rover has done many questionable things but i think one of the funniest things they've done thanks to camellya's story quest revealing some things is that

they've helped this girl control her forte and made her realize that they're the only person in all of solarius who can control her and match her strength

they've entwined their whole being with this random girl they've saved and ensured that they're literally the only person who can keep said girl sane

kept said girl around themselves for so long she's literally dependent on rover's presence to a degree it's actually incredibly unhealthy

they deemed her far too dangerous to go off on her own so instead of killing her the second best option was keeping her close to keep an eye on her to ensure she does not cause detrimental harm and uses her to further their work

proceeds to fuck off anyway cause she's probably not that dangerous on her own after all
