Everything he wanted
Pairings: Steve Rogers x GN!Reader, Steve Rogers x Peggy Carter
Warnings: post Infinity war, ANGST, fluff with angst ending, doesn't end well for reader, sorta songfic, some usage of y/n
Summary: Steve finally gets everything he wanted.
Author's note: ready for some pain? the idea of this fanfic got loosely tied to the song "Everything I wanted", by Billie Eilish.
"I had a dream
I got everything I wanted"
It was Steve's idea to celebrate your birthday dinner at your new house. It was going to be the first party since you two moved in. Now that Captain America was retired, thank you very much, he had a lot of free time on his hands. And he discovered his passion for cooking. He had been preparing your favorite meal that night, one that he passed the whole month before testing to make it tastier - Sam and Bucky were his test subjects.
Before retiring, Steve didn't have almost any time for old hobbies or even finding new ones. He was surrounded by death and danger, brought back from the past to a time he didn't know anyone, even himself sometimes. It was a miracle he found you in the middle of that mess and gave love a new chance. Steve was creating a new chapter for both of you, free of stress and risks.
He knew how much you had suffered with all deaths, especially Natasha and Tony. You were tempted on inviting Bucky, Sam, and Sarah to your birthday but you didn't want to bother since they had a busy lifestyle. Steve let his hand go to his pocket, holding the small box as a reminder of what he was going to do tonight. The doorbell rang breaking his thoughts.
"Finally! Coming!" Steve yelled, walking to the front door. He had told Bucky to be there a little earlier but Bucky was too late for his comfort.
When Steve opened the door, he was suddenly attacked by two pairs of small hands, half-hugging, half-trying to take him down.
"Get him, boys!" Bucky Barnes cheered, a smug grin on his face. Cass Wilson and AJ Wilson attacked Steve since Bucky had the most important item of that night on his hands. It had been weeks since Steve gave him the biggest task of the night: picking up your birthday cake.
"Oh come on, Barnes, making my nephews do your dirty work?!" Sam Wilson exclaimed behind Bucky, a playful tone in his voice.
Steve smiled, grabbing the kids by their hips and lifting them up with no difficulty. AJ and Cass didn't seem to mind, giggling even louder, their legs shaking.
"Okay, boys, we are going to have a lot of time for this later!" Sarah Wilson commented when she got closer to them and Steve put the kids down, with protest coming from them "(Y/N) will be here in less than thirty minutes and we still have to put the decorations up!"
"You are late, Bucky." Steve simply stated before pulling his friend into a half hug. Bucky was careful enough to keep your cake out of damage.
"Sorry? Cake store was a busy. The boys wanted to test their hug on (Y/N) later and I am carrying the cake, so the boys decided on you." Bucky winked at the kids. He walked into the house, carrying the cake cautiously to the kitchen, followed closely by AJ and Cass.
Steve turned his attention to Sam and Sarah, both carrying bags. He promptly took the bags out of Sarah's hands, apologizing.
"It is alright. How is dinner going? Too hard? Want me to take a look?" Sarah gave him a fast hug.
"I have been using Bucky and Sam as my lab rats so, we all know I need your opinion" Sarah smiled, satisfied, following her kids and Bucky's path.
"Uuuuh, I have found the wine, Steve!" Steve heard Bucky exclaim happily from the kitchen.
It was just him and Sam now. Sam was carrying the bags that had the rest of your gifts. He looked exhausted but happy to be there.
"Are you alright, Sam?"
"Yeah. Excited for the night off!"
Steve couldn't help but feel bad for Sam. And happy. Since he had retired, Sam assumed the Captain America mantle and shield. He knew since the beginning Sam was the correct choice and everything he would see on the TV, or hear on the radio just confirmed his choice. Steve trusted Sam Wilson with his legacy.
One of the reasons Steve could sleep easy at night. The other being you, of course.
Steve and Sam walked inside the house, organizing the gifts on top of Steve's center table.
"Thank you for being here, Sam. I can't imagine what you pulled through to be here."
"I am sure you can" Sam laughed. Truly, Sam needed a night off. Away from all responsibilities, have some fun with his friends, get a bit drunk "(Y/N) is my friend too, by the way. Anyway, how is retirement? Putting on your comfortable slippers and reading the journal the whole morning, feet up? Then napping? End of the day: complaining about the news, going to sleep at 9 pm?"
Steve shook his head, laughing. They could hear Sarah and Bucky talking in the kitchen.
"You forgot sleeping during the news and complaining about them at the same time" Steve joked making Sam burst a loud laugh.
"Something more happening tonight that I should know?" Steve jerked his head back to Sam and simply blinked. "Come on, Steve. You told me if you were going to do it, you would do it when time was right."
"You will see when the time gets there," Steve responded mysteriously, walking back to the kitchen. Sarah was having a glass of wine with Bucky, watching the kids play in the backyard.
"Steve, the food is delicious! My brother and Bucky served for something, I guess."
"Hey, I brought the cake! Which, by the way, it is (Y/N)'s favorite bakery and flavor."
"Thanks, Bucky. And thank you, Sarah."
Twenty minutes passed until your arrival. Steve kept pacing back and forth impatiently, keeping his eyes on his phone for your messages. Everything was ready, and everyone had their birthday hats on, AJ and Cass with blowouts. The kids, Bucky and Sam filled up some balloons for decoration and put up a simple happy birthday sign. It wasn't exactly a surprise birthday party, but it was more than you knew.
"I see (Y/N)'s car!" Cass exclaimed from the window and everyone assumed their position near the front door, with Bucky turning off the lights.
"Surprise!" Everyone screamed when you opened the door. For a second, you froze, looking at them stunned. AJ and Cass ran in your direction, hugging your sides tightly.
"What, how?" You barely hugged the boys back, still looking shocked at your friends there.
"Surprise! Happy birthday!" Bucky responded, pulling you into a tight hug.
Next was Sam. You were trying really hard to not cry while Sam hugged you, wishing you a happy birthday. You felt some tears drop while you hugged Sarah. It had been a couple of rough last years for you - especially after Natasha's death. After Steve and you retired and moved in together, it took a while until things got okay and you could lead your life normally. You wanted them at your party, but Sam and Bucky were busy with their superhero lifestyle and Sarah was occupied with her life and her kidd, so you didn't call to bother them about it. Steve was the one that called and invited them to surprise you.
"Hey, we are here, okay? Wouldn't miss this for anything in the world!" Sarah murmured, hugging you and kissing your cheek. She cleaned your tears and you felt a strong hug on both your sides. AJ and Cass again. You kneeled down to their level.
"There is cake, there are tons of gifts from us as well!" Cass told you, excited. You finally hugged them properly.
"I am sure they will be my favorite gifts!"
You got up and turned to Steve and felt his arms close around you. You lost your parents before joining the Avengers, and being alone for so long it was hard to bond with anyone. With time passing, your relationship with Steve changed from respectful to friendship to love. You had gone through so much together, it was hard seeing yourself without each other.
After Thanos, for a moment, you thought Steve was going to leave you. But he didn't.
After so many losses, it was nice knowing Steve chose you.
"Thank you, thank you so much, Steve. I love you." You whispered, your voice cracking down.
Steve didn't answer, placing a single kiss on the top of your head. He couldn't wait to ask your hand in marriage later that night.
"Not what you'd think
And if I'm being honest
It might've been a nightmare"
-x-
"I had a dream
I got everything I wanted
But when I wake up, I see
You with me"
Steve wakes up, feeling disoriented at first. He doesn't really know where he is. He gasps for some air and tries to get up but he is stopped by a pair of hands placed on his chest.
"Steve?" A woman's worried voice he knows very well. Peggy. "Are you okay? Did you have a nightmare?"
Steve doesn't answer, letting himself be dragged back to the bed. Peggy is holding his face, scanning his expressions. She looks worried - like it had happened before.
"I had a dream."
"What kind? Bad? Good?"
"I don't know."
Peggy doesn't answer, holding Steve in her arms, wanting to make sure he will calm down. Since he came back from the future, Steve's nights had been rough. She knows it had to be something from the time he passed in the future. Steve didn't share everything that happened yet but Peggy was patient, she could wait. She wasn't going to pressure him, she was just happy with his return.
"We will be alright, Steve. We are together now, we will be okay" Peggy whispers against his hair, still holding him closely.
Steve doesn't say anything. He remembers now he has come back for her because that is what he wanted, right? Since the beginning. Steve made the conscious choice of not telling anyone, not even you since Steve knew he would break your heart no matter what. Leaving without saying anything was the best choice.
Steve's dreams had started a little after he came back. He would have glimpses of the life he could have had with you - a child, a dog, getting old together. And it hurt. More than he admitted to himself.
Steve had made a choice and he needed to live with it now.
"If I knew it all then, would I do it again?
Would I do it again?"

Steve Rogers Tours America
a/n: ah yes! another idea that i had come up with thanks to @barnesrogersvstheworld Marvel Kiss Challenge. I loved my prompt so much that it inspired this lovely drabble series. since I expect that it will be shorter, and now i have slightly more free time on my hands, this should be easier for me to get published (hopefully). but i am excited for this one because i love traveling and have been to a lot of places! i’m also excited to write the dynamic between everyone! hopefully i will have the first part out this week! also partly inspired by that drawing of the three of them squished in the yellow bug in civil war, so props to whoever for drawing that (y’all know which one i’m talking about)
pairing: Steve Rogers x reader, with (platonic) Bucky Barnes and Sam Wilson
summary: Infinity War never happened and everyone is happy. There are no more battles, no more fighting. Once the reader discovers that Steve hasn’t really seen the country he had been fighting for, they take it upon themselves to show it to him. With a couple of tagalongs, because Steve can’t really leave Bucky and Sam unsupervised, right?
warnings: fluff, sights and sounds of America, happy and sappy and dumb.
chapters: (undetermined)
New York City
simply tagging some lovely friends because i think they would enjoy this: @sweetboybucky @buckyofthemyscira @noshitstark @barnesrogersvstheworld @jaamesbbarnes @sgtjbuccky @bucky-at-bedtime @whyisbuckyso

Drabbles: Captain America #7
(A/N) Here is the next one! I hope you like it!
Drabble/s:

Pairing: Captain America x Reader
Warning: violence, fighting, kissing
Masterlist
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Being part of the Avengers, isn’t all that bad. Like, you get to live in a tower that’s filled with everything you need, everyone respects you, and you have great friends. The only down sight: you can’t plan anything. Usually, when the bad guys attack, they don’t let us know beforehand. That’s why it’s practically impossible to plan something and go through with it.
But we still try from time to time.
Like tonight. Tony had the great idea that we could build a blanket fort in the living room and watch movies. I, as the youngest Avenger, was more than just excited. I’d never build a blanket fort, but always dreamed about it. I guess that it wasn’t surprising that I was the first one awake that day. At least I thought I was the first one. In the kitchen, I grabbed some coffee and made my way to the training area. When I arrived, I noticed that it was already occupied. Still, I entered and placed my stuff at the side.
Steve was using one of the punching bags. I decided to just warm up for now, and maybe ask Steve if we could train together later. But for now, I’d leave him be. After all, he seemed very focused.
After doing crunches, running laps and doing some jumping jacks, I felt warmed up and ready to go at something. Luckily, Steve finished only a few seconds after me.
“Didn’t take you for the early bird?” He walked up to me, while wiping the sweat from his forehead. “That’s probably because I always sleep in late. And I really am no early bird, but I couldn’t sleep anymore. I’m really excited for the evening.” Steve chuckled. He took a sip from his water bottle and sighed when he put it down again. “Do you want to train together?” I nodded and before I knew it, I was up against the legendary Captain America.
We started with classic hand to hand combat, starting slow and stopping the fight after only a few minutes. But then, as we started the next one, both of us got serious. Our hits and kicks were no longer meant as training, but as a way to see how much the other can take.
I managed to make Steve stumble with a well-placed kick to his temple and used this to my advantage. Another kick, right to his chest and he was lying on the ground, still a little disorientated. I jumped on top of him and used my legs to lock his arms. “I won.” I grinned, proud of myself to have bested the super soldier. “Didn’t know that this was a competition.” He chuckled, breathlessly. “You did. Or at least you fought as if you’d known it.” He nodded and patted my thigh, asking for me to get off of him. And I did.
He stood up and walked over to our stuff, where he took a sip from his water bottle. “What do you want to do now?” I looked around the room, at all the different weapons you could train with, you could kill with. Then, I found it. I’d seen Nat train with it before, but I’ve never had the guts to try it. It was some kind of gun, I’d never seen outside this compound. Probably one of Tony’s inventions.
“Do you know how to handle this?” I pointed at the gun, while looking at Steve. “I do, but I don’t think that it’s the right weapon for you.” I raised an eyebrow. “And why is that?” Steve walked up to me, a smug look on his face. “Because it’s not safe for someone like you.” I rolled my eyes and took the gun. Steve took a step back, raising his hands. “Be careful, you can hurt yourself with that.” I was about to say something, when a buzzing sound could be heard. Before I knew it, Steve pulled me down to the floor and the glass behind us shattered into million pieces.
I landed on the gun, and let me tell you, that hurt. Still, I turned around. Three weird looking things jumped from some kind of helicopter into the tower. They all had weapons, so I simply acted.
I took aim and shot, killing the first one. The other two were dead shortly after the first one. Now was the perfect time. I turned to Steve and smirked at him. “You were saying?” He rolled his eyes and stood up, before helping me onto me feet. “Don’t be so smug.” This time, I rolled my eyes.
After Steve grabbed a weapon himself, we walked out of the training room and simply followed the noises. The others were in the living area, fighting. And we joined them.
A few fights, cuts and bruises later, and all the intruders were dead. We all looked around and made sure everyone was okay, before Tony started to complain. “Are you serious? Did they really have to bust all the windows?” He looked around and dictated Friday what had to repaired and rebought. We just laughed at him.
“Well, let’s start cleaning!” The others weren’t as motivated, but they still got to work. I handed out brooms and everyone started dusting at one corner of the room. Tony even put on some music on and soon we all had fun.
While I was getting a new trash bag, Steve joined me. “Hey, I’m sorry for the way I was acting earlier.” I laughed. “You’re an idiot, but it’s okay. Just, don’t just underestimate me because I’m a woman, okay?” “That wasn’t why I-.” “Y/N? Do you have the trash bag?” Nat was calling for me from the living area. “Yeah!” I turned back to Steve. “We’ll talk later.” Feeling brave, I got onto my toes and pressed my lips against his cheek. His eyes widened, and I chuckled when I pulled back.
Then, I left to bring Nat the trash bag and continue cleaning.
“So, what about the movie night?” We were finally finished with cleaning and everyone was dirty and tired. “Not tonight kiddo.” Tony put his hand on my shoulder and smiled sadly. I nodded, understanding. But I obviously couldn’t hide my disappointment. “We’ll do it another time.” “Sure.” The others said their goodnight’s and left, leaving only me and Steve. “Y/N…” I looked at him. “It’s okay, don’t worry.” I grinned at him, before I walked back to my room. It probably doesn’t make much sense, but I was really disappointed that we wouldn’t do the movie night. It would have been the first one…with my family. But I understood the others, so I decided to just read a book instead.
I was lying on my bed, when Friday’s artificial voice echoed in my room. “Tower is under attack. Living area.” I grabbed the pistol from my nightstand and ran to the living area. To get there, I had to run up six sets of stairs, and even though I was in shape, I was out of breath when I reached the living area. I raised my pistol as I entered, but…there was no fight. There were no intruders. Nothing was there.
Except…for a blanket fort. I lowered the pistol and stared at it. It was beautiful. There were even fairy lights on top, making it glow. “Do you like it?” I turned around. Steve had a bowl of Popcorn in his hands and smiled at me. “You?” He nodded and walked around me. “The rest of the food is already inside.” He kneeled down and placed the bowl at the entrance before he stood up again. “Let’s watch some movies.” I still stared at him.
He then took a step towards me and my body acted before I knew it. I sprinted to him and jumped into his arms. “Thank you.” He hugged me and laughed. “No problem, Y/N.”
I pulled away, to smile at him, but instead pressed my lips against his. Realising, I didn’t have his consent, I pulled away and apologized. “Don’t apologize, do it again.” This time, I laughed, before I kissed him again and again and again.
Let’s just say, I’m not 100% sure, which movies we watched that night.
Ævi - Frontlines
Hey again! This will be a continued series. The first Ævi series is in my masterlist and is only four parts. This is going to be a ongoing series, so there is going to be a lot more of Ævi to come. :)
Summary: Y/n or also known as Ævi has lived through varies of world events. Now it is 1941, she has excepted that some things cannot be changed so Loki has convinced Y/n to go to New York and live a normal life, a life Y/n always wanted. Or as normal it can be, because new introductions lead to events that didn’t go down in the history books.
Characters: Bucky Barnes x reader, Loki, Steve Rogers, OC Vera
Warnings: angst
Part 7
I don’t think we slept at all last night. We were constantly talking about everything and nothing. About the life we would have after I came back from Norway. He wanted to look for a place here in Brooklyn which would be big enough for more than two people he shamefully admitted. To which I just smiled. A human life didn’t sound so bad at all with him. I had decided in that moment when I would be coming back to tell him who I am, there was so much going on now and no time to explain anything.
“Bucky?” I asked. Something had been nagging at me when I told him I needed to go to Norway. He said that he would join the army if he had to. That was the last thin I wanted him to do. I wanted him safe. Not putting his life on the line in Europe. “Yes?” He answered back. “I know this might be a big promise, but.. can you promise me to not join the war?” I asked quietly a little unsure of myself. I needed him safe. He looked a little confused at my seriousness. “I-.. I- don’t ask me how I know, but this war.. I know many people will die.. I just can’t have you be one of those people. So please promise me you’ll stay out of it.” Bucky was about to say something but closed his mouth again, thinking of his next words carefully. “I promise.” He told me and that made me smile. He’d be safe I thought to myself.
-
A little while after that Loki was banging at the door indicating that it was time to go or we would miss the boat. I got all my things ready to go with my suitcase in hand before Bucky took it out of my hands for him to carry it. I gave him a sad smile and a quick kiss on his cheek and then we headed for the door. Down to where a taxi was waiting for us. Bucky put in the suitcases for me and closed the trunk. “We will see each other again.” He promised me as he embraced me tightly. I held on to him as tightly as I could not wanting to let him go. I swallowed back my tears before looking at him. “Write me. As soon as you have the chance.” I told him looking him deep in his eyes. He nodded, his eyes glossy. “I love you.” “I love you too.” We told each other. Giving each other one final kiss before I turned around and walked towards the door of the car Loki was holding open. I looked at him and he could only roll his eyes.
As I sat down in the car Loki closed the door and went to the other side of the car. I opened the window as quickly as I could. Bucky walked over to the window quickly. “You come right back here after that damn war is over alright!” I nodded. “Promise me?” He asked. “I promise!” I responded quickly. Bucky grabbed my left hand quickly and gave it a kiss. “When you get back there will be a ring on that finger.” He told me. The car started moving. I quickly nodded again. “I love you Bucky.” I said as he was running with the car, too fast for him to keep up. He let go of my hand and I instantly felt an emptiness.
I quickly turned around to see Bucky still running on the street for a little bit before stopping. Loki handed me a handkerchief from his suit. I thanked him before taking it and turning around not being able to see Bucky anymore. “I am sorry y/n. I hate to see you like this.” Loki said truthfully. All I could do is nod in thank you, wiping away my tears.
-
Loki and I had checked in for our boat and were already walking towards it. I felt my stomach drop. In such a short time of me being here I felt so alive, living a life I wanted to live. Or starting to live the life I wanted to live. I looked up, looking at New York one last time and trying to see If I could see Brooklyn from where we were. Like I would be able to see Bucky. Of course I couldn’t. I looked down. “You know.. It might be good to leave here. And I don’t mean New York, but leave Earth. And I know what you’re going to say, but the knowing of what is going to happen and not change it has been eating at you for as long as I have known you.” Loki tried.
“What about Vera?” I asked him and he sighed. “After her. After her we go to Asgard.” I shook my head. I wasn’t ready for that. I wasn’t ready to leave Earth behind. “I can’t do that Loki.” Loki sighed. “After we visited Vera.. I’m going back to Asgard.” That made me turn around and look at him. He rarely left my side. Let alone him going back alone to Asgard. But I understood why he did it. He has been there for me through everything, it might be getting a lot to keep giving him the same answer of me not wanting to leave. I couldn’t blame him really. So I nodded in response.
As we got to the boat I gave New York one last look. I was going to miss it. I was going to miss Bucky. As I took a deep breath I walked towards the bridge that was connected to the boat. I held my suitcase a little tighter and walked up.
“Y/N!” I heard in the distance. I spun around and on the dock I saw someone running. Bucky. I dropped my suitcase and ran down. Bucky was being chased by security. In different circumstances I would have laughed at this, but now I could only have tears of joy. As I got to Bucky we both embraced each other. “What are you doing here?” I asked him in shock of seeing him again. “I didn’t get to say that I love you back. So I got a cab and now here I am.” I laughed at him for the silliness. “You’re such a dork.” I said giggling before kissing him. The security had finally caught up. “Sit you need to leave.” One of the security guys said. “One moment.” He told them. I looked at the security guards pleading for them to not take him yet. They nodded and stepped back, giving us our moment.
“You be safe there alright?” He asked. I nodded. “You too over here. And keep Steve out of trouble.” He nodded laughing. “I’ll try, but trouble follows Steve, so on that one I can’t make any promises.” I laughed in understanding. “You keep your promise of not joining the war?” I asked him all serious. “I promise and I promise to get you that ring. You just promise me to come back when this is all over.” “I promise.” I said as I felt tears falling down my cheeks. Bucky went to wipe them away from my cheeks. “Hey, this isn’t goodbye. We’re gonna see each other again soon. This war will be over before you know it.” He reassured me. I took a deep breath now really for the last time giving him a kiss. For a moment all the noise around us from the harbor went away, like it was just me and Bucky.
The horn of the boat went, indicating that the boat was leaving. I pulled back from Bucky. He had tears running down his face now too I went to wipe them away. “I love you James Buchanan Barnes, now, tomorrow and forever.” I said looking him in his eyes. “I love you, Y/n Ironside, now tomorrow and forever.” He told me. It was time for me to go on the boat. Bucky held my right hand tightly, until I had to step away and let him go. I walked towards the suitcase I dropped and picked it up walking over to get on the boat. As I went on I still saw Bucky standing on the harbor.
“I love you Y/n! This is not an goodbye!” He yelled. “I love you Bucky! I’ll write you!” I yelled back. The boat started moving away slowly. Bucky followed the boat towards the edge of the harbor and I walked towards the edge of the boat. Giving each other one last look before I couldn’t see him anymore.
-
March 1942
It had been eight months since I last saw Bucky, It had been five months since he last wrote me a letter, It had been one month since I had stopped writing. It broke my heart. I really thought that Bucky was the one. For me he still is, but I am just not that for him anymore. We had written each other almost everyday since I had left. I don’t know if I did something that he didn’t want to write me anymore. “Are you ok?” Vera asked me? I had told Vera right away everything about Bucky. She was very happy for me and wanted to know everything about him right away. I told her he is such a dork, is a good dancer, has an amazing smirk, an even more amazing laugh, gets embarrassed by the books he reads, loves or.. loved me.
“I’m ok. Just need to keep myself busy with something.” I told her walking around in her living room. Maybe a book. “With books?” She asked straight away, not impressed. “Y/n, you are not one to just sit around and.. read. Especially now, you could help in the war.” She tried. “You know I can’t.” I told her. “Well, maybe not with the big stuff, there is more than that going on you know. You can try and keep other German soldiers out of other towns. You did it here and you succeeded so far. Tonsberg has a lot of trouble. It might be good to actually go there you know.” Vera was right. Especially there. A long time ago I hid the Tesserect there or otherwise known as the Space stone. It had been safe all this time there. It was now hidden in a church, no one dares to attack a church, not even Nazi’s. But just incase it could be a good idea. Checking if it is still protected well enough.
“You’re right. I’ll go there today. It will keep me busy.” I agreed with Vera. I put on army clothes I had gotten from Vera’s late husband. She had fitted them in so it didn’t look baggy anymore. It made me slightly bled in, besides the fact that I am a woman that is.
“Where are you going?” Loki asked as he came in the house seeing I was all dressed up. “To Tonsberg.” I told him as I walked towards the door. “What’s in Tonsberg?” He asked still not getting what was going on. “War...” I said as I looked at him. “And the Tesserect.” I said as I walked out the door. Loki quickly followed me out the door. “Wait.. You mean to tell me that the Tesserect or the Space stone is here.. On Midgard?” He asked in disbelief. “Well, yeah, that’s where I hid it a couple of years ago.” “I beg you pardon.” Loki said shocked. “How long is a couple of years?” He asked. “A thousand.” I walked on towards the car to drive myself over there. “Why hide it here? And not tell me?” I opened the car door. “Well first off, I thought that you knew I hid it here.. might have just forgotten about that.” I said the last part under my breath. “And second I knew that at least until 2010 nobody was gonna use it or let alone know how to use it. Hence why I hid it here. Also people will only start going to space around the 60s, so I knew I had a while if I needed to hide it somewhere else.” I explained Loki as I started the car. “I’m coming with you.” He said as he tried to get in, but I tsked him away. “And what? Show them your suit? You’re not exactly dressed for-...” I didn’t finish my sentence as Loki turned his clothes in his usual.. Asgardian.. get up. “You can’t go like that.” I stated. “Why not?” He said a little offended. “Because you’ll be target practice. And I’m trying to NOT get noticed. You’re also not always very good at keeping a low profile.” I continued on. “Sorry.” I said lastly as I started driving away waving my hand behind me.
As I arrived in Tonsberg it was absolutely destroyed. There was smoke coming from houses that were burned down. Some houses were still burning. This must have just happened. There was no one around, hopefully everybody evacuated before anything happened to them. There was one older man who was struggling to walk coming out of the rubble. I walked over as quick as I could to help him. “Are you alright sir?” I asked him in Norwegian. He gave me a look up and down, probably wondering what a woman was doin wearing army clothes. “They came yesterday. They killed everyone, men, women and children.” He explained. “Did you see a badge or do you remember what they looked like?” I asked, maybe I could do something to prevent from other places turning up like this. I am not sure how, but I will try. “They wore a badge. A skull with tentacles.” A skull with tentacles? I have never heard of a group that wore a badge like that. Then again, it has been a long time since I had lessons about this. “Do they have a name?” I asked trying to gather as much information to try and piece my memory together. “Hydra.” It must be a small group, because I have never heard of them before. This was good, they might not have been important enough for the history books at all. Maybe I can do something about them.
“Thank you sit. do you need help getting somewhere?” I asked him before he already started walking. “No, I have survived so far.” He said as he walked away in the distance.
I have to retrace their steps, maybe I can track down this Hydra group and end it there for them. They did a lot of damage here. All the houses were completely destroyed. Sadly I saw some people that did not survive. I did my best to cover them with blankets or anything that I could find to cover them up. After a little while I was standing right in front of the tower I had hid the Tesserect a long time ago. The door was blown up and was not in good condition at all anymore. I walked towards the hole that once was a door and inside there was the tower keeper laying on the ground. I quickly ran over to see if I could find a pulse or if I could heal him, but I was too late. The bullethead that was in his chest was fatal. “I’m sorry I didn’t get here sooner.” I whispered. I felt awful, if I had just been here sooner and stopped moping around, these people could have still been alive. This is all my fault.
I looked up and saw that the grave was destroyed. As I walked over I noticed the decoy Tesserect was gone, for a split second I hoped that I had fooled this person and he took the decoy. But as I went to turn around I stepped on glass. It was the decoy. I quickly ran over to the wall with Yggdrasil on it to check the hiding spot of the Tesserect. “Oh no..” It was gone.
-
“We have a BIG problem.” I said as I walked in the house. I didn’t know what to do. I didn’t even think anybody knew about the Tesserect and now most likely someone in Hydra had stolen it. So many things were going through my mind, I was in full panic mode. “What happened love?” Loki said in his annoying voice. “The Tesserect. It’s gone. Someone stole it yesterday.” I explained to Loki. “Who?” That made me narrow my eyes at him. “Well.. don’t you think if I knew who stole it I would be going to get it from him right now?” I asked irritated.
He put one hand up in response, but keeping one behind his back. “What you got there?” I asked him curious. “A message from Heimdall.” He answered. “He writes you? Since when? Let me see.” I tried as I was getting behind his back to try and get the envelope from him. He swiftly moved away dodging me hands easily. “Love I have trained you.” He said as if I would never be able to keep up with him. “Then you should know I am a lot stronger than you are.” I retorted. “It’s private.” Loki said back as he tried to move away from me again. Fine then I’ll play dirty. I grabbed his long hair and pulled him back. And I swiftly took the envelope out of his hands. “You didn’t teach me that.” I smiled at him. “No you got that one from Thor. But I would really like you to give that back to me.” He said as he tried to grab it out of my hands, but I moved away quickly so he couldn’t reach it. I shoved him back and saw familiar handwriting on the envelope. “Bucky.”
“Don’t Y/n.” Loki tried as I ripped the envelope open and pulled the letter out.
Hi Doll,
It’s been about five months now since I have last heard from you. I really hope nothing bad has happened to you. I can’t even put my mind in that place. After this war is over you are coming back to America. It is still the only thing I can think about and I hope you still want that.
I have been doing my best at keeping Steve out of trouble, he also misses you a lot. He has also been asking me how you have been doing and I have been telling him you are doing well, because that is my hope, that you are ok.
If you are still getting and reading my letters I have been sending, you might remember me saying that I might join the army. I know I made you that promise, but people are hurting and dying. You might be hurting or worse.. It is now official and I joined the army. I will have to start my training soon and then I’ll be send off in about a year. I am truly sorry y/n and I hope you can forgive me for breaking that promise.
I will keep writing you as much as I can!!
I love you Y/n, now, tomorrow and forever
Bucky
I swallowed back my tears. Why was I not getting his letters? And why was I not getting his? I looked up from my letter at Loki, his face had no expression which said even more than he probably intended. “What did you do?”
What A Time
*No spoilers*
Pairing: Steve x female reader
Summary: Memories can be haunting.
Words: 1,3026
Warnings: sad
-
I feel a little nauseous and my hands are shaking
Steve didn’t really know what he was supposed to be doing. Tony told him you were coming. Well, you were already there. Tony invited you. Why the fuck would he do that? He knew Steve wasn’t over you. Everyone knew it, even if he didn’t talk about you, everyone just kind of.. knew. And Steve knew that they knew. That Tony knew.
Still, he made you come here. Tony probably thought Steve should just grow a pair and face the reality of not having you in his life anymore.
I guess that means you're close by
“Just saw her downstairs,” Bucky mumbled into his drink right next to Steve. He knew that Steve would not deal well with seeing you again so he chose to stay close by.
Steve wanted to brace himself for seeing you, like he used to brace himself before a punch in a dark alley. Plant yourself like a tree. That’s what he wanted to do. Stand there, unwavering, ready to see you. He knew it would feel like a bullet in his guts, he just always thought it wouldn’t come. He never expected you to show up to shoot him. But he was wrong. He had been wrong about a lot of things.
My throat is getting dry and my heart is racing
The anticipation was almost worse than the quiet before the storm. That was because it wasn’t quiet at all. Everyone around him was talking, laughing, buzzing; his mind overflowing with sounds and thoughts to the point he thought his skull was going to burst open.
I haven't been by your side In a minute, but I think about it sometimes
You walked through the door and it was just like the first time Steve had ever seen you. Steve always compared it West Side Story when he described it to other people – when Tony sees Maria for the first time everything just blurs, he can see nothing but her. All the noise around Steve suddenly stops; he can only see you laughing at something your friend said, a hand brushing through your hair. And for a moment – just for a second – he feels himself moving towards you, to hug you, hold you, kiss you – love you. But then his mind snaps back and he realizes what he’s been doing.
You are not with him. You haven’t been in some time. And he still thinks about holding you, long after he has last felt your skin on his.
Even though I know it's not so distant
He knew that he could just.. do it. He could walk over and touch your arm to grab your attention. He could talk to you. He could see you up close. There were so many things he could do, so many things he wanted to do.
You were right there. Where Steve wanted you to return to one day.
Oh, no, I still wanna reminisce it
“Go and talk to her.”
Steve had totally forgotten Bucky was even there.
“I think I’ll just stay here.”
Steve was scared of many things. But he was always brave enough to face them anyway. Talking to you again wasn’t one of them.
I think of the night in the park, it was getting dark And we stayed up for hours
So he stayed there, watching you. It was weird, he knew that. And he tried not to do it. Tried looking away, thinking about something else but he couldn’t stop his mind from wandering to you.
And even though Steve had been trying to do exactly that for a long time it still felt like a surprise to him. So he did what he had been doing ever since you broke up.
He thought about that one time you took him to the park, just to sit outside and watch the city that never sleeps stay up.
What a time, what a time, what a time You clinged to my body like you wanted it forever What a time, what a time, what a time For you and I What a time, what a time For you and I
What would he give for you to hold him like you did that night. Every night. If he could just feel you touch him like that one more time. Just once.
I know we didn't end it like we're supposed to And now we get a bit tense
You had been dreading the moment you would see Steve again. You never talked properly about why you broke up, you simply decided that you would and then you did. It was weird. Weird explaining that to people. Weird thinking about it. Weird having to deal with.
But you came here so you could resolve this. Not to talk to him but to prove to yourself that you could deal with this, with him, with being without him. You wanted to prove it to yourself even though you knew it wouldn’t work.
But you both liked lying to yourselves.
I wonder if my mind just leaves out all the bad parts I know we didn't make sense
Looking at him you were just reminded of all the romantic, sweet little things he did for you. Massages. Flowers. Cooking. Movies. He was everything you wanted. And you knew that wasn’t true. Would he have been all you wanted, you would not have let your relationship end like that. But you didn’t want to think about the bad things. You didn’t want the bad things. You just wanted Steve.
I admit it that I think about it sometimes Even though I know it's not so distant Oh, no, I still wanna reminisce it
He was there. You knew he would be. But you wouldn’t talk to him just like he didn’t wanna talk to you either.
So both of you just stood there, glancing, staring at each other from time to time, trying not to overthink like you usually did.
I think of the night in the park, it was getting dark And we stayed up for hours
If only you could stay up with him again. Stand on the balcony and watch the city again. No sleep, no missing out. More time for love.
What a time, what a time, what a time You clinged to my body like you wanted it forever
If only he would hold you again. Wrap his arms around you and keep you safe. Sage from the pain. Safe from the future. Save from everyone.
What a time, what a time, what a time For you and I What a time, what a time For you and I
For you and I For you and I For you and I What a time, what a time for you and I What a time for you and I, yeah What a time, what a time for you and I
It was nice. Soft. Warm. Secure. Like love is supposed to be. It was the best time of your lives. Until it wasn’t.
I think of the night in the park, it was getting dark And we stayed up for hours
He wanted it back. He wanted you back.
What a lie, what a lie, what a lie
But that was not going to happen.
You clinged to my body like you wanted it forever
Steve always told youhow he wanted you. Only you. For the rest of his life.
What a lie, what a lie, what a lie
But still, he left you. All the time. When you needed him. The world needs Captain America. But you needed Steve.
Apparently he didn’t need you.
For you and I What a lie, what a lie For you and I
You were good. Good at pretending like things were going to work out. Like you were going to work out. It was a good time. But it ended.
Knockout (Chris Evans x Reader)
Pairings: Chris Evans x Reader
Warnings: none?
Request: could you pls write a chris evans oneshot where she ask him to teach her how to box and he ends up accidentally punching her in the face and he’s so strong that it makes her black out for a few minutes?
Requested By: Anonymous
“Come on babe, please!” your lower lip jutted out in a pout as you pleaded with your boyfriend Chris to teach you how to box. Working out was new to you, and you had seen how badass women looked when they boxed; plus, it was a great workout.
“Y/N, I’m not going to teach you how to box,” Chris responded with a chuckle and shake of his head.
Your pout became more obvious as you did your best to give him puppy dog eyes, but he didn’t seem to want to budge. “You’re no fun.”
At your words, Chris turned around and placed his hands at your hips. “I don’t want to teach you how to box because I love you too much.” You brow furrowed at his words. “Look, when Scarlet and I were on set filing ‘The Winter Soldier’, she and I would box in our spare time together.” His eyes turned down and you could see a hint of blush spread across of cheeks. “Well, I accidentally hit her a bit too hard and she went down. I honestly thought I did some real damage to her and luckily she was just fine in the end.”
Your head cocked to the side as your arms wrapped around his waist. “Chris, baby, I trust you. I know you’ve got these big strong arm muscles from all that working out to become Captain America. But I know you wouldn’t intentionally hurt me. Plus, think of it as a positive on my end. Boxing could benefit me if anything were to happen to me!”
That got Chris thinking, and he knew that you would be able to protect yourself if anything bad were to happen; he reluctantly agreed.
~~~
Your chest was heaving and you were hunched over, trying to catch your breath. Chris really was working you harder than you have ever worked out before. He had been showing you all the basics; make sure your face was protected and how to throw a decent punch. But now it came down to the real show.
“Alright Chris…come at me!” you said with a grin; your left hand in front of your face for protection as your right hand was ready to block his punch.
He came at you fast, having clearly much more experience than you. You were able to block the first few punches, but your left hand become preoccupied trying to block more of his punches, and he ended up hitting you square in the cheek. The last thing you remembered was hitting the mat hard.
~~~
“Ow,” you said as you woke up; your left cheek stinging with heat and pain. “Wha…what happened?”
“My worst nightmare happened,” Chris said as he softly grazed your cheek with the back of his hand. “I punched you in the face on accident.”
Slowly, you got up into a sitting position with Chris’ help. “Chris,” you responded but his gaze was on the floor, “look at me please.” With hesitation, his eyes met yours. “Baby it was an accident alright? I asked you to do this with me, and I knew the consequences. I knew what could have happened, but I still wanted to try it out. I don’t blame you and I don’t want you to blame yourself.”
“But I hurt you.”
“Yes Chris, it hurts a little bit. But it’s nothing I can’t live with. A little ice and I will be just fine. Not only are you helping me work out, you’re helping to teach me to protect myself…and THAT is what is important.” Your right hand came up to graze his beard, loving the way it felt on your fingers. “Sooner or later, people are going to realize we are dating, and I want to be able to protect myself if anything were to happen. Now….how about we go round two?”
“Y/N, I am NOT going to continue this today. You need to rest.”
“Chris, I’m not talking about that.” His head whipped up and his eyes locked on yours; his brows furrowing in confusion. “I’m talking about round two of what happened this morning in the shower.”
You’re Not Alone
Pairings: Steve Rogers x Reader (Modern AU)
Warnings: Language, Angst-ish, Fluff,
Word Count: 2250+
Request: “Hi! I was wondering if you could write something about Steve being the Reader's gym coach? Thanks!” - @cobo-doodles
A/N: I went a little off the rail with the coach thing. It wasn’t a super big part of their relationship, but it was how the two met. I tried a different approach on how the two would be if one of them had a bad day, or week in this case. I also really need a Steve in my life… I hope you enjoy it!!
The gifs, not mine. Credit to the wonderful owner.
“Again.”
“No.” The snarl pulled a chuckled form the blonde man, his arms crossed against his chest as he observed the smaller woman struggling with the leg presses. Y/N huffed with a glare through the mirror on the wall, grumbling under her breath how he still looked perfect despite doing the same routine as her. It wasn’t fair. She was a panting, gross, sticky mess while he hadn’t even broken a sweat.
Steve Rogers, the man who seemed to enjoy making her life miserable, was a problem. Not a bad problem, exactly. He had been her gym trainer for the past 7 months, after one god awful trip to a store. Y/N was tired of looking in the mirrors and seeing a body she didn’t like. It was something she had debated for months about, and she finally decided to bite the bullet. Taking matters into her own hands, she waltzed into a gym and signed up for a trainer.
Little did she know, she signed up to have her ass handed to her four times a week by none other than a tall, beautiful man that made it hard for her to concentrate on anything when he was around. Despite his outward golden boy appearance, Steve was no saint. He pushed her past her limit, smirking at her whenever she’d whine that she’d have enough. There was more than one occasion she’d thought to pick up a dumbbell and throw it at his head. He was hard headed and tough with an award-winning smile. Complain all she wanted, she would begrudgingly admit, he did good work. Which is one reason why she didn’t put up much of a fight when he told her to start again.
Right now, however, she didn’t want any part of him or his dumb work out. She had a rough week at work- no, a god awful horrible week, and the last thing she wanted was to put up with his routines. Steve hadn’t missed her growing foul mood, but decided it wasn’t best to press. At first.
“I said again.” He repeated, stepping to face her on the leg press. Y/N glared up at him defiantly, refusing to budge.
“And I said no.” Y/N countered. She lowered her legs from the press, bending down to grab her bottle. Steve watched as she took a long chug, Y/N avoiding all eye contact. His eyes narrowed when she swung her feet around and stood on shaking legs. She grunted and brushed past him, moving on to the next set in the routine. Steve followed close behind, his brows furrowed as he looked over her tense shoulders. Something was bothering her, and it was bothering him. Taking two large steps forward, Steve reached out and gently took hold of her upper arm.
“Wait, Y/N. Stop.” Steve urged. Y/N snarled, and ripped her arm from his grip. Stunned, Steve blinked at her outburst. She froze when she realized what she just did. Face flushing, Y/N ducked her head and turned away.
“Shit, Steve. I’m sorry.” She whispered, her voice wavering. She took in a deep breath, trying to contain her tears. All emotions built up in an instant, and she was struggling not to break down. Steve cursed and immediately wrapped her up in his arms.
“Hey, no it’s okay. I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have pushed.” Steve soothed, petting her head. Y/N shook her head into his chest, the tears silently streaming down her face.
“No, it’s not you.” She sobbed. “It’s nothing you did.”
“Do you want to talk about?”
Y/N was quiet, debating on whether it was a good idea or not. Over the several months, despite Steve trying to kill her every other day, the two of them found themselves growing close. They had time on their hands when working out, so they found themselves talking about anything to fill the time. She learned he was an artist, had a best friend named Bucky, and was incredibly shy despite seeming like a hard ass. He really did care about her, which made her decision easier.
“Yeah, but not here…” She whispered against his chest. Nodding, Steve steered her to the fitting rooms.
“Go change, we’ll go get coffee.” Sniffing, Y/N nodded and disappeared into the fitting rooms. She spent time cleaning her face before she changed, stuffing her gym clothes into her bag.
Steve stood outside, in dark wash jeans and a pale silver button down shirt. His hands were tucked in his pockets, and his hair was brushed out smooth. Y/N froze, caught off guard. She still wasn’t used to seeing him in regular clothes, despite going out to the bar every once and a while with him and his friends. She mainly saw him in his workout clothes, so to see him in casual clothes always threw her off.
“Hey.” Steve greeted with a smile, pushing off the wall to her side. “You ready?”
Y/N nodded, gripping the strap to her bag. Steve motioned her to follow, leading them wordlessly out the gym. The walk to the little coffee shop at the corner was quiet, Steve letting her try to unwind as they enter the building. They ordered and moved to sit in their quiet corner in the back. Steve waited, sipping his coffee as Y/N sorted out her thoughts. Breathing deeply, Y/N decided it was as best of time to any to start.
“First, I’m sorry I snapped. It’s not your fault I’ve had a shitty week and I shouldn’t have taken it out on you.” She sighed. Steve smiled in reassurance, that crooked grin that always cause Y/N to struggle to breathe.
“What happened?” He asked gently, his tone so tender Y/N felt her heart stop for a split second.
“It’s just, I’m at my wits end with my boss. I do exactly what he says and I get yelled out because I’m ‘doing it wrong.’ I had a report I had to fill out by Wednesday, and he gave me the list of things I needed to make sure was in it. When I turned it in, he took one look at it and told me it was a pile of shit. He berated me in front of everyone in the office, telling me I couldn’t follow directions, and bullshit.” Y/N had to stop and take in a deep breath, drinking more of her coffee.
Steve felt his anger grow, having already voice his opinion of his dislike of her job. He had to grip his knee to stop the bouncing. This wasn’t the first time she had been yelled at by her boss, but this was the first time It was this bad. Her boss was a sexist jerk, and Steve was always trying to convince her to find another. But she argued she could handle it. He frowned into his own cup, glaring at a spot over her shoulder as he struggled to find the right words. Y/N continued, finding it harder to stop once she started.
“I did laundry yesterday, and forgot lipstick in my pockets, and now my brand-new blouse is ruined.”
“The green one? I liked that one.” He remembered that blouse, she needed a second opinion and asked for his since he had an eye for color. It made her eyes pop.
“Yeah, I did too. Can’t wear it anymore with giant red stain on the back.” Y/N snorted. “My heel broke on Monday at outside work and I have the scab to prove it, and then I bruised my side when I ran into the metal corner of my desk. I’m just so overwhelmed and exhausted, it’s like I can’t catch a break. Not to mention, my mother wouldn’t stop bothering me about why I’m perpetually single. I just don’t know how much more I can take.”
Steve sat up straight when the tears stared to form again, his protective instincts kicking in. Y/N blinked rapidly, in hopes to keep from breaking down in the corner of her favorite coffee shop. Again. His heart went out to her, and he couldn’t stop himself from taking her hands in his. He rubbed his thumb on the back of hand, her hands tiny compared to his own.
“You should have told me you’ve had such a rough week. It’s okay to have to stop every once and a while to breathe. I’d have understood.” Steve had started to scold, but stopped himself at the broken expression on her face. “Why didn’t you tell me?”
“I don’t know.” Y/N shrugged. “I didn’t want to bother anyone. You know, handle it myself. I guess I wasn’t handling it very well.”
Steve frowned, squeezing her hand. “And I’ve told you. I don’t mind if you need someone to vent to. We’ve known each other, what? Six and a half months now? You can talk to me anytime you need to.”
Y/N dared a glance up to peak. Steve was looking in to his empty cup, a light blush on his cheeks as he spoke. His gaze darted up when he felt as if he was being watched, and the two locked eyes. Y/N was the first to blink, the butterflies growing in her stomach by the second.
“Thank you, Steve. But you don’t want to be bothered by my problems. You’re my trainer.” Y/N was too busy looking down to notice the flash of hurt across his face.
“Is that all I am to you?” He asked, his voice suddenly much smaller than before. “Just your trainer?”
At the waver in his voice, Y/N’s head snapped up with wide eyes.
“Oh God. No Steve, Ah shit that’s not what I meant!” Y/N back peddled. “I just- we don’t ever-. Let me start again. You don’t want to know about my problems, you have other things you need to worry about, and my issues with a jack ass boss isn’t one of them. Of course, you’re more than that. You’ve quickly become a close friend of mine. It’s just that it’s my problems, I’ll figure it out.”
Steve sat hunched over in his seat, looking up at Y/N sadly through his eyelashes. He didn’t want her to keep things from him, he wanted her to feel like she could tell anything, that they were past that awkward start in their friendship. He told her things about himself not many people knew, like how when he was younger he was a skinny boy with God awful asthma, or how he had a sweet tooth he had to keep in check. He knew only a small handle full of things about her. He wanted to know more.
“You don’t- I don’t want you to keep things from me.” Steve hesitated, his cheeks burning as he continued. “I want to know your worries. I want you to come to me whenever you feel overwhelmed. You don’t have to struggle alone. I’m here for you, whenever you need it. Please don’t think you’re burdening me with your problems. You never will.”
Y/N felt her face heat up, a blush spreading down her neck as Steve spoke. She didn’t want to assume, but was he really saying what she thought he was saying?
“Steve?” Y/N leaned forward, linking her fingers with his. Steve stared at their hands, his pulse racing as he tried to find his courage. He had been sitting on this indecision for months now, actually since the day she walked in to the gym. He watched her turn from a self-conscious, scared woman to this confident, opinionated woman in months. All because of him and the strength he helped her find. If she could find her courage to make a change for herself, then he could too.
“Would you- I mean if you want- would you like to go out this weekend? With me?” Steve’s face burned as he finally asked what he had been dying to ask. “I can help you unwind, maybe relax from this week.”
Y/N brows rose, a sly grin spreading on her face. Even with the butterflies growing in her stomach, she couldn’t help it. “Steve, I had no idea you were that kind of man.”
“Oh jeez. No, I didn’t mean-.” Y/n giggled at the sight of Steve as he panicked; bright red face, and a stuttering mess. He stopped at the delicate sound, his eyes wide as he looked at Y/N. Her tease clicked in his brain, and he shook his head in amusement.
“Ha ha. Funny, Y/N.” His signature grin was back in place, cheeks still a bright pink. “But I’m serious. I want to take you out.”
“Like a date date?”
“Like a date date.” Steve smiled, his eyes shining with hope. Y/N chewed on her lip, she was nervous to cross that line. He was her trainer after all. What if this all went south? Where would that put her? Throwing cation into the wind, Y/N was tired of over thinking. She did that way too much, and a handsome man was asking her on a date. She was exhausted, not crazy.
“I would love to.”
The smile she was given was blinding, Steve immediately sitting taller and notably happier. Her brought her fingers to his lips, pressing a gentle kiss against her skin. Bucky told him to just get over himself and do it, he knew she wasn’t going to say no. Just with her five little words, Steve felt his heart soar.
“Thank God.”
The week might have started on a sour note, but it ended being the best week of her life.
Weekly Reading List #40
Hello there!
Here we are again, another week’s over. Maybe some of you have noticed that Germany’s already practicing for autumn and especially Halloween, ‘cause the weather here is scary. Windy, rainy and even planes have trouble to get down safely. But that’s perfect for me to take my time and test some recipes for a Halloween cake. I thougt about doing a tasty Jack O’Lantern, filled with apples, Cidre, chestnuts and a lot of more stuff... I’m gonna post some pics, if I get it right on Halloween, so be prepared ;) ‘Till then, enjoy the following writings, the best you can do with a weather like ours. Have fun and good night!
