HI ngl i forgot i'd posted anything lol . ok sooo ^^ Copics: what is this character's most expensive habit or hobby? Do they ever feel guilty about the money they spend on it?

hmmmmm . the characters with the most expensive hobby would definitely be Noel and Madi. Musical instruments are expensive. good thing their parents are rich! only one of them benefits from that though. guess who . ok tbh he doesnt actually own most of the instruments he uses in his shows. When Noel plays multiple instruments at once , he summons them similar to deuce summoning cauldrons .except Noel sends them back to where they came from once hes done. however ! he DOES own his trumpet and violin . theyre his favourites . even though hes kind of a dick Noel does feel super guilty every time he has to spend his parent's money, which is why he chooses to "borrow" the instruments he uses in his shows (he's not as evil as i make him out to be i promise 😭). oh my god how long ago did i start writing this . i thought i'd posted this months ago. anyway im gonna finish it now.

theyve all changed sooo much . originally everyone was a seperate character with no links . i almost scrapped madi once, made him transfem for about 2 months and then forgot he existed. then i made noel seperatelyy andddd decided to make them related :3

Asken was a brainworm that attacked me while i was at work once (i've had 3 jobs since then. huh) , designed , was told that his anatomy was wouldnt work and then left alone for ages (UNRELATED TO THE ANATOMY THING i just had no interest in him)

Lyn was also an abandoned character who i gave story relevance when i made Stian. Stian and Noel drove everything for the rest of these guys they would have no relevance otherwise oops .

tldr they were all irrelevant / undeveloped until Noel came along <3

TW: brief mentions of child abuse

Stian grew up in an abusive household, raised by his mother who never wanted a child. He was born from an affair, between his beastman mother and a human. He was neglected and treated like trash. As a small child, Stian wished to have the same cat-like features as his mother and her husband, but as he grew he began to resent all of his cat-like instincts.

Growing up in a small town with a near full beastman population, Stian never had any friends, nor did he have any wish to. That was until Asken moved there. Asken was a dog beastman, and the happiest person that Stian had ever met. Although Stian had no wish to know Asken, Asken instantly attached to him, noticing that Stian had no friends.

Stian has always loved to create things, a love which grew more as he got older. His favourite thing to build was always furniture, making side tables and chairs from scrap wood he found, but once he started at Night Raven College and became a member of Ignihyde house, his attention shifted towards using metals and eventually, creating different kinds of knives. Towards the end of his first year, Stian got into a fight with another student, and ended up permanently and severely harming the other student. As a punishment, and a preventive measure, Stian was made to transfer to Heartslabyul, in hopes that Riddle's strict rules would set him right, and so that he wouldn't be able to so freely access the tools needed to make the weapons he loves. However, Stian still manages to hide the things he uses, and sells pocket knives to other students.

Through his knife-selling "business", in his second year, Stian became acquainted with Lyn Felines, a 3rd year Savannaclaw student, who had helped him escape from an angry teacher.

Unique Magic: "Liar Liar"

Stian can use his Unique Magic to unveil if someone is under a spell, allowing him to release them from it if he so wishes.

His birthday (February 29th) is celebrated in-game on the 28th of February instead, due to the 29th only coming on a leap year.

Riddle has instructed Trey to keep an eye on Stian, which Stian hates. Due to their somewhat similar looks (hair and eye colour, glasses), some students have asked if they're related. Stian hates this even more.

Other students refer to Stian and Asken as an "unlikely friendship".

Stian is not allowed to enter the Scarabia dorms, as Jamil doesn't trust him. He ignores this to visit Asken.

Stian doesn't believe that Lyn truly cares for him or wants to be his friend.

He has a habit of breaking things, especially things that are important to other people.

He once threatened Ace Trappola, which caused Ace to fear him.

He respects Kalim, and is thankful for how he helped Asken.

Stian's magestone is still blue, because officially he is still part of Ignihyde.

i imagine once he's transferred to heartslabyul , other students would assume he's the new authority on technology in their dorm and would go to him for advice and help with any problems . and then he'd get really angry because he doesnt know 😭

For Noel , his worst memory would be something to do with Madi , like seeing Madi go through something bad . nothing bad really happened to Noel before going to nrc other than having no friends bc hes a loser !!!!!!

For Madi, his worst memory is his parents destroying a record that he bought himself (at around 10/11 years old). Madi and Noel's parents are very strict on what they consider "real music" , and Madi's love for jazz doesnt fit their idea . Madi had bought a record at a charity shop, and Noel helped him use the record player at home to listen to it, when their father overheard and got angry, eventually breaking the record into pieces.

Stian's worst memory.. hooo boy . He's always felt excluded because of not looking like a beastman, like his mother. When he was young (around 6/7 years old) he found a kids cat ear headband thing, and bought it with his pocket money. He went home to show his mother that he was "just like her now", but ermm.. she didnt take it very well!

Asken's worst memory would be after he moved to the shaftlands and started at primary school there, just.. the entire primary school experience was not great for him . at least he had stian i guess 💞

Lyn's worst memory err. his mothers death. that he had to watch. i wont say any more about that i think its self explanatory

bonus Aeris my son . bc ive posted about him a few times before ?? just no intro yet . soon . his worst memory was being rejected from rsa . his entire life crumbled and he feels so seperated and different from his family now . hes got cool friends (lie. theyre losers.) at nrc so . all good 👍👍

Stians favourite thing to do is crafting !! any kind of crafting , anything he can do using his hands . during his first year and half of his second year , he used this to make a small amount of money selling things he made (usually pocket knives) to other students at nrc (dont ask why they want them if they can use magic. theyre teenage boys. knives are cool) . after the erm. incident ! he was under a lot more strict surveillance and wasnt able to do that kind of thing anymore , so he picked up crochet !! he likes making things for his friends . i made a messy comic-esque thingy where he makes hats and scarves for the others. I'll put it at the bottom hehe

for his favourite food . tbh . stian doesnt really . enjoy food?? he sees it only as a way to fuel himself, focuses on nutrition instead of eating things he likes . i know what he doesnt like tho . cat instincts = hates cucumber ! he will never eat cucumber ever .

Asken was born in the Queendom of Roses, where he was homeschooled. However, when he moved to a beastman village in the Shaftlands, he attended a proper school for the first time. Here he met Stian Carpentiere, a regular human boy who had no friends. Asken took it upon himself to befriend Stian. He thought it strange that everyone treated Stian differently because he wasn't a beastman, as Asken, unlike the others, grew up completely around non-beastmen.

Asken, having been homeschooled, didn't quite understand social cues and public etiquette as well as other children his age. He was often too energetic and tended to annoy people (unknowingly). This caused him to be bullied his whole way through Elementary and Middle school. Some students would go as far as to pretend to be his friend, just so they could have the pleasure of ruining it all for him. He became a complete shut-in towards the end of Middle school, refusing to go to school or even outside in general due to his intense anxiety. The only exception he ever made was for Stian.

In his first year at Night Raven College, he was sorted into Pomefiore, where the suffocating atmosphere and intense focus on appearance only destroyed his self esteem further. However, he met Kalim, who befriended him and helped him come out of his shell and mostly get past his anxiety. By Stian's suggestion, Asken officially transferred to Scarabia half way through his first year. He still occasionally has problems with anxiety, but he faces his fears frequently by attending the broadcasting committee meetings.

Unique Magic: "Conscience Charm"

Asken can uncover a person's true intent. He almost never uses this spell, due to his fear of being betrayed or lied to. He would much rather stay oblivious to stop himself from being hurt.

Additional Info!

He is a dog beastman, specifically a golden retriever. He has several dog-like behaviours, he is a quick learner, very loyal and loves playing ball games.

Following up on the dog traits, he can be described with the quote "no matter how many times you hurt a dog, they'll still love you no matter what". Several times, Stian's naturally aggressive nature has hurt Asken, but Asken always forgives him.

Other students refer to Stian and Asken as an "unlikely friendship".

Asken does morning announcements at NRC, in which he almost every single time will tell a joke. They are very bad jokes.

When he was in Pomefiore, the other students loved to play with and brush his tail, which made him very uncomfortable, but due to his anxiety he almost never said no when asked.

He often pretends to not understand what's going on, he believes that if people think he's stupid then they'll be less likely to leave him.
