I feel for Mel.

Truly.

The fact that at the end of S1, Mel accepted that she's never going to be what her mother—her country—expected her to be, and that she may never be welcomed home again.

Then we see her at the end of S2 commandeering the Noxian fleet sailing for, presumably, Noxus after killing her own mother that she, even after all this time, still held affection for.

She's going home, but at what cost?

Why is grief always the price to pay for a homecoming?
