The Stingray General Mermaid. I shared today in my stories the reference picture I used for this piece. There was something incredibly statuesque and imposing about her gaze and composure. I just kept imagining her as a general in the mer-people army, ready for training action and defense of her territory. Maybe my imagination went too far too fast with this one, but I enjoyed letting it explore freely the underwater world. I keep thinking now I need to find a name for the city or country all my mermaids live in... do you maybe have some suggestions?
