I just finished a rewatch of Steven Universe, and man, binging it was a very different experience from watching it as it aired.
#steven universe#skipping the movie and future though#because I hated the movie and future is a whole other emotional arc thats not really doing it for me#also after the rewatch I have to say I still don’t get all the hate for rose/pink#like there were a couple of things that she did that were kinda shady#(and obviously don’t like the colonialism but I’m not holding that against her after she so completely reversed her stance on it)#but overall idk it just seems like she was a really good if flawed person who also was put in a lot of difficult situations
