Getting into Starlight Express is like the most confusing experience but it's an experience I'd 100% recommend.

Your life will go from normal to every day thinking about the complex history of the musical and trying to remember canon right because the show changed constantly and in 2018 they just revamped a fuck ton of character designs and switched out some more important characters for characters of equal importance.

The music is good and the characters are so charming and also the plot is technically being told by a nine year old playing with toy trains and also the main character maybe or maybe not talks to train god. It's the experience ever. You get into starlight express and are suddenly gifted with theater knowledge and immediate respect and love for the actors.

Also you get to live next door to the Cats fans and sometimes we intersect.
