Cal did keep contact with his father and wrote letters to him while developed a bond with his stepmother. There he learned of his adopted siblings Vi, Powder, Mylo and Clogger. The letters stopped one day as he grew up in a lavish home but yearned to return to Zaun one day. He also formed a bit of a bond with one of his stepmom's old war buddies, Ambessa, who he successfully pranked one day much to his mother's shock. Ambessa saw promise in the boy though. She realized he is a wolf and a fox at the same time.

He later joined the Noxian military and became a decorated soldier like his stepmom. But the years were hard on him and every battle made him question the Empire itself. It all culminated in him participating in a suicide mission where his commanding officer kept sending more men to their deaths. Cal finally snapped and killed him to save more lives. Because of this, Cal deserted and traveled Runeterra to head back home.

The Zaunite returned to his home and found it a much more different place than ever. Cal knew that the community needed a leader and so he and a fellow deserter now enforcer, Nat, decided to rebuild the Drop and help Sevika as he tries to follow in his father's footsteps.

Personality: Cal acts like a mix between his father and Silco at the same time. He was known be extremely clever but also strong as well. But he also has his father's strong sense of justice and compassion at the same time. His time in Noxus amplified these personality traits as he was loyal to the empire at the time. But the battles left his mind scarred and he became disillusioned. This is what led to him killing his commanding officer. By the time he returned to Zaun, Cal is much more wiser and more humble while helping the community. Yet he still remains deadly as ever...
