, yknow? i just think it would be a very cool concept! Oh, and of course having it look like a real language makes it feel like a real language. Woo! But maybe it could put more emphasis on the unusual nature of the language if its more pictoral? I DUNNO!! I’m bad at choices!! I’ll just have to work hard to make some endearing lil dragon doodles of what everything looks like to them. Thats the best compromise!

* oh!! A cool and unusual idea for one of the evolution skill branches!! Maybe you could take deliberate penalty devolutions? Maybe picking one of them gives you extra skill points to spend on others, or maybe its like.. sacrificing the ability to learn a new skill in favour of some additional stat boosts instead. And maybe even certain penalty evolutions could lead off into a longer tree of penalties with an unexpected bonus at the end! i was thinking a good one of these could be the ability to lose your sight. It could lead to boosters to all your other senses, and even the ability to eventually gain some sort of complicated telepathy sense that’s even better than eyes! Gotta put up with a while of waiting though. oh, and cos you’’re like a buggy dragon thing, maybe eye evolution would be Lots! Evolved eye! evolved eye! evolved eye! evolved eye! next evolution: eye!! achievement unlocked: spider. Oh, and actually the placement and type of eyes could adjust depending on what other evolution route you’re on! Thats be a cute bit of aesthetic. or maybe you could just choose the eyes regardless of what bug you are, and make the google eyed moth of your dreams~! It could be more tricky to make a fully customizeable character model though, rather than just a bunch of regular bugs. I mean, this is gonna be a pixelart game, its not like Spore with its big ol animation engine for all kinds of crazy leg combinations.. RANDOM THOUGHT! a dragon with eyes all down the sides of its body would be mega scary. maybe that could be part of the herbivore side evolutions? Realistically, scary appearances are more common for non-scary animals that evolve them to frighten off predators. Lots of caterpillars are actually kinda body horror disturbing looking, I cant stop being scared by the one with the huge swollen head with an optical illusion to look like a snake. It even manages to scare the predators of the predators of its predators! O_O Also actually having eyes all over your body instead of just markings would probably be really useful for spotting all those enemies. Spooky baby is the biggest fraidy cat ever!

* If I go with the idea of you gathering more children as the game goes on, then it could be cool to have all sorts of different sidequests to find the different eggs. Like maybe you can’t adopt the egg of a snow dragon unless you relocate your nest to a colder area where it could grow up healthy. Tho it’d suck if the game was forever limited that way and you had to leave your kids alone in various areas around the world or else they Die. So maybe its just for while the kid is a newborn, or maybe its that you have to nurse the egg in a certain environment in order to hatch it. i’m gonna say for the sake of gameplay conveinience that these magical dragons can just go into stasis in their eggs and survive forever, only hatching when they get their daily dose of mom hugs. Cos it would kinda suck if you had to make the decision IMMEDIATELY when you find an egg, especially if the eggs required certain things in order to be hatched. It would be super tragic to find this baby struggling to live and then you have to watch the egg go cold and die just cos you didn’t progress your stats fast enough. Magic eternal eggs is the best solution! Actually, maybe that could even be a good plot for a super rare egg you could unlock! You could find an ancient dragon species that was thought long extinct, and then get to raise a cute lil fossil son. Could be funny if they’re like an ancient megafauna version of your species! ‘My son iz larj but i luv heem’ He could carry the rest of his siblings around :3 Oh and maybe one of then could actually be an older child that you adopted after you found it cold and shivering next to its dead mother. It could be after you defeat some big boss, and find out that you were too late to save this poor fellow dragomom :( So then maybe that kid would start off more distrusting and disobedient at first, but to make up for it they’re already a fairly high level with some skills already. And maybe your choice of name for them would be limited at first, and then you can rename them properly once you finally win them over. You only get to choose one symbol at first, the kid is automatically named like.. Other [name]. Otherleaf, my smol untrusting beb!

* A SUPER SAD POSSIBLE IDEA Maybe there’s a small chance of finding the ghost of your kids when they die? There could be some sort of super mysterious and spiritual part of the forest that you can explore later on in the game, and there’s a random event to find a little baby shade in the fog that seems to remember you. And you can bring them home and its just like they never died, except they look a little spooky and they can only appear when the sun goes down. So you might wanna evolve the nocturnal skill so you can be with them. oh, and maybe when you get them back their name would change? Adds or replaces part of the symbols. they become Empty-[name]. And they can never grow up :( But still, imagine this lil ghost puff all happily curled up in a big hug pile with all their siblings, after so long wandering lost and alone!

We aren't gonna win this challenge, because there is always gonna be that one tribe member who has the advantage with selfies that are high self-esteemed against others who cant do selfies and has to actually wait for a task that cant do with selfies or the tribe name and all that, unless you want to carry a 16 by 16 large whiteboard with erasable expo marker onto it and try to find the item. Might as well forfeit since we can't win.

Me leaving that challenge straight away makes me less threatening and I am trying to play UTR pre-merge. I wasn't that active in socializing right now, and there is no flash games so far. If I can keep up this UTR strategy while also working with a few people I can dominate this. I mean leaving the chat either has its moments. Sometimes good things can happen with people leaving, or nothing happens. Whether leaving or not gives me a clue or not at least I can say that I am not a threat at all right now. But the decision to leave was strategic and also helpful since I can't do selfies in time and I know there would be "sacrificial" points and knowing me, I would sacrifice points for advantages or clues to idols. But for me personally I think this was the right move.

Well hello! My name is Kelsey Mikaelson, hailing from the Koh Sai state and I didn't die; I have crystallized and now I'm a Glamazon ready for the runway~! I can not tell you, being back here means...the WORLD to me. The premise of this season of Heroes vs Villains and the judges got it right, I am a heroine. But this season for me is about redemption. In Koh Sai, I really felt like a contender, I felt like I could win. Leaving was really tragic for me and this time around, I'm considering this my redemption. I realllllly want to do well, like, I can not TELL you how badly I want to finish what I started in Koh Sai. SO when we lost the first immunity challenge, my LIFE flashed before my eyes. And when I went a whole day without logging on to Skype, #ThatPart, I remember just mentally kicking myself the rest of the day and if it had been me that was eliminated...first? ...I don't even want to go there. I know that if it had been up to us to choose who leaves, Adil's name is the only I've heard. However, I don't want to see Adil leave early in the competition as he lives across the world and I'm usually alive quite late so we can chat about life and things like that. As for the rest of the tribe, I'm happy to see most of them. I quite wish there were less people from my season around...I love them but I don't feel like they're looking out for me, you know? I think the people that I'm meeting for the first time are all more invested in getting to know me. You know what it is, I think the people from my season automatically assume I'm with them. Quill herself asked me who I wanted to vote out for the last tribal and said she'd talk to me later. It's been three days and...where she at? NOT with me, I can tell you that much. The good news is that most everyone has got a niche with me however, something we've bonded over. Jay and I both love Kelly Clarkson, Bryce, Chips and I love RPDR, Christian and I are Connor and Oliver...so I don't feel unsocial which some people say I am. WHAT-ever. I LOVE BEING A MESS. Like the advantage wasn't SUPER amazing but tbh???? it's worth it. Sure, we have to go to tribal, but tribal is fun and tbh? I already have three or four people wanting to work with me so I don't think I'm in any danger tonight. and if I survive tonight, I'm guaranteed at LEAST one more week. So we won immunity wooo! my losing curse is over! Of course we only won, because the villains are villains and someone on that tribe gave us the win for an advantage lol. If I had to guess who took it I would say either zach or trixie lol. I'm just happy I don't have to worry about tribal again! Although I will say our last target, Adil, has been talking a lot more and being more active, which is great, because the reason he was being targeted was because people thought he was semi-inactive. My issue is that its kinda fishy that he's suddenly active, like maybe its just a coincidence, but I can't help but be paranoid and believe that someone warned him that he was the target and that his lack of vocalness was the reason why, and if that is the case then my name could have very well been thrown under the bus. I'm really sad to see that Ian quit the game too, I hope he's doing alright and I wish him the best. I also think I was on the right path to finding the idol, but now I'm curious. I placed a rock into a formation of other stones and something happened, but I don't know what I changed, or where the change took place. I'm thinking my best bet is to retry where I last searched and hopefully something is there. If not its back to square one.

Ok so a little update on stuff. I’m starting to really like Kelsey. She’s very nice and she cheered me up on a bad day a couple days ago so I’m grateful to her for that. I'm like... WHAT?! Did I get sucked into some weird time loop and suddenly miss out on a whole hour? Did I do something wrong? Soooo of course I am aware that I will probably be getting the boot and decide to search for the idol, but I'm a #mood or however I'm going to qualify it.. perhaps #funk is better. Anyway, I'm cool with it because he should be first boot anyway since he chose Ryan from the current season of Survivor as his avatar and that's a huge misstep in someone that I may have or could have ended up allying with. But then, nope! No tribal council! Ian's making the most of his life and withdrew from the game because he didn't want it to take a toll on himself in a negative fashion.
