A Valentine's Day edition Almond Tofu has been delivered to Wangshuu Inn for a certain Adeptus from none other than the Traveler herself.

The Yaksha appeared inside the inn. To him, it was just another day, and he needed his daily fill of Smiley's Almond Tofu. He was one of the people who despised Valentine's Day with a passion. In fact, he placed it in the same category as the Lantern Rite and other festivities. Foolish humans… Verr was discussing plans with her husband about things they would renovate about the Wangshu Inn, alongside the fact that they would have a date in Fontaine, letting Smiley and his co-workers handle the management of the inn while the owners were away. When Verr saw the Adeptus materialize in the area, she walked up to him and showed him the special dish that was delivered minutes ago. It was a plate of Almond Tofu, the usual, but with hearts this time. Unable to contain her amusement, Verr slipped in the remark that he got himself an admirer. Without saying a word, Xiao took the plate and teleported into the balcony, then sat on the ground to eat this special dish, leaning against the wall. Normally, he would be vigilant as one of his titles suggests, but surprisingly, he did not think twice, and there was a barely noticeable tint of blush on his cheeks. He knew that this meal was prepared and delivered by a certain someone... but why?

Not a single word is spoken, but she visibly relaxes - slowly closing her eyes while enjoying the moment.

A temporary food stall was added to the marketplace of the harbor. A friend of Smiley Yanxiao offered to advertise the meals provided in the Wangshu Inn, by giving away free samples of Almond Tofu and other delicacies; one plate for each customer. It was no surprise that Xiao was standing there, waiting in line for his turn. The kitchen of the inn was being renovated, and Smiley was behind the stand, alongside his friend. With crossed arms, the Adeptus was focused on the people ahead of him, but he did sense the arrival and the movement of the Traveler, whose shoulder was in slight contact with his tattooed one.

"..." The Yaksha stiffened a little and for the smallest fraction of a second, but he remained still. Though he said nothing either, he allowed the moment to last.

the streets of liyue harbor were crowded due to everyone coming to celebrate lantern rite. the girl vaguely recalls someone telling her not to wander off, and to be truthful, she hadn't. qiqi remained where they had stopped, but the crowd caused them to be separated. she looked around, not seeing the familiar face she was meant to stay with. instead there were the figures of friends looking at what a stall was selling.

qiqi approaches the traveling duo, a small hand reaching up to take hold of a larger one. "Hello..."

He didn't answer her right away. Now, with energetic light circling behind him faintly, he was using a low level talent to float above the insanity around him. Eventually, he sighed, shaking his head, leaned back as he hovered there just above where her hop allowed him to reach.

"Perhaps it's not bad, but it certainly seems like a waste... How old are you again?" he asked the question with mild disdain.

He finally lowered back to the ground, pacing around the mushroom, still refusing to join in on this 'fun'. He glanced up as she jumped, looking up from under his hat. He didn't exactly like the accusation of needing to loosen up.

He was loose. He just wasn't a fool.
