hello hello! It’s been a while since I’ve had a question for you. I’ve been seeing on Insta (I had TikTok and deleted it a while ago so idk if it’s on there or not) a “trend” of sorts where the kid will tell the mom to shut up, to see the dad’s reaction. The mom and kid are both in on it, but the dad isn’t. So my question is, is that something you think one of the kids (I think Robbie but your choice obviously) would do with one of their dads (I’m thinking Steve with his past but again your choice)? If so, how would the other parent (in my hypothetical situation, Eddie) react?

I feel like Hazel is the ringleader when it comes to subjecting their unwitting fathers to TikTok trends.

She definitely loops Steve in, sets her phone up somewhere in the kitchen while he's making dinner, and films this:

Steve, chopping a bell pepper: Haze, can you help Dad take the trash and recycling out please?

Hazel: *non-committal mumble*

Steve: Hazel.

Steve: C'mon, look alive.

Steve: A little help around here would be nice.

Hazel: Ugh, Pop, can you just shut up about the garbage for two seconds?

Steve: *unphased, continuing to chop his bell pepper*

Eddie:

Eddie: Uh, 'scuse me?

Hazel: What?

Eddie: Since when do you talk to people like that?"

Eddie: 'Specially when it's Pop.

Hazel: *shrugs*

Eddie: Alright, let's go.

Last thing you see before the video cuts off is Steve smirking to himself as Eddie saddles Hazel with all the trash and recycling and then steers her out the door, ranting and raving all the way.
