I have gotten back into my Spiritfarer era. Mix that with the LU fandom and poof, I have a new OC LMAO.

For anyone who doesn't know what Spiritfarer is, it's a cozy management game about dying. I'm not making that up, it's deadass what it says on the website.

I highly recommend the game tho! Been playing it for years and it's made me cry. Best game ever, 120% recommend if it interests you.

Anyway, here's some random writing

“Oh great, another ship. Pirate if this isn’t Tetra’s ship I will lose it”

Legend attempts to steady himself as the boat moves past fog. It doesn’t work as well as he’d hope, but he didn’t fall off, so he’ll take the silent win.

“SAILOR!”

“Not mine, Legend. So shut your trap.”

Wind’s arms cross while he takes in the surroundings.

“Plus, Tetra’s isn’t this fancy”

Somewhere in his mind, Wind could hear an insulted ‘hey!’ but he paid no mind. He was preoccupied by the strange set up. Unlike Tetra’s ship, everything is stabilised in the air with a variety of ladders, ropes, and air currents placed to travel from one point to the next.

Wind takes out his pictobox and snaps photos. Maybe he’d be able to convince Tetra to add some of this to her ship? Might make things easier one day.

“Strange, so where are we?”

“You guys are on my ship!”

The group of nine turn their heads in various directions, only two getting the direction right.

“Up here!”

With them all looking in the right way - save the two snickering at each other - they spot a woman with a bright yellow star-shaped hat staring down with a watering can in her hand; she holds a finger up before disappearing.

A few Links shrug, others moving away slightly to check out the area. There wasn’t much rhyme or reason to what could be seen, only that the woman who called out to them was the captain; and with knowledge to what it was like around Tetra’s ship, upmost respect is definitely a requirement.

“Phew, sorry about that! Had to grab some veggies I’ve been growing”

The woman from earlier - by the three that hat is wider than her entire body - slides down the ladder, wiping some dirt off her hands and pants before holding a hand out.

“I’m Stella!”

Time moves to reciprocate the greeting, giving her his name and gesturing to each Link, all responding in kind.

“Excellent! It’s a pleasure to meet you guys! If I’m being completely honest, I haven’t met this many spirits at one time before…” she trails off, seeing a mixture of confusion and worry across her guests faces; but she continues on with a smile “…but don’t worry! I can make you guys room in two shakes of Daffodil’s tail!”

Four looks around the deck, “Who’s Daffodil?”

Stella gazes at him, confused, before turning to her side. She shakes her head with an airy chuckle and looks at her watch.

“Oh, he’s in Stanley’s room,” she shakes her head lightly, “it’s about to hit lunch and we’re stopping to visit a friend today.”

She nods, satisfied with her explanation, before looking to the front of the ship and walking away.

“Actually, would you guys like to join us? It’s not often Daffodil and I are able to visit and I’m sure he’d appreciate more company.”

She stands near a life floaty and gives a two fingered salute.

“Feel free to explore everything. Just- don’t go into Bruce and Mickey’s mansion! Those two never liked it when it was me - and I RUN this ship - can’t imagine if it was someone they didn’t know.”

She opens a door and leaves the group to explore.

Wild immediately takes the opportunity to gun it towards the wind gusts. Twilight, who just so happened to stand next to Wild during that entire interaction, grabs the back of his shirt as he turned away.

“No ya don’t. We need to figure out how we got here.”

“You’re just mad that you don’t have something to glide with.”

Wild dodges his predecessor’s swipe near him with a cackle before leaving to explore.

“Even though both bands have their own signature tones and pace, both have wandered off to the other end of the spectrum occasionally, and while the match up might seem strange upon first glance, the composition process was rather quick and smooth, maybe to everyone’s surprise. Done via file sharing in the middle of the plague, the results of these two worlds colliding are nothing short of lush and fluent; most of the time you can’t tell anymore where the other begins and where the other ends, thus the collaborational aspect clearly flourishes as it should. What started out as a few messages sent back and forth, resulted in a genreless, mind-bending monolith of an album that Vestigial Spectra is. Vestigial Spectra carries both Fawn Limbs and Nadja’s own signatures, but burns bright to exist as an entity completely of its own. The songs and the album as a whole ebbs and flows between unestablished parameters that are as surprising as they are anticipated. Taking influence from a variety of styles ranging from grindcore to doom and from noise to ambient, Vestigial Spectra blends its components seamlessly to produce an entirely novel aural field that simultaneously is both a dynamic and thought-out craft and a wall of noise-esque seemingly directionless leviathan. Whether slow, fast, or free of pulse and time, every single second on the album is as important as the ones preceding and following it, making Vestigial Spectra first and foremost a cohesive and consistent entirety.

Thematically, Vestigial Spectra studies astronomical spectroscopy – in which scientists use a spectograph to determine the make-up of stellar bodies and planets amongst other things – and its inherent relation to human nature. Mirroring these practices and standards from one another makes up for layered lyrical approach that can read as scientific pathos as easily as a metaphorically charged burst of emotion. There are three types of spectra – absorption, continuous, and emission – which corresponds to the album’s structure and sonic being.”

okay okay, weil @maxwellshimbo interesse bekundet hat: ich lasse mir das T-Shirt bei Spreadshirt drucken, ab 5 Stck gibt's Mengenrabatt.

Wenn wir mindestens 5 zusammenbekommen könnte ich noch für euch mitdrucken. ich würde das Design hinten noch ein bisschen tweaken, würde aber gerne spätestens Donnerstag Früh bestellen (ich brauche das für den Bobcast und nächste Woche ist Feiertag).

Ich kann die T-Shirts als unversicherte BüWa in DE verschicken, dann wären wir bei ca. 30 € pp wenn dieser eine Rabattcode den ich gefunden habe funktioniert. (wenn ihr lieber ein Päckchen/ wollt auch kein Problem, ich würde die Versandkosten eh draufrechnen).

Theoretisch ginge auch nach Österreich, ich bin im Juni wieder dort und kann dann Inlands verschicken.
