I am VERY biased towards Emilie because she was Portia in witw and that's how I found stex but like she's also my favourite 2018!Pearl/Opal actress (I don't have a favourite pre-update actress yet so dont ask me) and her and her bf were just everyone ever

My characterization of Pearl is just the same, someone who was naive and gave into peer pressure. But additionally, she wants to be adventurous and go for what she wants, but doesn't look before she leaps due to inexperience and ignorance.

Favourite Songs/Scenes Pearl: Whistle for Me, A Lotta Locomotion, Next Time You Fall In Love. Opal: Whistle for Me (Rusty & Pearl's duet), Für Immer, and I love her solo in Ich Bin Ich.

Favourite Costumes My favourite is the 2010s era costume. I love the pink wig and she just looks so pretty! I like the new costume too but if I had to choose... it would have to be the 2010s era.

Favourite Ships Pearl: I like Pearl/Rusty a lot. Opal: Pearl/Rusty but also Pearl/Dinah... I think that ship has a lot of potential in the update.

Headcanons Pearl: I think she would host some of the best sleepovers/girls nights! Opal: I think she is a little bit intimidated by Dinah and the other coaches when she first joins the yard. They're all very sure of themselves (in a good way) and she's new and doesn't know how everything works and everything. I don't think the intimidation feeling lasts for long though. She just feels sorta out of place at first. Not sure if that makes sense? Sorry if it doesn't.

Unpopular Opinions I prefer Whistle for Me is over Make Up My Heart. Not sure if that's unpopular?

I decided to separate Opal from Pearl because I think she's cute, and I do much prefer pearls pink design and more voluminous hair. But I still wanted opal around. So she's pearls cousin/sister and is considered a observatory window observation car, while pearl is a open balcony.

( Opal is heavily inspired by Pearls on ice design. I just liked the see through details sm )

Duvay, Carrie and Brandi all being yellow/brown is a bit disappointing but I wanted to keep their color schemes the same. ┐⁠(⁠´⁠ー⁠｀⁠)⁠┌

( oh also I'm calling her Brandi the bar car because two Belles is confusing !! )

i went on a cruise and there were four posh restaurants called Pearl, Coral, Aqua, and Opal and the stex fandom has pearl and named post 2018 pearl opal so like where are aqua and coral chat

Day 2: Pearl & Opal!!!

Our beloved coaches!!! Opal and Pearl are half-sisters, and therefore their style is pretty similiar; they also have a white dress, but while Pearl is more pink, Opal has a gold/champagne/light yellow palette. Neverthless, both are SUPER SPARKLY and SUPER CLASSY!!!
