Sigewinne had recently acquired a new pack of stickers and with the traveler currently visiting the Fortress of Meropide, made a small challenge of seeing how many stickers she could slip on to her without notice. 

She walked up behind Lumine, slipping a sticker on to her skirt before moving to be in her sight, "Hello Lumine! Hi Paimon," the melusine chirped, smiling at the two of them, "How are you two doing?" Her eyes scanned over the woman and her companion, silently inspecting for both injuries... and spots to hide a sticker, giving a small smile, "I hope you both are doing well and are uninjured."

He didn't answer her right away. Now, with energetic light circling behind him faintly, he was using a low level talent to float above the insanity around him. Eventually, he sighed, shaking his head, leaned back as he hovered there just above where her hop allowed him to reach.

"Perhaps it's not bad, but it certainly seems like a waste... How old are you again?" he asked the question with mild disdain.

He finally lowered back to the ground, pacing around the mushroom, still refusing to join in on this 'fun'. He glanced up as she jumped, looking up from under his hat. He didn't exactly like the accusation of needing to loosen up.

He was loose. He just wasn't a fool.

That was definitely the last kind of sight he wished to stumble upon and yet, here we are.

For a moment, he silently stood out the door, keeping to himself. It didn't last though, not when there was this gnawing itch from being very aware of what it was about.

Not like its the first time Michihiko ends up seeing her in that mood. Nor put any fault.

When he would sat down, with yet a word to be uttered, does he contemplate on how to proceed (he was still working on the whole 'comfort others' nonsense). Ultimately, his hand found refuge amidst blonde strands of hair, a single pat done if to, atleast, get her attention, put her out of said thoughts.

In all honestly, its a feeling he, himself, knew enough, experienced throught despite not having any siblings to speak of. He still grew up in a familial atmosphere before it all came crashing into pieces.

The very moment Lumine would shrug it off, perhaps attempt to, is the demigod far from convinced.

The heat was quite fierce, yet it was not something the Adeptus could not endure. After all the summer’s heat was a tickle compared to the bain that befell him every minute of every day. However, through his concentration his ears caught the sound of his name..it was the traveler. She wasn't wrong about his mental fortitude, really, but was it really strength, or insanity that drove him? Some days, Xiao might be unable to tell the difference between the two. The Adeptus would look at her, his expression a normal one that was often upon his face whenever she saw him.

"I think that would depend in 'what way' you are referring to, Lumine,"

He was never one to be overly loud, he often preferred the quiet to being around people, but living at Wangshu Inn he heard more than just the innkeeper, and his wife, but also the passerby, and the guests, too. He avoided contact with as many as he could, rather than allowing himself to linger too close to them. He far more often than not made himself scarce if it was busy so his karma didn't run the risk of affecting any humans that were staying.
